Smartphones BbDevMgr.exe blackBerry

BbDevMgr.exe

I am looking at in the Task Manager and it is open for 2 seconds and then closes. I'm under DTM 4.5 and XP Pro Sp3. It just started and I can't stop when DTM is running, it remains open, but when I close the DTM goes back to eternal on and off cycle and slows down my PC. I tried to re start the same thing.

Any ideas?

I just realize that the problem was Shark Modem. With it, do not run running (in the background) the problem disappeared

Hi ALL, I have to write a program to copy the files from the BlackBerry smartphone on desktop. I learned that BlackBerry Device Manager is used to communicate with BB. And we can write programs using BBDevMgr.exe, which is installed when BlackBerry Device Manager is installed. I was able to add a reference to BBDevMgrPs.dll, but could not able to create an object, or be able to view the public methods in it. BBDevMgrPs.dll is located in the same folder as BBDevMgr.exe. IAM writing the program in Excel VBA. I've seen the C++ code in Desktop_API_Reference_Guide_46.pdf, which uses BBDevMgr.exe. Help, please.

I think that there you will not get the answer.

  • Problems of peripheral connection to the Desktop Manager and Apploader.exe blackBerry Smartphones

Just got a new BB8900 last Friday. On Monday, I met a Reload software: 552 error code and after checking online forums for options on how to fix I finally had to reinstall the operating system and reinstall the new applications, which are not checked by the resettlement process. Because I was afraid to become again this error when I rebooted the machine, I immediately made backups every hour I was reconfigure the device and adding my apps.

Today I was going to do another backup for good measure, and once I have connected my Blackberry to the computer with Desktop Manager running, Desktop Manager crashed and gave me the following error message:

I then tried the APPLOADER. EXE program location in program files/common files/research in motion/apploader. I had used this program yesterday to try to remove applications 1 by 1 with the hope that a single request was causing the error 552. Now for some reason any program as a problem to note the following in the error log file:

Read 1010fffc location caused an access violation.

I've looked through several forums and have not found a solution. What I can tell you is the following:

    (1) the phone works well, but I'm afraid by restarting the phone and another 552 error (there were two deleted apps that will be entirely deleted on reboot). Hope everything is fine but I got two of these 552 errors within 24 and the second came without any warning. If I get this error there is no way to make my backup since I can't connect to DM without it crashing.

    (2) it doesn't seem to be a timing issue, but I deleted the Intellisync folder anyway and it does not solve the problem.

    (3) have rebooted my machine without change to the problem.

    (4) have reinstalled DM Version 5 (this time without Roxio Media software) without change to the problem.

    (5) because now I get an error when connecting to DM and trying to run apploader.exe, there seems to be a setting on my phone which may cause problems (I don't know what it can be, but the APPLOADER program finds a violation of place then maybe the Blackberry software is confused about where to find my Apps?)

    (6) the BlackBerry Device Manager works fine and takes note of my device and the serial number it is necessary.

After my last backup yesterday I probably only installed 3-4 other apps that I had lost and organized/moved files on the phone. So get this problem if shortly after that everything worked fine is staggering.

Another update: it seemed to me I found the problem.  While RIM support recommended I do a reset, I pushed the rest of the phone feature seems to work very well.  I opted to start removing the one phone applications and then try to connect to the Desktop Manager.

Once I removed the ZDNet Tech News For the IT professional and rebooted the phone, I was able to connect and make a backup. I'm sure this app works very well for almost everyone, but for some reason (maybe it is in conflict with another application on my phone), Desktop Manager does not do that and close. Initially, I reinstalled again and was able to make a new backup but an hour later Desktop Manager stops again (perhaps by doing an update on the news it creates a conflict with the Desktop Manager).

Indeed summary of learning since my problem seems to be quite uniqueCurve 8900)

    (1) if the Director of bureau stops and you have tried other solutions on the forums such as deleting the folder Intellisync and reinstalling Desktop Manager, try to remove applications 1 by 1 and restart the phone before trying to connect again to Desktop Manager.

    (2) If you have had this problem, frequently make backups and keep track of what you add to your phone in case there is a problem you know the latest apps to remove (in my case, I couldn't go to my last backup since DM would be closed with the conflict of the app).

    (3) only consider a wipe of the device if you have exhausted your apps withdrawal tests.  Apps that came on your phone which notes the seller in the section about the application that RIM should be good.  Also while on AppWorld apps are offered by BlackBerry, there is no certainty that they will work on your phone.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones RoxWatchTray9.exe - Application error

I managed to install (after some tent and using these maps) the Desktop Manager and VZAccess Manager on my laptop for my Storm. However, whenever I turn on my computer, I get the following error:

    RoxWatchTray9.exe - Application error

The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000006). Click OK to close the application.

I click OK and everything seems to work fine (at least what I use), but this error continues to show. There is no option to "do not show this error" so I get it. Is this something I should be concerned? Is there a way to make it stop coming on my system?

RoxWatchTray is a module of Roxio.

From my point of view the best way is BB Desktop Software Uninstall and install it again without Roxio.

If you do not want this try to find a Boot Manager utility (you can google those words) and manage applications that run at startup.

    And remove RoxWatchTray.

If you have technical knowledge, you can do it manually without start utility. Run regedit, find and and delete RoxWatchTray9.exe registry entries: http://www.doshelp.com/HowToView/Registry_Keys.htm

  • BlackBerry smartphones reset on blackberry storm 2

Anyone know how to reset my blackberry storm 2 its on a white screen that says device error 370

Even if you have already done this, please do again, as outlined here:

Make a simple reboot, or what some call a "hard reset" on the BlackBerry this way:

With the BlackBerry powereddevice, remove the battery for FIVE MINUTES, and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this way is prescirbed for most the gltiches and operating system errors, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

No matter what? If it isn't...

    (1) make sure that you have Blackberry Desktop Manager installed.
    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/services/desktop/
    (2) on your PC, go to start > run and copy and paste the following line exactly (i.e. with quotation marks):

    'c:\program files\common research in motion\apploader\loader.exe' /nojvm

    (3) the Application Loader Wizard will appear - click on "next".
    (4) in the ' connection: ' drop-down menu, you should see "USB - PIN: UNKNOWN". Click on the button "next".
    (5) you should see a list of applications ready to be installed for your Blackberry. Press Next and finish, and that you are well on your way to get your Blackberry to life. Just unplug and let the process finish completely.

NOTE: If you do not display the list of applications mentioned in step 5 and instead to see the message "the Blackberry Desktop Software has no Blackberry Device Software for the device you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator', then you must download the Blackberry operating system for your support and your device.

Just select the appropriate type of carrier and network, select your Blackberry model from the list and download the latest version. Install this download and follow the steps above again and you should be on the right track.

  • BlackBerry smartphones HELP! BlackBerry Torch 9810 error messages. How can I fix it

Hello. Would be very grateful for help. I brought a new Blackberry 9810 but at first, I was unable to make a Blackberry ID. I've sorted this problem by buying a new sim card, but after that, I was unable to download the Blackberry App store. Since then, I took the phone to a local repair shop, who restarted the OS software, however still unable to download the App store.

Since this fact I now some more different two errors appear. One is when I go to 'Create' in the main menu an error appears: "error starting net_rim_bb_toolkit: Module 'net_rim_bbid_common' not found ' I can't make regarding my BBID. Help?

The second is when I click on 'Blackberry Protect' again on the main menu, this message appears: "error starting net_rim_bb_dryad_gui: Module 'net_rim_bbid_api' not found.» New HELP?

I was really excited to try a Blackberry phone, switch from an Iphone, however at the moment just upset im and want my Iphone, without the flaws in return. I HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP ME PLEASE!

First of all, you need to reinstall the operating system.  I don't know what the people at phone repair shop, but you should not get these errors.

    1. I recommend the 7.1 OS from here: choose the model 9810 and the 7.1.0.658 version and download it.

    https://swdownloads.BlackBerry.com/downloads/contactFormPreload.do?code=9FC664916BCE863561527F06A96F...

    2. If you have data on the device you want to keep then make a manual backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > backup. Close at the end Office Manager and disconnect it from BlackBerry. You can get the BlackBerry Desktop Software here http://us.blackberry.com/apps-software/desktop/

    3. download the OS from step 1 of the file on the PC then install on the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.

    4. go into c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml." Also, check the following locations for the vendor.xml file and delete all instances of the file:

On Windows Vista/7, go to C:\Users\YOUR_USER\AppData\Roaming\Research in XML Motion\BlackBerry\Loader (where 'YOUR_USER' is your user name)

On Windows XP, go to C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_USER\Application is In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML (where 'YOUR_USER' is your user name)

    5. Please a clean OS Reload and use BBSAK from BBSAK.org and wipe the device (after doing a full backup) then after you get the 507 error (no OS installed) then go to the next step.

    6. plug the BlackBerry and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in c:\program files\common research in motion\apploader

This will reinstall the latest OS on your device.  Once this is done, you will need to make sure that you have a BlackBerry BIS data plan on your account.  Contact O2 to ensure that it is put into service.

  • Service of blackBerry Smartphones concerns tarnish Blackberry

    Hello

I'm a university student who has had my BlackBerry Bold 9780 for these last two years and have nothing but LOVED. I depend on my device smartphone for a number of functions throughout my life of all school days and have been nothing but satisfied with my phone! However, last month I had quite the battle with my provider MTS who seems determined to tarnish my relationship with my camera. You see, when I bought my BlackBerry I signed up for an extra year of warranty service to protect my camera, just in case something should happen after a year to ensure that you provide your customers. In early may, my screen started to give me problems, so I sent it in for repairs through my provider MTS and when I got back, I noticed that my unit was now working more slow and more problematic than when I had originally sent away. Now, I realize that this issue is not topically unrelated to the Blackberry, but I bring this to your attention today such that you might be able to do something to prevent suppliers of 'maintenance' your devices incorrectly and give your business a bad reputation. I decided at this stage I want to update my phone and will probably buy the rest of my contract with MTS and switch to a more professional provider, however I would definitely consider buying another BlackBerry device, but only where I'm assured that I would get a certain level of care from my provider.

    Your really

    Brandon

    A concerned customer

    Brandon, welcome aboard!

First of all, we, like you, are BlackBerry users.  We love to help others with their problems of BlackBerry, but as a regular user, we have no control of how your carrier solves your problems in service.

That being said, I suggest that you return to MTS to tell them that they have not fulfilled their obligation to provide a satisfactory service in your device.  They are contracted by BlackBerry to support your device.  If they are unable to provide a solution, they want to escalate your problem directly to BlackBerry technical support free of charge for you.

Please go back to them and tell them to finish the job they started; It is their contractual obligation.

    Keep us in the loop.

Hello... and apologies for the late reply.

    climb45 wrote:

The browser comes as part of the core OS BB on the device, but depending on the level of the OS, it may or may not be able to operate without an adequate data plan subscription. Some (most recent) OS levels allow the browser to function very well via WiFi BB only, while others limit the browser race strictly via BIS (even when WiFi is the data connection only). Opera can be installed on the BB as a replacement browser and normally works very well when WiFi is available. Many 3rd party applications have parameters of configuration inside of them to direct the application to use BIS, BES, WiFi, etc. for their course of data... we must be sure to have the apps configured correctly to allow them access to a functional way, especially when BIS is not due to no data plan subscription.

    climb45 wrote:

    See for general guidance:

It is not quite fully updated for the newer operating system levels (see above re: BB browser), but it is generally reasonable to use.

    climb45 wrote:

Other than BBM and SMS (in newer versions of PB/BB/bridge), I don't know any way to run, your PB, whatever your BB at all. On the BB, he has the ability to remote control of the PB (via Bridge of BB), but not the other way around as far as I understand. Since you will not subscribe bis, you won't have BBM anyway.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones more recent blackberry torch 9810 os and bundle

What is the version of the most recent os and nice blackberry torch 9810 and the bundle. My career a lot of them, and I don't know which is new or old. Help

Hello and welcome to the community!

'New' is a delicate issue... the controls of each carrier that they will release their users. A carrier may be faster than that, so most "recent" is always a question of double-"which is most recent of my carrier?" as well as "which is most recent overall?"

For your comparison, make sure you understand clearly what is your currently installed operating system:

    • KB23393 How to check the model number and the version of the BlackBerry device software on a BlackBerry smartphone

The first question (your "most recent" carriers) is quite simple to answer. You navigate through the portal of official download:

your operator, and then select your model, and then compare the different versions that they currently to sanction. You compare based on 'Applications' values:

The last in this list is the level of 7.0, with the first two BONES is 7.1 level. 7.1 is 'bigger' 7.0, so that you know that the 7.1 selections are more recent than the 7.0 selection. Then, by comparing the two 7.1 packages, see you the final byte and compare those... comparer.391 contre.746 et.746's new "gourmet", so it's a newer than the paquet.391 package.

This example, I quickly broke Rogers of the portal region... your own carrier may very well have completely different selections, but the comparison method is the same.

The second question (total 'most recent') is more difficult to answer. The download portal, you can see is first sorted by carrier (as they manage the operating system for their users), then by camera model. So, to find this answer you have to dig each carrier, find out who supports your model, determine the "most recent" version of carriers and then compare all the "latest" versions through carriers to see overall which is 'latest '.

It can be a very painful process, only necessary if you plan to use a package of OS else than your own carrier... that can be important to based on a variety of possible circumstances. For example, when I was on the 9860 on ATT, they were very slow to migrate from 7.0, 7.1, but the 'solutions' and the features added to the 7.1 have been pretty important to me. So I chose to use a package from another carrier (via the tip for the removal of the SELLER. XML files). You may or may not have a similar need.

    Good luck!

Don't think it is specific to this 7100i.  A previous user of BB #1 has been deleted from our Server BES 4.0 a week ago because she replaced by another carrier & using a PDA.  7100i BB #2 of the user different has stopped working.  Deleted the BB #2 user of BES and inscribed on old BB #1.  To old BB #1 BB #2 SIM card. Everything works fine except new user also receives former BB #1 email users as well.

Wipe the 7100i clean twice, no go.  Added BB #1 user to return in BES and don't delete yet, go.  Waited all night with the two users of BES, no go.  No user BIS introduced.

Temp have email user # 1 goes into personal folders of emails to go to the # 2 BB user.

Changed successfully to other BB the same way without any problem

Any ideas what is the cause?

OK, we are approaching a solution.

Can I confirm you have one book [CMIME] service, and you have any service book begins with an e-mail address?

I think the problem is that these files Blackberry are still attached to the mailbox of the user of your BB #1.

Here's my suggestion, and I'm pretty confident it will solve your problem.

Contact your operator to degenerate into RIM or call RIM directly if you have a Tsupport and get a call from file DBCLEAN.exe they should be able to guide you on its use, but here are the instructions.

If your BB #1 user is no longer on the BES, put the DBCLEAN.exe file in the root of C:. Ensure that all other programs are closed and make sure that the MAPI profile user does not "exchange cache mode. Prompt commune, then go in C:, then type dbclean, enter. This will remove all records of BB attached in the users folder.

Then remove BB #2 out the BES user and do the same as above, make sure that HH is not connected to the PC. Once completed, wipe the HH and turn it on again.
