  Then I noticed that Finder shows only most original snapshots while in the Terminal, I see all snapshots using the ls command. All snapshots have the same names in fashion and the owner/group permissions. So, why don't Finder shows all snapshots and why is Time Machine unhappy?

  Given that I can't modify my own * post, here are the corrections and updates of the original:

  Then, I thought that the Finder was confused somehow. I turned off Time machine and ejected from the USB drive. When I plugged back it it, of course now Finder shows all snapshots. The tmutil listbackups command confirms also all snapshots. I started a new backup, but it has not yet.

• Snapshot, Naming Convention

  Is it possible to change the snapshots naming convention?

  Work on a shared storage system uses NTFS on the back end so "/" is a character not consistent therefore generate snapshots fail.

  Not as far as I know. You should certainly file a feature request for this because by default immediately uses the date/time stamp, which really should not use the /.

  Hello.

  I recently updated my laptop from Windows Vista to Windows 7 Ultimate (32 bit).
  When I did, I went through the typical rigmarole of updating my drivers and reinstall some programs or games lost. What I wasn't expecting, it was for my camera to completely stop working.

  I reinstalled the software of the camera, and it seemed to work until I tried to take a snapshot with the software after that. Now, the camera records video and audio recording, but it will not instant (I mainly use for).

  If I click on the Snapshot button, she acts like I clicked it, but no preview image and no new photos are saved in the folder my pictures.

  Any ideas? Or advice? Or help? Thank you!

  I have a laptop named above, even if it is true that I'm not sure one.
  I was wondering if it was possible to use the webcam that is built in, to take the snapshot photographs.

  I tried using Windows Movie Maker, it did not work and I am unable to use the webcam unless I'm in a video conversation but it doesn't seem to be a way to access "on its own" so to speak.

  Of course, you can use the built in webcam outside a video chat tool.
  Software of the webcam should usually preinstalled on your laptop.
  You should find it in all programs-> Toshiba

  Starting the software for the webcam, a webcam control bar should appear.
  This bar is movable, so it could appear in the top, left, right or bottom of the screen box, but this will not be visible unless you move the cursor over this area.

  Is it just me, or has the possibility to create new project Snapshots disappeared in 10.2.3?  Before the upgrade might create duplicate projects and snapshots, but now I can only create duplicates.  What happened to snapshots?  I trashed the prefs etc but still no sign of snapshots.

  I have problems when you try to manually delete snapshots of our ReadyNAS. The error is displayed when it fails is 28004020002. After a search through your forums it seems most of the time you ask newspapers, and then it seems that the problem is solved. So if need be I have newspapers available on request.

  One of the suggestions also says try a defrag on the device and that pops up and displays a different error message: 14007010000. I don't know if that is related, but I have not dug deep in this one I would like to help with the first issue first please

  Hi, I have the latest OS on my NAS and active for daily snapshots of several actions. None of them work; I deactivated and activated snapshots again but with the same result. Trying to create a manual snapshot I received the message: snapshot has failed. 28003020000 error in the creation of a new snapshot

  Volumes > 16TB are not yet supported on the 104 (support happens to 6.4 - not yet available). And before 6.4 snapshots do not work with volumes > 16TB on 32 - bit systems. This is why your shots do not work.

  It will work to 6.4, but you must create a volume on it fresh as your would have already damaged.

• Snapshots ReadyNAS deleted his content folder

  I use a RN31400 ReadyNAS with 10.7 TB of storage and have multiple actions that are underway in the snapshots. I found out today that one of the snapshot files has been deleted and its contents; the other records of the snapshot are not affected. When I try to create a manual snapshot on the part of the problem, I get an error message 'Unable to create snapshot xxx to share or LUN 'yyy' ' 28003020000. I am able to do manual snapshots of my other actions without problem. No news automatic snapshots are taken either for sharing this. It worked fine for the last 2 years.

  Recently, I had to delete some files in logs in/var/log as root was almost at full capacity and not sure if this could cause problems. We also have firmware version 6.4.0 day last week.

  So my questions are:

  Is there a way to restore the deleted content of the snapshots folder?

  How can I get the ReadyNAS to resume automatic backups for sharing this?

  Mysteriously, the configuration for sharing this file was empty. I have repopulated the config for it file and then the SIN has been revived and now seems to work very well.

  Here are the shots that have not been successfully upgraded when you updated of the pre - 6.2.x 6.2.x firmware (or later).

  You could do

  # touch .force_snapshots_upgrade
  
  # systemctl restart readynasd

  These shots should then be upgraded and you can then delete the admin web UI.

  The space is recovered only when you delete pictures if the snapshots that you delete contains the only copy of certain data. If the current data or snapshots that you do not delete also contain spatial data not to be released to the top. Also, when you delete snapshots that the system will have to recursively update other snapshots. It can take some time if you have many snapshots.

  Once you have removed all the clichés that you want and the use of volume of less than 80% return, I would say that you then run a balance.

• 'Fun' with snapshots do not delete

  Hey everone I am clearly again and I tried to post not unless I really need help. Here's my situation. I spend 4 Bay NAS Bay 6 316 (really like it so far... if I could only utorrent works... but that's another post). I ran out of space during the transfer since I'm going to get readers I move data. 900 GB of data I previously had on the readyNAS is no longer necessary since I can get it easily once again, but the 2 TB of data, I always left to transfer is not as lucky. Initially, I had deleted the data and then I found that there not of importance because the snapshots. So I just straight up and deleted the thought of any part without the part it would be not instant (since the shots were inside the shared folder), but that doesn't seem to do anything. So I tried to recreate the folder I deleted the hope I could regain access to snapshots but now I don't know where to remove them and it takes almost an additional TB I have to finish my transfer.

  I found myself scouring (I couldn't balance and at the same time rub) it wrong all by, but at the moment where I knew the space was back. In the end, I guess it was a waiting game. I guess that the snapshots have a fixed expiration date

• After removing all snapshots, cannot access shares

  Recently, I noticed that my SIN was not always full despite regularly delete data to free up space. I discovered that the snapshot took all the space, I consiquently delete all snapshots, but the assosiated folder is now gone. I can see the NAS shows again the data are on the NAS, but I can't seem to access if Windows or page of the interface.

  You would have certainly got a popup that requires typing something to confirm that you wanted to delete the share. It is a protection device against accidental deletion of the shares.
