Pls friends just want to know the best software bundle 1149 V7.1 & bundle V7.1 btw 2061 for BB Bold 9900.

I'd go with the latter offered... 2061 would be.

What you declare is quite strange, and if it was me I would be worried about suspicions of corruption... it never hurts to have multiple sources of the same backup (for example, the BBB/IPD file and the contents extracted).

    From a PC, you can install any bundle of BONES to a BB via this procedure:

    Can someone help me on this. I have a Bold 9900 and bought two months. Only yesterday, I installed and uninstalled a few apps for my bb. Then when I tried to use FourSquare app, then an error "error at startup FourSquare: net_rim_bb_media_plugin Module not found" is displayed.

    Not like that, I can't use my 'option' button where "error from net_rim_bb_options_app: net_rim_bb_timezonedynupdater Module not found" is displayed.

    Its my personal opinion that never perform a Device Software Update Over the Air, you can also try a manual update process that is more convenient and more secure. To do that just follow these simple steps:

    1. find your carrier and download the operating system you want to leave here, BlackBerry software download Site

    • (Make sure you download for the same model you have)

    2. double-click on the file downloaded to install it on your PC

    3. download and install the latest version of BlackBerry desktop by BlackBerry desktop software software

    Hello, I have a Blackberry Torch 9810 and when I connect it to my Windows 7 laptop. device is detected by the computer, and I am able to access all my files, & add/remove files as I want. However, when I use Blackberry Desktop manager or BBSAK, or run the Application Loader. the three programs cannot detect the device. When you use the Application Loader, where it should say "COM1" or "USB - PIN: UNKNOWN", it's white, & you can't select anything. I'm trying to do two things.     My apologies for the delay... this site is not a site to paid support, but rather a community of volunteer users who also have their lives to live. Sometimes, things get through... we don't intend to be the case, but sometimes it happens. Apologies that this happened to you.

    I suggest this thread:

    It begins with a process to start properly, and there is an exchange of views. Note that this is not, by any means, guaranteed to work... but it worked to much to solve the problems they have. You could add to it the use of Revo or another tool to remove own software... There are cases where things are left behind, and if they are corrupt, they can prevent the resettlement work correctly. The goal is to completely, remove from your PC, everything that is in no way, shape, or form associated with BB (registry entries, ignored of records, etc.).

    I had problems with my touch screen not working not.  After searching online it was suggested that the software might require the upgrade so I downloaded it.

    Now, my phone got lock up to 16% of the backup is complete.  I can't at this point that every time I turn the phone on it get to the same point and stop.  The battery hold a charge then over heating and I have to turn off the phone and remove the battery.

    Now, I get very frustrated that I cannot do anything with my phone!  Help, please!

    I recommend that you try to start safe mode:

    • KB17877 How to start a smartphone BlackBerry in Mode safe

    It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, see what happens.

    If the behavior continues, then well... think what happened just before this behavior started? A new application? An update? A theme? Something else? Think carefully that the slightest change can be causal... and try to undo all that was.

    But if the behavior continues mode without failure, you may need to consider more drastic measures - WIPE, OS Reload, BBSAK Wipe/Reload and the process of reloading OS 'skeleton '. To prepare, you should be sure that you have a full backup of your PC... Please see the Backup link in my sig auto on this post for instructions.

    I downloaded the desktop WITH the Media Manager 4.7 version. (excerpt from the AT & T site, my service provider) I tried to do the automatic update directly from the Blackberry http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/devices/ site.  The application loader started, he went to the test.     The easiest way is, on a PC (you can not do on MAC):

    (1) make sure that you have a current backup and your BB complete... you can find the instructions at the link in my auto-sig below.

    2) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

    (3) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

    (4) download and install on your computer, the BB OS package you want:

    • http://us.BlackBerry.com/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
    • If all you want are the levels of BONE, it is first sorted by carrier - the carrier supports, your search will be fast. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To really get the package up-to-date OS for your BB, you need to dig through and find all businesses that support your specific model BB and then compare the BONE levels they support.

    5) remove all copies of the SELLER on your PC. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

    6 (a) to change your level of BB OS installed (at level or lower), you can run the Desktop software and connect your BB... the software should offer the operating system package you have installed on your PC.

    If, during the process of 6a or 6 b, your BB has an error '507', simply unplug the USB of the BB cord and reinsert it. do nothing else... This should allow the installation to continue.

    Two options to try:

    One:

    • Open Blackberry Desktop Software & connect your device with the PC using the USB cable, without inserting the battery.
    • You have three Retry option, update or cancel, and then click Update.
    • Once it is at the stage of the "initialization of pocket" update, then insert the batteries.

    Today I plugged BB9320 my wife to the laptop for the load and the BB Desktop Software identified one update, 7.1.2753. In the end, I have connected my BB9900 but no software updates found, can anyone tell why this should be the case please?

    These device software are developed by BlackBerry, then released by respective carrier specific to each BlackBerry device model, carrier of your wife has published this specific version of the OS for BlackBerry 9320 and for you... you can have the newest software for your carrier device, so you are offered no updates for your BlackBerry 9900.

    There are two methods for recovering for you to try:

    Method 1:

    • Open the Blackberry Desktop Software and connect your device to your PC with the USB OEM cable and without inserting the battery.
