  Strange question I know but how do the digital 0 on the keyboard?

  I ask because my home address ends in 50 and there is no 0 on the section numbers! If I try and enter 5O (that is to say 5, then a capital o) does not recognize my email address!

  The BlackBerry Style is a CDMA device and does not have a SIM card, so it wouldn't work.

  Prior to revision 5, when in the form of the clock, what I had to do was press the trackball and the display of alarm came.  Once the alarm screen came, I had the opportunity to choose the time and the frequency of the alarm, IE. Only once, only on weekends or during the week.  I now only Monday to Friday option on or off.  Since I'm moving on professionally, I often have a wake-up call early on a weekend days.  This option is just simply unacceptable.  I even tried to regularise the upgrade. After support for the upgrade, I was allowed to set the alarm to the way in which I used only once.  Future attempts to make same resulted in revised alarm option... Verizon was no help!

  The best way to set an alarm is to do from the calendar app.  Works slick.  You can set for one day only or on Saturdays or Sundays 1, etc.  Alarm in the calendar is one of the best things that RIM has ever done.

• Need to Smartphones blackBerry help ASAP setting my BB Torch. Everyone?

  I was getting just off a call with my provider customer when my BB Torch erased completely on me. It has not failed to put on for me even on the charger. I tried all the possible basis for trying to fix but nothing seems to work. It has been like this for a little over a week now, the computer reads the phpne whenever I plug the USB into the computer. What makes the phone is showing & flashing a red light... Just earlier today, I plugged the phone back into the laptop to see if the BB software would pick it up, and I saw the battery icon with the bolt in the middle of the battery, in the middle of the screen icon. Then he went... THIS PROBLEM COULD BE THAT IN THE WORLD? I NEED MY PHONE TO WORK ALREADY, I BET I'VE BEEN AWAY A FEW CALLS VERY IMPORTANT!

  If your changes preferred language every time u restart your BB, then go to options-> typing and entry-> language... on the language tab, you will find the language selector, by checking every 2 it...

  Hi I have a question on SMS text messaging.  I recently bought a plan for sms text for 400 per month for 5 dollars.  And for awhile, I was able to fine text and receive texts.  But last week Friday for a reason any, whenever I have to send a text, it would show the text 'pending' and it will never actually send the text.  Also, apparently I am unable to receive texts as well.  Anyone know what is happening?

  did you change since it stopped working? also go to Options > advanced options > service book and look for entry that goes by TMO/SMS something, if its present check he got a mark chek in front of her.

• BlackBerry Smartphones BB Pearl 8220 Flip - external display troubleshooting.

  On a few weeks ago, my father has updated my BB Flip 8220 with the Desktop Manager software that comes with the phone. When he gave me this back, I realized that the external display is empty or just said "T Mobile". Then I noticed several things: when someone would call me, their caller ID would not appear. When anyone text me, I was not able to preview the text I had before. Finally, I was not able to display the elapsed time between the external screen, so I have to unlock my phone to do.

  I looked at other threads that consider external display problems and read about the technique of picking off the dough. But before reading this, I did several times and nothing changed when I turned it back on.

  Now, that said, my question is: 1) is because of my father, blackberry Desktop Manager software update? I lost the usb cable that connects my phone to my computer, but wanted to check if it's something that I could fix it from the phone itself.

  (2) and if it was because of the update, as it did, where would I go to fix it (in the Desktop Manager program).

  I just found the real solution by reading the post below.  Open the Blackberry Desktop Manager when your 8220 is connected to your PC.  Open Application Loader.  Install the Blackberry attachment Service.  As soon as it finished installing my external screen was back to the clock.  My T-Mobile SIM is currently out of the House and the phone is locked, so I can't try Caller-ID or other alerts until tonight, but if the clock is back I think everything's too.

  There are two types of clocks on the BB - ordinary alarm clock and a daily wake which is defined by the calendar. Here's how to solve each of them...

  Ordinary clock radio:

  1. In the clock, press the Menu key.
  2. Click set alarm.
  3. On the trackpad, slide your finger upward or down to select. Drag your finger to highlight on or weekdays.
  4. Press the ESC key.
  5. Click Save.

  Daily wake-up (remove an appointment, meeting, or alarm):

  1. In the home screen, click the calendar icon.
  2. Highlight an appointment, meeting, or alarm.
  3. Press the Menu key.
  4. Click on delete.

  For the latter, you will have to switch to daily view to see any alarms on the list.
