  Tony, you updated to Vista? To run the cleaning brush to make sure that we get rid of everything left on the software. Heres how:

  Of the Original installation CD:
  1. Insert the CD in the drive and then cancel Setup
  2. open my computer and click right then on the CD from the drive and select open
  3 open the Util folder
  4 open the CCC folder
  5. If you have an HP computer, run the L3uninstall.exe. If you have a computer not HP, run the L4uninstall.exe
  6. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer
  7 run the Accessories\ System Tools Disk Cleanup
  8. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

  9 download drivers and full software features

  I got a HP photosmart 1000 for 3 years now and I drives, and I've never had a problem with any computer, I got - were not HP! Now, I buy like laptop HP Compaq Presario x 64 and I'm unable to use my HP printer. I love my printer and have endured years of ink cartridges 40 - 50.00. However, if I can't download the drivers and software to load this printer on my laptop HP with Vista 64, then I not replace my printer with another HP. I love the quality of the printer and its functions and were willing to make compromises on pay more to the price of the cartridge costs. But, if I have to pay, simply because I just buy a computer "nine" at HP, then I will be replaced by the new Xerox printer.

  Does anyone know if there is a download with the drivers and software for this printer to work to Amend be recognised by Windows Vista? Please let me know. I appreciate all the advice!

  If it's the Photosmart 1000, which uses the cartrdiges 45 # and #78 (introduced in 1998 about...) the driver Deskjet 970 should provide a good match for printing.  Go to the printers, add printer folder, and then select the Deskjet 970.

  I want the driver & software for my F2180 after I reinstalled Windows7 (32 bit). Select the language I want ENGLISH, but whenever I extracted the file & go to install I have the Dutch version! What's happening & how do English?

  I looked around here too, but getting links for this one (and still get it in Dutch after download!) or a version of Vista is not working.

• Still problems downloading software for printer hp B209a 8.1 on windows

  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software according to the instructions online and finally got the box that allowed me to install.  And, of course, I got the message "the system cannot find specified file" which prevented me to settle.  I followed the instructions online for that matter.  Type %windir%\SysWoW64\cmd.exe in the search box, but all that came were several websites discussing - anything on the computer itself.  I went into the windows folder and searched for hpoins and hpwins files, but nothing showed up.  As a gesture of despair, I tried windows for files .dat files and reviewing all of them - several hpxxxxx (x being two other letters or numbers) but no file hpoins or hpwins.  So where should I go from there?  I uninstalled my last download again and waiting for a response.

But it comes with all the software, including HP Customer Participation program 13.0, HP Document Manager 2.0, HP Smart Web Printing 13.0 software OCR by I.R.I.S 13.0 HP Imaging Device functions 13.0, HP Photosmart Essential 4.51 and HP Solution Center 13.0. I have even all this software with the exception of the HP Solution Center 13.0. First of all, what is an OCR software? And secondly, can I remove all the software, and keep the HP Solution Center 13.0, this work HP Solution Center yet?

  You don't need any CD. Go to the HP Support and drivers website,
  and search for your printer. Find the appropriate driver for your version of
  Windows, download it, install it and follow the prompts.

  I actually do not need this software for printing, because the printer works fine on the network, but I need a way to analyze things on network and if I understand the only way to do that is through this software.
