• Help of Smartphones blackBerry ringtones download

  Hello.  I bought the storm yesterday.  My carrier is Verizon.  I went on the BlackBerry 101 on the site last night and he said to go in the media, then under the ringtones option there, choose "download ringtones" in the menu.  I tried which... but this option does not exsit in my menu.  Then... How and where can I go to download ringtones on my Storm?  Mobile.BlackBerry.com tells me to download the same way.

  You are right to not see this option - blackberry manuals can be very ambiguious due to the fact it operation of the 'general' device of overviews... not specific to the carrier verisons...

  If you want ringtones?  You can use your own music from your computer!  If you have installed the Blackberry from your Inbox user Tools CD, you will see that, in BB, Bishop Office is an icon called Media Manager.  If you go here, you will see you can drag "/" drop "the files in a folder pre-designate ringtones on your memory card support.

  Better yet, there are programs out there in stores and on the web that allow to cut snippets of your songs and create your own ringtones!  As long as they are in a compatible format, you should have no problem...

  My apologies if this has been taken up, but I looked and did not find any mention of this particular problem. From today I can't get images to display in my e mails more. This has never been a problem before.  I would open an e mail and select 'Get images' and they would display. As of this morning when I choose "Get picture" I can see that it works as it's going to download but nothing ever happens. I can always open web pages and play music and video files and see pictures I have stored on the card of press.  Everything seems to work except the download photos is no longer in my e mail.

  I did not bring any changes to anything... at least not on purpose, I haven't done anything in the settings or options.

  Does anyone have an idea, what could be the cause when it worked without problem in the past?

  Any help would be appreciated.

  2 remove the battery with the unit and not plugges in what either. then turn on again.

  can anyone help, I got a replacement yesterday phone because my only other broke, Ive introduced my bbm emails etc but can't download app world. I tried to download facebook separately that a TI still doesn't load, I had this problem with my last bb that I had replaced, but it seemed to work after 24 hours a fine.

  Running Windows 7 ultimate and IE 8, I tried to download Blackberry Protect. I had the browser plug-in with a green check mark and selected the n series (whence it, I forgot) and get a second check. the Tower phone screen displays icons of phone and your PC with two arrows between. Nothing happens until the page finally expires. That's the good news! the bad news is that the second step IE8 repeatedly crashed.

  I just installed SP2 (very slow!) and IE9 with the same results. It seems that software RIM is not compatible with MS or MS software is not compatible with the rims. Any suggestions? Looks like a good app. Any suggestions?

  Try to your phone's browser to www.blackberry.com/protect and download OTA.

  In this way, Windows may not engage at all.

  (And this isn't a good app, it is an INTERESTING application!)

  I recently upgraded to a Curve 8530.  I like it, except for the fact that I have a hard time trying to figure out how to get the things I download in the right place.  For example, I downloaded 2 ringtones and they appear in my music file.  How can I bring in my ringtone file?  Same way for an app from Weather.Com I want to get the weather file.

  Open your media icon > Menu button > Explore > navigate to the ringtone in your music folder, highlight it and press the Meny > move. Navigate to the root folder and down to the ringtones folder and when you arrive IN the ringtones folder > press menu > select here.

  If you have downloaded and installed the app from Weather.com, is in the Downloads folder? Highlight the icon so that it is put highlight, then press Menu > move to folder, and then select the folder in which you want only it.

  Before you download a theme, first go to Options > display > home screen Preferences> check your download folder (his House or something different like media, application, instant messaging, or anything else) you should keep it HOME , then CLICK on to the home screen panels > Manage panels ( make sure everything is marked ). Then take a test.

  Fix... Light moves changed the volume, more heavy taps advance to the next song.

  Just thought I would answer my own question that I'm going through my history. Looks like fixed BB download page to be 7.0 finally. Funny as it is difficult to actually contact someone on the EDGE.

  I have a BB8300 with a 4GB MicroSD card and after reading all the problems associated with music, I understand the best way is to activate mass storage, close all programs BB on computer and add to that the music sub-folder Blackberry/music my question is should I put subfolders for each album or simply place the music by individual tracks?   If you want to sort records in your blackberry, you must ensure that the information is in the ID3TAG of mp3 files. Creating folders will not help you (although it will be easier for you when you use Windows Explorer).

  Don't forget that you can also use iTunes to sync with the new "Blackberry Media Sync".
