Smartphones blackBerry sync error

Sync error: CRRecurring! : RecurringDates value: start date is invalid. I re BB set, removed the battery, removed the SIm card, desk top software uninstalled, reinstalled, deleted all the dates of reoccruing on my outlook software and get always this error, synchronization of contacts, tasks and memos works! Help?

Well, what did not help, but I went into the phone and got as far as I could with the dates and I think I found the culprit... Thanks for your reply, rocks of BB, made synchronizes a couple and I have all the deleted recurring dates, thank you, all right, closed, cheers

    Running BBDM 1.0.4 on OS X 10.6.4 Verizon BB Tour (9630), OS 5.0.0.732.

    My synchronization objects on my Mac to my Tour through BBDM has been decent.  However, the last time I tried to sync my iCal calendars, I get the dialogue with the error text

    A sync error.

    Try the synchronization again.

    So I deleted the BB calendar, tried to sync again and got the same error.  Here's the relevant output of the log window:

    How many calendars are currently installed in ICAL?

    Also if you go to BlackBerry Desktop Software for the card and go to device > data backup.  It list calendar and calendar all in the selection?

    Also do you have any configuration of email on the BlackBerry accounts, to determine if the default schedule has changed?

    Try also to forget the device and try to configure the synchronization again, this is the device > forget device.

    I don't know if anyone out there found a solution to this problem. I was able successfully synchronize my calendar and the notes of my BB. When it comes to my contacts, it gives me an error at the end of the synchronization of contact process. When I compare my address book app to my bb contacts there are has some contacts missing on my BB but still visible in the address book. Any suggestions or thoughts on this issue?

    I found the solution to my problem! Apparently, the default desktop software search all contacts and groups but with no group in the address book on my mac it would give me the dreaded sync error. I created a group and called it the phone moved that all my contacts from phone him then connected my BB and Voila! No synchronization errors more. Hope this helps those who are facing the same problem.

    Given your situation, I recommend first this method... from a PC, you can install any bundle of BONES to a BB via this procedure:

    Note that although written for "reload", it can be used to upgrade, downgrade, or recharge - it depends on the OS package you download and install on your PC. You can even use a different OS package carriers simply insert, between steps 1 and 2, the deletion, on your PC, a file named PROVIDER. XML. remember that you remove from your PC, no matter what other packages devices OS BB as having more than one installed on the PC can cause conflicts with this procedure.

    If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

    It is possible that may still fail and you will need a more radical WIPE and RELOAD method available via these tools:

    Please refer to this Knowledge Base, in addition, you will need to check your address book for any image of empty contact, if you find a few contact without images then add any image to these contacts OR if you have added an image to a few contacts and then try to remove these images and restart the synchronization process :

    Or head to this thread cleanly "Starting Over" with (non - BES) Desktop software and start all over again or in this thread on poster #15 there is a link to an older version of BlackBerry Desktop Software, download version 6.1 , it has help many user that I know of this error.

    I recently had to restore an old image of windows (to correct a bad driver file).  After that, the synchronization with Outlook from my Blackberry has stopped working.  I uninstalled and reinstalled the desktop software.  I tried to reset the settings and tried to restore to a date before the problem.  However, whenever I try to sync between the Blackberry (Bold 9780) a copy of my PC from Microsoft Outlook, I get a pop up window that says "Intellisync - reported of unknown error."

    Any ideas what to try next?

    I would suggest following an own uninstaller for BlackBerry Desktop software since you shouldn't be quick to the MSI file.

  • Error of DM of Smartphones blackBerry sync with laptop computer

    I posted this on the forum of the storm, but realize he probably should have gone on this forum, as you'll see below I tried everything to get my laptop to synchronize with the storm, but it blocks every time during the initial synchronization. V5 tried unsuccessfully again last night.

    Suggestions... currently a paying for a phone (for three months) which is unusable!

    I recently had my Storm repair back only to find out that all my contacts were deleted. I had a problem before the repair is trying to synchronize using the Desktop Manager when it crashed every time when trying to sync. I tried several times to uninstall and reinstall/repair current DM software, also tried to remove the RIM etc but DM files crashes whenever I try to sync. Any ideas? Windows XP with the latest drivers/software.

    Sorry to repost this, but it makes me crazy, I have tried everything to try and get my Storm to synchronize with my laptop and Outlook. Tried to reload, repair, uninstall, reinstall, with Norton, without Norton, deleted the registry files, deleted new registry files and anything at all mention Blackberry RIM etc etc been at it now for more than a week!

    This phone is completely usless to me since I can't synchronize to retrieve my contacts. I think I have a virus on my laptop but everything else works fine, conducted the audit of the register and the comprehensive analysis of the system several times to see if he had any problem but nothing ever came. The Director of office work and synchronized without problem... I would rather the Chuck this phone far than having to manually re my contacts. I called my provider and they can not help, I really don't want to have all re install my laptop OS just on the off chance that it is perhaps the only thing that could get the DM to work again!

    Seriously an iphone and the more stable Mac platform!

    With respect to the reloading of the software on the laptop, I'm not too sure that any computer laptop is a little different.  In addition, I can't suggest that you do this, but only that it turns out that the issue is not device or Desktop Manager related but more a problem with the laptop.  Have you considered calling the seller of your laptop for some tips or tricks on this?  Have you thought about putting your Outlook information on another computer in the meantime, so you have at least your rear sync?

    A 507 error means that there is no OS on your device... so you can do nothing about it, since there is no OS to run it. But, it can be retrieved. The easiest way is, on a PC (you can not do on MAC):

    (1) make sure that you have a current backup and your BB complete... you can find the instructions at the link in my auto-sig below.

    2) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

    (3) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

    (4) download and install on your computer, the BB OS package you want:

    • http://us.BlackBerry.com/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
    • If all you want are the levels of BONE, it is first sorted by carrier - the carrier supports, your search will be fast. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To really get the package up-to-date OS for your BB, you need to dig through and find all businesses that support your specific model BB and then compare the BONE levels they support.

    5) remove all copies of the SELLER on your PC. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

    Now go forward with the use of these tips (if all you ask to use a site update, replace it please the Desktop software installed on it):

    This article essentially sets out to save a dll file by following these instructions:

    Close the BlackBerry Desktop Manager

    Windows XP: go to start, run and type CMD

    Windows Vista - go to start, programs, accessories, click with the right button on command prompt and select run as administrator

    In the command line window, type the following:

    CD "\Program Files\Research in Motion\BlackBerry\IS71 Connectors\Yahoo connector"

    regsvr32 DCSXlator.dll

    Try to synchronize again.

    If you can choose from Yahoo, but have synchronization problems, please give more details including measures you take to synchronize, you get error messages, etc.

    (1) make sure that you have Blackberry Desktop Manager installed.

    (2) on your PC, go to start > run and copy and paste the following line exactly (i.e. with quotation marks):

    (3) the Application Loader Wizard will appear - click on "next".

    (4) in the ' connection: ' drop-down menu, you should see "USB - PIN: UNKNOWN". Click on the button "next".

    (5) you should see a list of applications ready to be installed for your Blackberry. Press Next and finish, and that you are well on your way to get your Blackberry to life. Congratulations! Just unplug and let the process finish completely.

    NOTE: If you do not display the list of applications mentioned in step 5 and instead to see the message "the Blackberry Desktop Software has no Blackberry Device Software for the device you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator', then you must download the Blackberry operating system for your support and your device.
