  Can someone help with the following problem

  I did a V23, Multifolio Viewer with iTunes subscription.

  Folio articles are all unprotected

  Social sharing via Twitter and active E-mail

  Link is displayed in the email, but then the browser page remains empty

  I forgot everything first allow the Web content viewer in my Office Admin DPS / account management. Stupid...

  

• No Social sharing for articles PDF?

  , I was reading the Social sharing workflow doc and he says articles PDF are not compatible with Social sharing right now. It's kind of ridiculous when everywhere else you read how it is advisable to publish in PDF format (like here: http://blogs.adobe.com/indesigndocs/2012/03/guidelines-for-creating-folios-for-ipad-3.html).

  Is someone can please tell me that I am wrong and that you pouvez use a sharing Social with PDF? I have already downloaded two folios worth articles (two renditions: 768 x 1024 and 1536 x 2048) and I really don't want to have to re - download...

  Articles PDF don't work well in the Web Viewer. At the moment (pre - v23), the best approach is to create a 1024 x 768 JPG or PNG rendering, which works well in the Web Viewer and create a PDF rendering for iPad HD. With the next version, the plan is to convert PDF to PNG items automatically when they are uploaded to the Web Viewer, you can use PDF for all items.

• Adding (and test) social sharing - live app

  We have a direct application to which our customers want social sharing to be added. We can rebuild the application without problem, however, I wonder if there is a way to live content currently 'Free' so that we can test the functionality, without the current users of the application being invited to download the updated content (because it will not actually be changed)? Folios we have direct at the moment are all resolved 'protected '.

  You can create a test application with a test of applications account. Publish the folio on account of the application and test from there. Else update the existing live app application account ask for the update anyway, there is no other way.

• Creation of bookmarks and social sharing

  I am trying to know what version of DPS, you must turn on bookmarks and social sharing? We currently have a single edition and I think I've read somewhere that you can only activate these features in a multi-folio, but want to double check that I can't find the source, I read that as. Thank you.

  That is right. Publishers Professional and Enterprise can enable Favorites and social sharing in applications multi-folio.

• Urgent question about V23 and social sharing

  We publish our first series of questions using the viewer V23. Social, sharing, which worked well in previous numbers across all associated formats, now only works with the iPad made a SD (768 x 1024). HD (2048 x 1536) rendering returns the link to the default URL instead of the online content viewer. Everything is implemented as before except for the fact that the two fact sheets were published in PDF format.

  I took just to watch closer documentation and wonder if I should not only protected items in rendering SD, leaving the protected HD articles. The documentation seems to indicate this, but we have always protected the two renditions before and everything worked fine.

  What Miss me? We are on deadline and need to push another set of "renditions" is out today. Thanks to everyone in advance for any help.

  We had a small glitch this week and Social treatment has failed. We have fixed the problem and fix the issues involved including your was a.

  Your should be fixed now. You should be able to only publish PDF issues no problem, so no need for the PNG version.

  If anyone reading this has the same problem. The issues concerned should be fixed by EOD today. The other way to fix it is to simply "Update" the problem in Folio Producer since we deployed a solution of production.

• Social sharing and device orientation

  Is it possible to let the social sharing feature of Sprint 20 share not only the folio but keep in mind the orientation of the device?

  Currently the landscape view is presented first. Even users who share the point of view of portrait eventually share the view of landscape first. As the content may be completely different between landscape and portrait or landscape can be an icon 'rotation '. It's just confusing (at least with our test panel).

  It could be that I missed a setting but I can just find a way to lock sharing in 'Show all first portrait', or better yet - to show what the drive shared (passing on the orientation of the device).

  It is true, that we do not account to what direction a folio has been shared at.

  Social sharing is a reason any is not available inside our app.  I went through all project settings to make sure that everything was allowed...

  Test yourself on a preflight application? If so, create a new application control upstream, and it should work.

  We have a customer magazine that we publish on the phone like a .article by liberation, as it suits better the range of phone screens (as opposed to an Indesign with different sizes of small screen)

  Sharing is a feature of iOS, activated at the level of the project.

  Sharing comes from the article which is read.

  Article = an action. It is not the HTML here, it is the structure of your content in 2015 of DPS.

  Yes, you can use the embed for all code and insert into the pages or use the built-in.

  There is little available in musewidgets.com that can be used.

  Our Adobe DPS a social application sharing enabled. The individual sheets can be shared on only the whole articles?

  I'm not aware of a way to specify a page number in the scenes. You could add the suffix to the page number to the URL manually when you use copy link to paste the sharing link to a web page or when you send e-mail. But I don't think it's possible to make links to social media like Facebook and Twitter. Here is an example of a common bond that starts on the third page of the article:

• Activate the social sharing for DPS APP company

  Hello

  My client is trying to use social sharing feature (part of the article on someone's facebook wall) in the application of business for some reason any. I tried to build the iOS app to the APP generator business and social sharing feature didn't work at all (the error message: unable to share.) Sorry, this article is not available for sharing).  I think maybe the APP business is for internal use and not able to share any content outside the company.   We do not screen shots of items when you share. We share the actual article as it was published. If you take a photo using the camera and then API share this article, the picture of the camera will NOT be included.

  You have configured your web viewer applications account in account management tool in the DPS dashboard?

  Also check access parameters section control what items a player can display in the DPS Folio producer Editor.

• Social sharing links work only not in v26

  We recently rebuilt our app for iPad only v25, v26 with Universal for the web viewer. In our version, v25, our social sharing has been installed and worked perfectly. For some reason, now that we have the v26 version, all our sharing links go to our redirect URL only.

I rechecked and social sharing is enabled in the App generator and Admin account in the box. We use WoodWing publishing so everything is and was not protected by default.
