Soft Rim TrackPoint Cap leave trace on T400 screen

My original TrackPoint on my T400 wore out after almost two years of intensive use. Since it is now necessary to buy the Collection of TrackPoint, I did and decided to try the Soft Cap of TrackPoint Rim. Now there is a mark on the screen of the use of the TrackPoint Cap. It is a design defect? I don't have any problem with the cap of TrackPoint flexible dome supplied with the machine.

My T400 did not have this problem with the rim sweet trackpoint Cap... but it will be a problem if you press on the lid of the machine all the time. Usually, I put a piece of white paper between the keyboard and screen to prevent these brands.

  • Substitute the Trackpoint Cap why replacements don't have the black plastic piece? T420

So I feel like my trackpoint began to wear on my T420 and I went to replace it today with the similar CAP of the Collection of Cape of Trackpoint (73P 2698) I ordered with my machine. When I took off my hat, I was surprised to see that there is a piece of black plastic attached to the underside of the CAP. None of the caps in the collection have this plastic piece, and I seem to be unable to remove it from the CAP. Without the black plastic piece, corks do not seem to fit properly.

    Someone at - it ideas?

just take this black plastic of the old CAP and reassemble the back, then put in your new trackpoint. The stick plastic you saw does not go out like that, but you can put everything back in place.

  • TrackPoint cap

I don't know if this is the place I'm supposed to do this post.

I hate the trackpoint when I type.  I type pretty fast and I hit the trackpoint once from time to time - but it's enough to really annoy me.  It's absolutely entertaining.  Imagine typing your thoughts then all of a sudden you hit the thing, distraction, then irritated and thoughts past.  ThinkPads are supposed to help you think.  Unfortunately, the trackpoint does not...

Is there a replacement advice which has fairly depressed (and possibly black...) so that I have accidentally hit when I type?  Remove the end works well - but it is so ugly without it (makes it look like I'm using a broken hardware).

Oh and I don't mind if spare CAP will render unusable trackpoint.  I need just low enough so that I have accidentally hit.

The classic type must be low enough for you - and once you've broken the point it's just a dome of rubber anyway. The standard also does not overlap keys as do the fedoras.

In addition, pressing Fn + F8 and choosing "Settings" > UltraNav > TrackPoint settings and move the slider on the sensitivity of the TrackPoint all the way to 'Company Touch' you should be able to push once or twice and should not going very far (but then again, it is difficult to use the TrackPoint like that because it moves very slowly).

  • iPhone 6 cases leave marks on the screen

I have an iPhone 6 for 2 months now. But used a library for her, a faux leather is Fords. where you can put cards in there (I never put the cards in there). But the parts where you put cards in leaves permanent lines on the screen, as does coverage of 'smart' with the iPad. I know that I have is not Apple but come on... I have not used the case for a week and cleaned my screen with of alcohol wipes and it does not go far.

Someone knows a solution? Or has the same problem

(Oh and my front facing camera is not aligned, turn on a €700, - phone)

Apple is not responsible for the marks on a screen of the iPhone due to a case of third party manufacturing.

  • T400 screen flashes when power is connected or disconnected

    Hi guys!

I recently bought a T400. For the moment, it runs on Windows XP, Service Pack 3.

After the installation of Windows XP, I installed all the drivers concerned and no yellow question mark appear in Device Manager Panel. However, during the process of installing these drivers, now whenever I plug into our remove the AC power plug, the screen turns off for about a second and then comes back.

This problem was there immediately after the installation of Windows XP and Service Pack 3, that is before installing the drivers. I think it's a particular driver that may have caused this.

Could someone help me with this? I tried to reinstall the graphics driver.

Your video card moves the refresh rate when you change the energy sources.

See your power manager and video card settings - I bet you on battery, you are ready for 50 Hz and AC, you're ready for 60 Hz.

  • ThinkPad T400 screen broken

It is a CCFL Backlight, which is easier to find than a LED backlight. A panel of a T400, R400 14.1 "or 14.1" widescreen T61/R61 will fit. With T400/R400, you must be sure to get one with a CCFL Backlight. You can use a (1280 X 800) WXGA or WXGA + (1440 X 900) display.

  • T400 screen "blinking" every 5 seconds

Hello. I have a T400 running Windows 7. Last week, I had a problem with the screen flashes (like an eye by opening and closing) every 5 seconds or so - it starts after I have he awakened from his sleep. I had installed new updates, so I went back to a prior restore point was going on. It seemed OK. Then I reinstalled a few updates, and now he's back. It seems to be related to the refresh rate. It flashes when the refresh rate is at 60. If I change it to 50, the flashing disappears.

Updates should display Lenovo driver - could that have caused this?

    Any ideas would be welcome.

  • T510: What Lenovo app puts caps lock symbol on the screen?

Caps lock symbol that appears on the screen when you turn on / turn off the caps key lock is cute, but he tends to hang out all the time, even when the caps lock is off.  Is it possible to disable this feature?

There is an option for that.

Right-click on the desktop > screen resolution > advanced settings > display tab on the screen.

I think the default value may have been changed somewhere along the way, so an update of the hotkey package might also do the trick.

  • Black - switchable graphics - T400 screen

    Hello

I have T400 with updated and Win7 64 bit drivers. I tried switchable graphics, but it did not work.

    My configuration is:

bios - display - switchable graphics = graphics adapter

    -OS SG - active detection

When I boot in win7, it is passed to built-in adapter and when I tried to switch to the adjustment of performance (without any connected external display and no application running), the computer works, but the screen goes black and remain in this State. It looks like the screen is off. To get to normal, I have to get sleep and after you wake up system, switchable graphics are set on onboard again.

Have a similar experience? And is there a solution for this? I really like the idea of switching graphic (it is really useful for the trip) and it was one of the reasons why I've upgraded to Win7 XP

When I updated my switchable drivers, I came across a similar problem. I solved it by starting place (switchable graphics enabled in BIOS witch) in SafeMode (F8 during the boot process), then activating the ATI in Device Manager. It seemed that it was accidentally disabled during the installation of the drivers.

Don't know if it solved your problem, but may be worth a try.

I'm having a problem with my Imac end 2013.

For the last week or two, he has been randomly freezing upwards. The display freezes just upward to let appear an odd of the fragments of the screen.

All I can do is hold down the power button and shut down and then restart.

Downloaded and installed the OS X El Capitan, ran the Apple Hardware test, evrything OK.

Any other ideas where to troubleshoot them?

  • -Pop-up windows illustrator, leaving shadows on the screen even outside the Illustrator

    Hello

I've recently updated to Adobe Illustraor CC 2014 and there seems to be a new feature, causing problems. The pop-up character initiated by the entrenched top toolbar left a shadow on my screen, even outside the Illustrator. The only way to get rid of it is to restart my computer.

It drives me crazy that I never had problems with Illustrator CC thanks for any help!

Solved! AMD Radeon R9 Windows 10

I have solved this for my machine anyway, so I hope this helps

First of all, I worked through the process to eliminate the left on the shadows of the windows in the first place. I found that the shadows disappeared when:

CTRL + Alt + Del > Task Manager > processes tab > (end all 'Hydra'... (AMD Hydravision) process - I had 2 of them)

It is AMD Hydravision - (spx http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/HYDRAVISION-ForRADEONandMobileATIProducts.a ) AMD tool for multiple monitors. It is not very compatible with Adobe for some reason any...

If you then disable in the settings of your graphics card it should stop the problem. I also disabled "GPU scaling" in the settings of the Radeon for good measure.

Illustrator is now free of the lies of the shadow...
