• How to do the portrait of circle

  Hi guys,.

  Could you please help to make the portrait of circle? I followed all of the videos that I could find on YouTube, but when it comes to delete what outside the circle on my MAC it's just does not perform this function.   I don't know what you mean by a portrait of circle. If it's a portrait that is bounded by a circle or ellipse try this.

  If it's a portrait done circles and then return

  1. open an image

  2. click on the elliptical selection tool

  

  3. use the mouse to click and drag a circle (or ellipse) on your image

  

  5. go in the Menu select, and choose the command selection - modify-feather and type a value for the radish. It's the softness of the edge

  I use 100

  

  4. use the combination of keys Shift + Ctrl + I to invert the selection (Shift + Cmd + I on the MAC)

  

  5. go to the layer menu and click on layer - new fill layer - solid color

  6. press OK and a dialog opens asking you to select the color of the skin. I use white:

  

  Press OK. You now have a new layer above your white filled photo (or your chosen color) and allowing the underlying to show layer mask

  

  Result:

  

  Note: You can adjust the mask of paint on it with the Brush tool, you can change the color of the skin by clicking on the layer, and the color picker will be re-opened

• Function callback in a control of the brush

  Most of my photo editing is done in Lightroom, I still use CS5 Extended to specific tasks to my occasional Photoshop.

  
  

  When I bring a photo in PS, one of my favorite keyboard shortcuts has been pressing the command and Option set to adjust the brush size and hardness. By moving my trackball to the left or right, I can control the size of the brush; by moving upwards or downwards, I can control the softness of the edges brush. Very convenient!

  However, as I went to Yosemite, by Apple's current operating system, the brush no longer has any color. It was red, which makes it easy to see the size and smoothness of the edge of the brush. Now I see a transparent circle, which gives me the General size of the brush, but not simulate the sharpness or softness of the edge.

  I spent the time looking at the preferences of Photoshop, but I could not find an arrangement that would restore the color to this shortcut of brush. I hope that it is possible to bring it back; It is very useful. I would be happy to know ways to do it. Thank you very much!

  There are a number of things to check:

  1. go into Photoshop > Preferences > Performance and verify that enable OpenGL drawing is checked

  2. go into Photoshop > preferences > cursors and check that the brush Preview > color is set to Red (RGB 255,0,0)

  
  

  Do you have you upgrade your old os x to Yosemite with photoshop cs5 already installed or is this a new computer and a new installation of photoshop cs5?

• expand and soften the shortcut of brush

  I work in Photoshop on a Wacom cintiq. I just discovered a feature where I can push the control option and drag my pen left and right to increase or decrease the size of my brush and it up and down to change the soft too hard edge on the brush. It's much faster for me then using the keys of support. But I'm a lefty so I would change the keys of control to the command option option, I can push the keys with my free right. Is it possible to do this in Photoshop. I couldn't find where in the edit keyboard shortcuts Panel. I found where to change the brackets for example but not this feature of landslide.

  You can perform the equivalent of clicking the right button of the mouse with your stylus?

  If so, you can combine the single Option key with a right mouse button click.

• need help with the brush to fill the tool in photoshop cs5 on windows7

  I recently got Photoshop CS5 and am currently using the trial version on Windows 7, its my first program Photoshop, and the first time the Wwindows 7, before that I used Jasc Paintshop and Windows Vista... so I'm kinda new to things.

  
  

  ON QUESTION! As an artist, I use many similar colors on the same layer and the use of am to use the Brush tool to join a specific domain in a new color and the pipette filling/paint bucket to fill the area. However, with cs5, I am having a serious question... I can't get any type of brush to have a solid edge to allow easy to fill with a fill tool, Brush tool still has a soft/semi translucent edge on that.  I tried to reorganize the different brush setting, using brush types, different sizes and options of the fill tool and I am unable to solve the problem.

  
  

  No matter what I try, I can't brush to make a single solid line that can fill the bucket to fill on tolerance 1.  I can't seem up tolerance on the fill tool, because many of the color palettes that I use on a layer are incredibly close and cancel the other colors, I want not filled.  Also, I can't click 'fill' several times when the option that I noticed, that develops outwards beyond the encircled area I try to fill, a few pixels at a time.

  
  

  I can't find a way to effectively brush to fill the tool without it leaving some empty or go outside the area I want to be filled, any help would be greatly appreciated.  If I can't find a way beyond this, because it is my main technique, I will most likely return program.

• Edge DMP 340 in the sleep or soft mode

  Is there information available on what could cause a 340 edge to enter sleep or soft off mode and how to recover, short of power cycling?

  Wake on LAN should get out "sleep" mode.  It must be enabled on the DPM Edge 340.

  Take a look at the bug below.  It does not reference mode 'sleep', but there is no reference to any output.

• Edge soft accidents animate every minute or so. Help, please

  I'm working on the CC on my work PC Windows 7 64 bit and when I try to use Edge animate soft crashes every minute or two. I get the "program does not" and then it will appear in the back for a minute and repeat.  I don't have this problem on my home computer and I use the same O.S. Would this have anything to do with possible filters that are on my work network. They have a lot of them. But I'm able to use other products in the subscription without any problem. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

• How to create a uniform gradient w / Soft Edge & filter

  

  Hello, Im using photoshop 6 and Im trying to apply an effect to a photo of the banner, which will be compatible for more pictures of the banner of the same size.

  I have attached a picture of this.

  
  As you can see the gradient (which contains the text) starts with a gray and then white. The right edge that meets the blue sky is not a hard edge but rather a soft edge.

  
  I'm not sure how to create that soft edge. Someone else had mentioned to use the gradient with colors of gray to white then to transparent to create this right edge soft.  I'm not sure how to implement that.

  I used a brush in this case, and as you can see, the line is uneven.

  
  Also, I think that the filter used here is ripple or Ocean Ripple.

  Yes flattening of transparency is the right thing, but it should be automatic anyway when you put them.

  But those who put the option put should check first.

• Creating a soft on the bottom edge and border square on top of my div

  I came across the following code to create rounded edges that works very well.

  Now I have the need to create a round border on the bottom of my div and a regular square border on top.

• Soft edging clone stamp tool brush size

  Hello!

  Is this what can I do to solve this frustrating problem:

  When I'm cloning with a sweet sharp clone brush, brush strokes will appear also outside the circle of the brush (because of the sweetness). Is it possible to make it work so that no pixel is never painted outside the circle of brush size? The current behavior cause me a headache because I do not see when I am too near an area that I don't want to paint on - I can't only quess when my circle of paint is too narrow and I seem to be quessing hurt constatnly, thus painting a few partially opaque pixels on the areas I didn't paint on at all.

  Any help will be greatly appreciated!

  Go to Edition-> Preferences-> cursors and select full brush size so that the brush circle encompasses the entire Brush Tip

• Sony F55 Hard case / Soft

  I just picked up this morning my case F55 of guys in the box and thought I'd share. It's wonderful - made really intelligently. The cut out for the camera fits the plate so the R5. Out of the shelf to the right and there is plenty of space for cables, handshaking etc. I highly recommend them if you need to box your camera safely.

  Can anyone recommend a more gentle/soft case for the 55 size edge? Ideally one that I can fit a laptop in also.

• No Edge 15 Broadcom 802.11ac none hosted network management and stability problems

  I have a new edge 15 that came with Windows 10 64-bit pre-installed. I want to be able to run the soft AP WiFi so I can connect to my wifi adapter.

  The WiFi card is a Broadcom 802.11ac and according to other computers using Dell with the same chip, but the Dell Windows 7 driver supports hosted network supports. But on my computer with the latest driver 7.35.267.0 dated 05/14/15, supported network hosted shows no., which means that the pilot and the chip does not support.

  It seems that it's a driver problem and hardware supports hosted networks.

  Also, sometimes when I turn on my computer, the WiFi does not detect the AP. It's the continuous offshore. I can get the connectivity by deactivation and reactivation of the interface. A pain. Not a big pain, but pain. Looks like the driver reload or turn on the radio after that sleep does not work properly.

  Can Lenovo if you please provide a stable driver for the Broadcom chip work.

  I ended up completely reinstall windows 10 and uses the stock drivers.

  No bloat ware lenovo. Works fine now.

• problems aligning ImageView and label

  I have a container with LayoutOrientation.LeftToRight guidance.

  Inside I just an ImageView and etiquette. When I try to organize their

  that the icon and the text display on the same line, I have problems.

  Here's how it looks by default (without any filler etc.):

  I think that all see you my problem. The picture starts to the right of the

  edge of the container (it is aligned with its upper part), so that there is a

  space between the label and the top edge of the container.

  I want the image and name appear seemingly on the same horizontal

  line. How can I achieve this?

  PS if I put the container topPadding to something, then the two components

  go down simultaneously and yet they will not appear on the same line.

  I think I found the solution by setting verticalAlignment: VerticalAlignment.Center
  to the ImageView for example.
