Smartphones blackBerry locked to the network abroad

Hi have a unlocked backberry "BOLD"

Since work in Romania, it has decided to register as a local handset and my UK sim original works.

It is the second "BOLD" BB happened this hs?

How can get to sign up to the correct network. tried all the tricks of sndard (Please note I've worked for the Orange for BlackBerry helpdesk, so I'm not a novice)

NOW, you get a place... specific details. Ok.

You return to the United Kingdom (you didn't before) and that you try now the card SIM of Orange we.

The device is not "locked" to the previous mobile operator that you refuse to name.

It 'the Romanian provider' has not just out the PIN from your old account. Everything you need to do is call them and as long as the former account holder, give out the PIN for the account. This kind of things happen every day, you can find hundreds of messages in the forum about this. The main reason that a provider cannot release the ANKLE is if the account were left unpaid.

Anyway, there is nothing that RIM can do, or someone in this forum, now that you have explained it more clearly. You must call the Romanian supplier without a name.

Everything has worked when I was getting 8 MB phone broadband from Tiscali/TalkTalk & through a Belkin N Router for my wireless network. Since switching to 50MB cable broadband from Virgin Media using a D - Link DIR-615, my Blackberry, insists there is no network to connect to. • Curve Smartphones blackBerry 8520 connected to network bb

I have a blackberry 8520 connected wireless to my ISP BT

It will connect to the internet and allows you to surf the internet, but won't let me sign in yahoo mail. When I try the login box appears for a few seconds, then disappears behind an ad that comes immediately after it and the lock on the top of the page changes straight to an orange padlock.  I disconnected the e-mail on the pc and logged in again to see what is happening there. The exact same announcement came, but the login box was above it, allowing me to connect.

The phone is connected to the network and works well.  I was able to connect with no problem.  The only thing I can find is now on the phone itself. Check connections, my homehub watch is on, but also shows a white dash, which means that it is not connected to the network.  I can't find anything in the help files on how to reconnect to the network.

Can someone point my in the right direction.

Thanks for reading and in advance for any help offered.

Interesting. But if it is said that, just try clicking on Yes. And just, the PSK is the pre-shared key, or the wifi password.

If it still does not respond, the solution may be to back up your phone using the BlackBerry Desktop Software and do a security wipe. To do this, go to Options > Security Options > Security wipe. Do a wipe of the application data. Once it is finished, perform a selective restore by using the BlackBerry Desktop Software and restore only the databases you need (e.g. messages, address book, calendar, etc.).

Then you should be able to start from scratch.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BlackBerry Storm - lost the browser!

I just bought a new BlackBerry two days ago.  I just noticed that I lost the browser sometimes today.  I loaded BlackBerry Desktop Manager this afternoon and I'm doing it to add the browser on my BlackBerry but it does not either.  What can I do to recover my browser?

My cell phone (including the internet) service is with Verizon

    Hello

Let's all start, helps ensure that the browser is actually installed on your device (I'd be shocked if it's not).  Go to Options > Advanced Options > Applications and making sure that it is in the list.  If this isn't the case, please let us know.

Then, take a look in the upper right of the phone in the home screen.  She said that he: 1XEV or 1xev (or even 1 x)?  If it does not say 1XEV, you experience a problem with your connection.  Contact Verizon as they may need to check something on your end.  And while you have them on the phone, ask them to return the directories of service for you.  My recommendation is to do it from another phone as they need you to do things on the phone while talking with them.  When you call, just ask support BlackBerry and they should be able to help without problem.  They also probably re - register your phone on the network, then you can try it now if you wish.  Go to Options > Advanced Options > Tables host routing, then press the BB menu button and select Save now.

Good luck and I hope that gets you operational.  Let us know how things are going and how we can help more if you need .

  • Curver of blackberry Smartphones blackBerry locking

Until that yesterday my fine locked blackberry with the help of the key 'a' and unlocked via the button mute, now if I press the key 'a' it seems to block then unlocks itself immediately after, why is this you? Thank you, Dan

Chaanged having you all the parameters or whatever it is on your BlackBerry?

Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way:

With the BlackBerry powereddevice, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this way is prescirbed for most the gltiches and operating system errors, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.
    Now repeat your locking/unlocking.

  • Smartphones blackBerry phone lights. the red light.

So my blackberry was fine when I went to sleep. woke up and it was off a reason any. I tried to turn it on and it wouldn't. I removed the battery, it reintroduced after a bit and the solid red light came. After a while he went off... then nothing... nothing on the screen.

    HOW SHOULD I DO?

Before you do anything else, do the following:

Leave the appliance to charge 2-3 hours and then, still connected to the USB cable, remove the battery from the camera a few seconds and plug it back. If it starts - let - the charges to 100% (check the Options > status for the percentage).

If your BlackBerry is still under tension turned off with a black screen, follow the instructions below. The only indication of life may be the flashing red indicator light in the upper corner. Nothing seems to wake and Desktop Manager does not recognize that a device is connected.

    (1) make sure that you have Blackberry Desktop Manager installed.
    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/services/desktop/
    (2) on your PC, go to start > run and copy and paste the following line exactly (i.e. with quotation marks):

    'c:\program files\common research in motion\apploader\loader.exe' /nojvm

    (3) the Application Loader Wizard will appear - click on "next".
    (4) in the ' connection: ' drop-down menu, you should see "USB - PIN: UNKNOWN". Click on the button "next".
    (5) you should see a list of applications ready to be installed for your Blackberry. Press Next and finish, and that you are well on your way to get your Blackberry to life. Congratulations! Just unplug and let the process finish completely.

NOTE: If you do not display the list of applications mentioned in step 5 and instead to see the message "the Blackberry Desktop Software has no Blackberry Device Software for the device you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator', then you must download the Blackberry operating system for your support and your device.
    http://www.BlackBerryFAQ.com/index.php/BlackBerry_Operating_System_Downloads
Just select the appropriate type of carrier and network, select your Blackberry model from the list and download the latest version. Install this download and follow the steps above again and you should be on the right track.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones blackberry curve 9300 manual network selection

When I updated my curve 9300 manual network selection, and I select my networ, if I go to an underground place or something and I lose the signal, the phone doesn't pick up the signal automatically when I'm back in a coverage area. Instead, I find a warning window that says "cannot find the home network and asked me to choose if I waast to: set it to automatic, go to the settings or cancel" and I have to either go into settings and select again or just the Auto value and it will find. in other smart phones, it gives generally than an alert, but as soon as I'm in a coverage area, it captures the network on its own without having to go into the settings. so is this normal behavior?

  • Excursion to Smartphones blackBerry dropped in the water...

Hey, I dropped my blackberry tour in the toilet for a few seconds, took the battery and separated dried both. When I got home, about two hours later, I put my phone in rice dry and it has been sitting for about two days. I took the lead by about a day and tried to start up my phone. my phone at all turns. It is completely fried? could it be just the battery? but my phone was also almost at low battery when I dropped it in the toilet. What should I do?

Give him a full five days IN rice and no more check it out to see if it works.

Yes, you could have fried, but maybe not. After five days, the device connected to a cable from charger from wall outlet and then replace the battery. Less than 10 minutes, you will know whether or not it is fried.

    Good luck!

  • Smartphones blackBerry PIN to the United States since the France

I will be going to France in September and buy a BlackBerry and the service and wanted to know if I'd be able to another BB PIN of France? Going to cost me something? It cost the receiver anything, if the receiver of the PIN is in the United States?

E-mail pine is part of the sender, and BlackBerry package of the receiver of data. Several carriers have unlimited data plans, so in essence it is 'free' yet you pay a single monthly price for the data plan, which includes unlimited messaging of pine.

Now, if you have a capped package, say 50 MB of data for monthly and you go on this amount, in theory, you could have to pay more.

So it depends. But in most cases, no, you will pay more.

You can PIN message all over the world for no additional or international fees. None.

  • How can smartphones blackBerry I change the color of the font of the messages?

    Hello all,.

I'm severely lost when it Blackberry Storm to my CEO so please bear with me.

When he sends e-mail messages to the people, the text appears in blue.  So far I've seen emails in an Outlook 2003 client interface, so I'm not sure if what is happening in other e-mail clients.

I read virtually all "options" or "settings" category, I have found (and there is more than I can shake a stick at) and could not find anything related to e-mail fonts or font colors.

Any help is greatly appreciated, as I'm seriously out of my League with this device.  Also, if there is additional information, I could add to help you help me please ask.

    Best, Jack

All BlackBerry ONLY send messages in plain text, no HTML formatting (unless your fowarding an HTML previously received by e-mail). Blue is the color that BlackBerry use ON the response of type to indicate that you are in a response to the e-mail.

And what you see in Outlook can be affected by your own Outlook settings, but has no importance.

The email sent was the plain text, with no formatting.

    4. go into c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."

  • BlackBerry 9000 "BOLD" Smartphones constantly disconnecting from the network.

Had my BB "BOLD" for 5 days and each time I go out, the phone loses its network connection. If I go to "manage connections" and select "Mobile network", turn it off, then turn it back on, the connection is re-established. Similarly, if I turn off the phone and then turn it on again, the connection comes back. This problem effectively makes the phone useless and I have no idea how to solve this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Value phone 2G only. This solves the problem!  Thanks for your help. Awesome!
