Smartphones blackBerry reconnecting to jvm always fails

My curve 8520 has been perfectly well for almost 2 years now 3 days ago. He couldn't turn it on. It stuck on loading usually considered white bar when restart the device. I waited almost 5 hours hoping this loading ends and my bb started working, but unfortunately it didn't.

So I decided to reload the operating system. I used apploader since the last version of the DM. At first I thougt it will be fine coz my PIN is still detected by the charger. Unfortunately, there will be no phase ' reconnect to jvm. I got the message "impossible to connect to the device... try again. I tried to make this charge several times but always failed trying to reconnect to the jvm. Since then, every time I start up my bb, it still stuck on the white screen with "reload software 507" written on it.

I tried a lot of advice I read here and somewhere else looking simillarly for the problem I have. Here's what I've done so far.

-battery pull (billion times!)

-fees

-Remove the battery and waited 15 hours + then put it back

-used other batteries and other chargers (received from my friend)

-used another PC (tried on my pc win 7 64 bit and win xp my friend SP3)

-use another USB cable

-used all the available on the pc USB port

None of them worked!

-A person give to think I swip first my bb with BBSAK or Jl_cmder, but none of these tools has detected my bb.

-J' have also try to open Device Manager > USB > properties > power management > can I tick "allow these computer turns off to save energy" (read somewhere). But still does not.

-By reloading the os, I tried to connect to the bb from pc when the apploader tries to reconnect to the jvm and plug again immediately (also read somewhere). But in the end, I always massage "unable to connect... try again.

Now I'm here asking tips or maybe a solution to my problem. I live in a town very small in Indonesia and there is no blackberry here service center. That's why I try to understand this problem myself. This bb is the first thing I ever bought with my first salary so it is kinda memorable for me. I don't want to just throw away (I really hope not). Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks in advance

In fact, I tried to reload using DM and now I just did again. When the update process enter "reconnecting jvm" phase... error message occur "could not connect..."
I use the latest version of DM (7.x) and I followed the step of url you mention all own OS reload. Of (?) > resources > support tools > reset. But I couldn't understand how to reset because the button to reset not active

Hi Byakuya0007

It seems your device hit when connecting JVM or by updating the JAVA virtual machine. Please try this and see if it helps your device retrieve the current state:

    Information on blackBerry: 7.1 Bundle 1319 (v7.1.0.398, platform 9.49.0.31)

Hello and welcome to the community!

From what you describe, I assume the same problem... However, I also deduce that the problem is hardware (e.g., material of read/write of the physical card on the device) rather than software/OS. Therefore, there are material assessment and repair, which of course cannot be done internet remotely. I recommend you find a store (for you) with a qualified material BB technician and ask them to give you a correct assessment and estimate.

  • Volume of Smartphones blackBerry Media Player is always bent :(

    Hello

Use this Blackberry curve for a few months now and it has recently started to behave strangely.

Whenever a song starts (as at the beginning of the song, or after a break and re-enable) the volume is cranked. Because I listen to a lot of podcasts that are short, I can't put the headphones in my ears at all, or I could damage my eardrums.

Even if I lower the volume for next to nothing, if I pause and reactivate it, the volume is cranked.

Current settings: in the Media Options, I have the following parameters:

    Media:

    Audio Boost: Off

    Equalizer headphone: Off

I don't know what else to do. Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone have a reliable resolution to this problem?

    Thank you very much

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

Whenever random strange behaviors creep, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

A battery pull your problem - no.

My phone has been abandoned.  It does not restart.  He's stuck in the screen of screen/white red/black with hourglass cycle.  I tried to reload the operating system by the Apploader.  I deleted the vendor.xml file.  I used the command prompt type c:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research in Motion\Apploader\Loader \nojvm.  Apploader program start and I make sure to hit then ' PIN: unknown ", the process starts, and is not the same point every time, however, when I reached the point where it is written"reconnecting to jvm"during"waiting for device initialization"I get many times the message error"Application Loader could not reconnect with your device please. Reconnect your device, enter the password if necessary and click Retry."  I downloaded the latest version of DM and deleted the program and installed version on my original CD as suggested by another Web page.  None of this worked and I tried the same process over 10 times.    Are there any other step I'm missing?  My BB is dead and goes right through the cycle of rebooting as described above

After several attempts, I found this webpage http://forums.crackberry.com/f3/how-wipe-jl_cmder-53502/ and wiped my blackberry and used the DM application loader to reload my OS.  I did see the error message 507 reloading software before doing this.  My BB is back, but I must say it took my hours of searching and finally the jl_cmder worked and solved my problem of device connection!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones error 507 & problem while reconnecting to JVM

I bought a used Blackberry 9000 "BOLD" on the Internet and strives to update to OS 4.x for OS 5. I downloaded the Blackberry Desktop Software, saved everything to implement and tried to update. But there is no upgrade available for the current module, so I did a quick search and found that I can install the latest version via the Application Loader that needs to delete the vendor.xml file to install.

I was upgrading the steps in the software, checked the applications, I needed and let software install upgrades for me, but unfortunately the process stuck at "reconnecting to JVM.

After that, when I start the system, it displays ' Reload Software: 507 ", which means there is no operating system not installed in BB. I tried to reinstall either Application Loader and Blackberry Desktop Software, but every time I try it is still blocked to "Reconnect to JVM", and in some cases, the device does not start but shows the red light on the BB.

I searched in the Internet see if there are people with the same problem, and none of them works. So I decided to post my question here.

    Here's the method I've tried:

    1. Upgrade via the Application Loader-> stuck at "reconnecting to JVM.
-Also tried to upgrade without battery-> Stuck at "reconnecting to JVM.
    2. Upgrade via BB Desktop Software-> stuck at "reconnecting to JVM.
-Also tried to upgrade without battery-> the same result
    3. Wipe the machine with JL_Cmdr-> "could not find the device, is connected to the computer?
    4. Wipe the machine with BBSAK-> "No device detected, press OK to continue.

I am urged to find the solution, or should I buy a latest Internet module

Hello and welcome to the community!

    brunostyle wrote:

This bit is quite unusual... done correctly, you can force any OS on your BB package as long as it's your exact model number. So I'm not sure if you're really using all the good stuff... so, even if a lot of this will be redundant, please examine carefully for subtle tricks do you need to... done correctly, this can heal the situation. But any errors on the way (not ignored, stage not completed correctly, etc.) invalidates the whole process and translates the automatic process of support and limited to only the OS packages currently supported by your specific carrier.

The easiest way is, on a PC (you can not do on MAC):

    (1) make sure that you have a current backup and your BB complete... you can find the instructions at the link in my auto-sig below.

    2) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

    (3) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

    (4) download and install on your computer, the BB OS package you want:

    • If all you want are the levels of BONE, it is first sorted by carrier - the carrier supports, your search will be fast. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To really get the package up-to-date OS for your BB, you need to dig through and find all businesses that support your specific model BB and then compare the BONE levels they support.

    5) remove all copies of the SELLER on your PC. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

6 (a) to change your level of BB OS installed (at level or lower), you can run the Desktop software and connect your BB... the software should offer the operating system package you have installed on your PC.

6 (b) or, for recharging your BB OS level installed as well to change, work around the Desktop software and use the CHARGER. EXE directly, through step 2 in this process:

If, during the process of 6a or 6 b, your BB has an error '507', simply unplug the USB of the BB cord and reinsert it. do nothing else... This should allow the installation to continue.

You can also study the use of BBSAK (bbsak.org) to perform the wipe what he is capable.

You can also try the "skeleton OS Reload procedure" in an attempt to circumscribe the precise causal element:

    1. Load your OS "bare bones"... If everything is optional, do not install it.
    2. If the behavior is immediately, then try another OS with step 1
    3. If the behavior does not immediately, then run for as long as necessary to make you to be sure that the behavior will not occur.
    4. Add one more thing - no matter how tempting, one.
    5. If the behavior does not immediately present, and then runs for long enough to be sure he won't have the same problem
    6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until all things are responsible or the behavior presents

When the behavior shows up, you know the culprit... the last thing you have loaded.

If the behavior doesn't re-present, then you know that step 1 or 2 cured it.

If the behavior has anything, then you have probably a problem of material level for which no amount of OS or software can heal.

You may also use these tips:

If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

My phone is double my staff and my work cell, so I desperately need! I saw another thread to a kind of cloth for her but I did not know if it works for me, and also I need to redownload OS.

Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you!

Hello and welcome to the community!

Unfortunately, "it no longer works" gives us nothing to do, so we must guess. A description of exactly what happens when you make a suitable battery pop reboot would be much more useful.

However, to reload your operating system...

At the top of each forum device, there should be some 'sticky' threads dealing with the level of the OS available for each model. Please use those as a reference as you go along.

From a PC, you can install any compatible OS package (for example, for your BB model exact number) of a BB via this procedure:

Note Although written to "recharge" and the storm, it can be used to upgrade, downgrade or recharge any BB device model - depends on the operating system package you download and install on your PC. You can even use a different OS package carriers simply insert, between steps 1 and 2, the deletion, on your PC, a file named PROVIDER. XML. remember that you remove from your PC, no matter what other packages devices OS BB as having more than one installed on the PC can cause conflicts with this procedure.

If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

Unfortunately, no phone has theft protection.  Among all the platforms of smartphone, BlackBerry remains the leader in security.  If you have BlackBerry Protect installed, the chances of someone else do your phone if you select features to protect immediately after the robbery are slim to none.  Even without protection installed, if you lock your phone with a password, person NOT be for that phone without entering the password.  There is no way around it, not even RIM can crack a password and have access to your phone.  Ten failed attempts and BAM, your phone has nothing left on it personnel.

  • Problem of storage Application Smartphones blackBerry (Curve 9380)

Guys am very frustrated about this problem...

all applications that I download are downloaded into the memory of the phone due to which my laptop starts slowing down due to lack of memory.

Please guys tell me how I can move my apps on memory (8 GB) card rather than saving on the phone memory.

    thnk you

Hello and welcome to the community!

The quick answer is that you can not... apps can reside in the AppMemory space, and the amount of AppMemory in each device is attached during the manufacturing process and can never set.

    The long answer is...

There are three types of potential memory on a BB: 1) application memory, the device memory) 2 and 3) Media/SD Card Memory.

Application memory - it is the most important; It is protected (not available to the user), dedicated and (fixed size) space as the destination for the installation of applications (more a few storage applications, overhead and other costs). You can't touch AppMemory. You cannot improve the maximum AppMemory that your BB has. It is what it is. Applications can install only here... There is no other choice.

The device memory - it is space on your BB you can touch these files, images, media, etc. In general, it is not very big, but it is available.

Memory card SD/Media- is what it says... your SD card to store files, media, photos, etc.. It can be as large as your BB OS can support... see this KB:

    • KB05461 Sizes of card MicroSD taken in charge by the BlackBerry device software

On some devices/OS levels, you can see 'Free file' (Options > status), I think this is equivalent to AppMemory. You can see on other devices, all the memory usage levels three (Options > memory). Here are some tips to use:

    • KB02843 What is the function of low memory manager on the BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB14320 How to maximize space and power battery life on the BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB14213 Call logs, SMS text and email messages are deleted from the BlackBerry smartphone

Finally, it is always important to correctly close applications when you are finished with them. Using the back or on the red button won't do that - those leave the app to decide what to do... and some let themselves memory-resident, consumes resources on your BB, slowing down the overall performance. On the contrary, to close an application, tap on and select 'Close' or 'Quit'... which force the application to be closed, freeing resources for your new use it consumed. Some applications will always be running (in general - BBMessenger, browser, homescreen, phone and Messages)... but, you should always close them properly - especially the browser... If we leave on a web page, it will not consume only additional resources, but the power of the battery as well.

In addition, each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. Some have taken to do this on a regular basis as a preventive measure... some as often as once a day. Others got the app QuickPull to automate a simulated Batt Pull.

    Good luck!
