Soft PDF in FCPX?

I learned to work with a bunch of drawings black and white tech... who came to PDF (1224 x 792).  When I opened the stills with Adobe, they are very clean and neat on my Retina display, full screen.

When I import into FCPX... they are less clear and look as if there is more resolution.  I tried a HD and a 4K project.  Not a lot of difference.  The image is soft compared to the original open with Adobe Reader or preview.

I converted some in PNG before importation.  Same question.

I wonder if there is something I need to look for?

Or why this might be happening?

All ears,

B

A quick fix:

Try to open the documents in Acrobat format and make as large a possible and still maintain the sharpness.

Take a screenshot of it.

Which captures in FCP to screen and to see what it looks like (you need to maybe do some cultures or trim in FCP).

  • Formula for multiplcation and soft limit on Adobe PDF form

Hello, I am working on a form of PDF from Adobe and think I need a script customized to a worksheet. I have no experience of JavaScript at the moment and hope someone can help me with a formula so I can carry out a project. We have a table in a form that purports to calculate a discount. The field for the formula in question is a discount to a maximum of $4,000. The field calculates the number of blocks multiplied by $1,000 with a maximum refund of $4,000. How can I write a formula that returns the amount of the refund if it is less than $4,000 (for example, $1,000, $2,000 or $3,000) and displays only $4,000, if the amount of the refund is equal to or greater than $4,000? I hope it's understandable and please forgive my ignorance. Thank you!

Say that the other field is called "discounts". Use this code in the custom field discount calculation script:

    Event.Value = Math.min (4000, Number (this.getField("Rebate").value));

Really hard to say where I'm sitting. FCPX accidents are often related to bad media. Maybe in the case, I have a feeling they are trying to use too many PDF files in a library, but this isn't what I can prove it.

Open a backup copy of your project, from before your sequence crashing and see if it crashes. After the return. fans will have more questions for you. Patience.

No, you can't. iBooks does not read the fields to fill in a PDF file. You need a soft like Acrobat Reader from the App Store.

  • PDF file needs to be scanned on my desk

    Greetings,

I have a PDF file that is already created on my desktop. is there a way I can scan without having to print first and then analyze the printed version?

    Thanks for any help.

I have MacBook Pro OSX 10.8.5

    Appreciate any help.

    Warmly and gratefully.

    Hello

You already have a soft copy why do you need to start a new search? I can't work on the rationale. If you want to test your printer, you need to print and scan then because to be able to scan, you need something on the glass.

    Kind regards.

    Hi @GTR3,

Welcome to the Forum from HP Support.

I see that you are unable to print the PDF scanned documents with your HP Officejet Pro 8610 e-all-in-one printer. I would like to help.

You are able to print any other format PDF on the Mac, or the question is just limited to your scanned PDF files? Whether the soft friendly PDF work with - Adobe Reader or Foxit Reader?

In the meantime, I recommend you try the following steps:

    • Uninstall your printer - click here for instructions.
    • Fix permissions of the disc on your Mac - click here for instructions.
    • Once you have finished running the utility above, restart your computer.
    • Finally, click here to reinstall your printer.

Please let me know the result of your troubleshooting by responding to this post. If I helped you to solve the problem, feel free to give me a virtual h.o.t. by clicking the "Thumbs Up" icon below and by clicking to accept this solution.

Thanks for posting in the Forum from HP Support. Have a great day!

  • Changing files to PDF files

I'm changing a file to a PDF file. Can anyone help

    Hello

With OpenOffice, you can create PDF files and open many other types of files.

    OpenOffice - free
    http://www.OpenOffice.org/

    --------------------------------------------------

There are converters CEO however not sure how good here - don't forget to test on a copy of your file
and not the original. Some are Freeware:

    --------------------------------------------------

    Or:

You need a program that can write PDF files - here are some. Most of them are the links to FREE readers
However, you should associate writers to produce a PDF file.

Check with Support and or forums (Adobe has one) to see how to convert your file which may include
    Copy, paste and other methods.

  • Save the analysis in PDF format

I want to scan and save a document in pdf format. However, the Windows settings, Scan & Fax appear only to allow me to save in files such as JPEG picture, etc. I can't find a way to change the settings. Help please!

As Malke said... also, if your scanning software does not support scanning to PDF you may be interested in Scan to PDF software ofhttp://www.softi.co.uk/ (I recently evaluated this software for use of clients).   It works well but costs $29.99, there is a free 30-day trial.  I have not found a free or shareware equivalent that works reliably.

  • 3D - PDF export to STEP

Acrobat 9 Pro Extended allows the export of neutral geometry, IGES, STEP and STL formats. Since this flavor of Acrobat is abandoned, there's another available by Adobe solution for this? It seems that this capacity is no longer available. It seems that Acrobat Pro DC doesn't have this ability. Solutions or suggestions for me please. Thank you.

Hello Pietern, Jordan of Tech Soft 3D here. When Adobe moved to Acrobat 9 Pro Pro x, PDF 3D technology that has been integrated into the software was acquired by us, Tech Soft 3D. Tetra4D is the product range of end-user for the PDF technology 3D as a plugin for Adobe Acrobat XI Pro and Pro DC. In addition to reading more 20 native CAD formats, you can also export a handful of neutral formats, including those listed above.

You can download a free trial for all our products, including Acrobat Pro DC and find more information here. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me directly.

These warnings are not a problem for the export settings you use, not for CreateSpace so they can take the dynamic transparency.

  • Linked with overlays seems well on the PC when you export to PDF, but Mac horribly distorts the color?

I'm in a draft. File to HAVE it in my. INDD on PC and it is beautiful! I export the PDF file, send to my supervisor, who is on a Mac, and it seems like garbage!

    correct.jpg

    Beautiful, bright and beautiful!

    incorrect.jpg

I think this was shot in a dumpster...

What is going on?  When my supervisor tried to print it, he is always out like that, but when I print it, that's fine.

A little about the. : File is a gradient mesh with multiple layers of semi-transparent bunk reasons, "soft light."  The files are placed in the form of links in the InDesign file.  They have matching color profiles. I also tried with the link in case that is the question.  I am at a loss.

PS the quote above is not an indication of my feelings towards Adobe. It happened to be in the document, I'm trying.

I bet it is visualized in the Mac preview. Ask your boss to watch it in Acrobat or Reader.

  • File format not supported - to come when you select Create PDF on any document I try

    Hello

Im trying Adobe DC on mobile for our company, at present ive imported several different PDF to try to modify and add a signature.

    Hello

Be soft you?  Acrobat DC for iOS or Android?

For Acrobat DC for iOS, would you make sure you upgrade to the latest version 15.0.3 (as of April 30, 2015)?

For Acrobat DC for Android, you can choose "Comment" by the selector tool.

    1. Open a PDF document.
    2. Slide right between the left edge of your device, or tap the square blue clear in the upper left to open the tool selector.
    3. Select the comment.

Mobile products Acrobat DC (for iOS and Android) offer the basic functionality (such as the display of PDF documents, add comments, including a handwritten signature, filling in forms, search, printing, etc.) for free.

However, to convert images or photos (taken by your webcam iSight iPhone, for example) in PDF files, you will need to buy the subscription to the online "Adobe PDF package" service.

Once you subscribe to the service Adobe PDF Pack, you can use the camera to the PDF functionality in Acrobat DC for iOS.  (Note: the camera to the PDF functionality was not supported in Acrobat DC for Android yet.)

Currently, there is no trial version for all subscriptions to the following online service: 'Adobe PDF for export', 'Adobe PDF Pack', 'Adobe Acrobat DC.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

Other (fill & sign, eSign Manager) mobile applications themselves are free as well.  You can go to the Apple App Store (for iOS apps) or the game of Google (for Android applications) and install applications on your device.

To use the services of eSign, you can start a free trial.
