• OEM recommended 12 c Cloud Control Monitoring

  Hi all

  We are in the deployment process of models in OEM 12 c (version 4) for, among other things, CRM, BRM, DPOS, OSM, UIM, WCC, BEEP and FMW of surveillance.

  Is it perhaps all best practice documentation out there for what to monitor for each component? My apologies if my terminology is not quite to the height, I don't have much experience with OEM other than monitoring of databases with tools out-the-box, but I understand that there is no so-called management packs for most, if not all of the above, and that the installed agents will likely include things like CPU usage , memory and disk etc, but I am concerned about something else, that we might need to monitor.

  If there is some kind of guide to application of control specifically for each of these items, I think this should help me tremendously.

  There are certified/recommended models available for many objectives in the company-> monitor-> oversight models.  For example, Ebs, SOA, etc.   I suggest you look at those to begin with.  For DB, Cluster, RAC, etc. recommended are the default settings, so you can create a model of these default values by going to oversight as models above, select Create, and then select the option to create of target Type.  This will allow a drop-down list to select category (database) and then target type (for example database Instance).  Then all the metrics available db will be responsible, with departure recommended thresholds.  Of course, every company has different indicators or thresholds, so there is not 1 correct answer, but it's a good starting point.

  Key points to remember-

  -default incident rule provided by oracle takes no action on warning events

  -recommend create as on rule Inc. and create your own you can adjust/edit, and then clear out of box

  -If you get too many alerts/emails, adjust thresholds or remove thresholds to stop completely to the supervision of models

  -only to set thresholds for the items you will actually act on

  -use reports for others

  And my advice for any beginner is to go through this: getting started with After Effects , it may seem like a formidable wall of text, but it is not as intimidating to try to push to AE without it. Take each link one at a time and you may have a solid foundation in the use of AE. AE is not like Photoshop or Premiere, where you can just click around and eventually you will understand. It takes time to learn (and I'm not talking just a few hours).

  I'm fairly new to AE, and I was curious what had to do the job within your video if you want effects such as vignettes, snow etc. the best way. It is best to work within your composition to add these effects or is it OK to work on a model of the tile outside your final composition and just drag/import other comps in? Does make the biggest file or a link the composition else remotely and it really doesn't matter etc? I'm worried about work on these other effects outside my main composition and it connects to it remotely and that link could break, or the file is huge, etc...

  You can't link to other projects. You can import a project, but once it's imported, it has nothing to do with the initial project.

  Summing the comps in the same model and linking values between the compositions with expressions are a great way to work for some projects. However, sometimes it is better to work in the same model for many things.

  If you are new to AE, I highly recommend this resource to get started with After Effects. Will get you a solid foundation in things like the precomposition, workflow, asset management, expressions, etc, and it will avoid the frustration of having a lot of new users.

  After Effects and first are two completely different products. I can't even begin to list the differences, because there are so many.

  What are the types of hosts will you update? In most cases, you can use VMware Update Manager for ESX4i and vSphere 4.0, because you can't make a room upgrade with vSphere 4.0 CD. If your environment is lower, then 10 hosts, then use Host Update Utility to perform the upgrade, which is fairly easy or install base plug-in and configured VUM and sanitize it massively if you wish and plan accordingly with VMotion feature so that you have no downtime or need to use Storage VMotion, if you need to migrate between stores.

  Once you have upgraded your hosts all vSphere 4.0, you have an option to clean the ESX 3.5/Boot and files in directory existing using the 'cleaning-esx3' service console command. If you like not vSphere 4.0 performance for some reasons, you can restore to the State ESX 3.x as well by using the command line "rollback-to-esx3' which will reconfigure your bootloader then you can manually delete the service console vmdk file.

  Steps to follow:

  1 back up your database

  2 download the license file and the upgrade to vCenter 4.0 Server and components, point to existing ODBC connection to keep data of perf or clean install.

  3. switch to level the esx host using component VUM

  4. upgrade tools vmware and vmware hardware at level 7

  I develop page TOC of my Gallery of photos and when I started, I had a lot of data, I wanted to show and through the use of lookup tables and appropriate in my SELECT query logic, I could show a vertical list of galleries which corresponded to a specific category. Each has been rated two samples thumbnail, title, description, model, photographer and makeup artist names. I was even able to set the page title and the header to display the appropriate information.

  A query SELECT additoinal counted the number of galleries in the main table that relate to the current query string value.

  Another query SELECTION counted the number of photos each different gallery photoset and displays this information in the title of EACH Gallery.

  The description is in the opposite direction to the flow of the code, keep in mind. Here is the code (the $spec variable is the query string.):

  In any case, it worked perfectly. However, I've added galleries, this list will get quite long. So, I wanted to add navigation that would break the number of galleries in set amounts.

  When I introduced parameters to LIMIT the number of queries poster based on a variable called SHOWMAX, my display got all botched. I gave up on all of the above data display and went the simple route, thinking that I would like to add more features that I learned.   Again you are misunderstanding. I'm not suggesting to hardcode values. I just wonder if you are / were trying to pass the object real and descriptions of category or the category id and the subject so that you can refresh the database on every page.

  I don't think so. Just look at the SQL code. It uses the values of offset and limit which means for me that it returns only the lines of the current page. What picture are you talking about?

  I really think you tackle this all wrong. Right now you are looking for solutions to specific problems without having a solid foundation in the technologies involved. Trying to build that you learn is a recipe for disaster and frustration. Stop what you are doing for awhile. Work on some php and tutorials SQL which are not related to this project. Work through them, until you understand what makes each line of code.

  Currently, you are directed down a rat hole. You can get the most work, but you will be be plagued by bugs and scripts that are difficult to maintain.

  Open the sparsebundle in Finder and keep open the subfolders until you get to the backup of each separate hard drive...

  By default, Time Machine will exclude your second drive unless you have included it. Did you?

  Once you get to this level during the backup, you can do a full restore manually whenever you want.

  I want MP4 files to open in an external player. I got media.windows - media - foundation.enabled set to false, but it seems that ceased to work with the new version. When set to false I now get an error in the link: video cannot be played because the file is corrupted.

  Windows XP uses Media Foundation, it uses DirectShow (DirectX). To turn it off, it was a different preference:

  (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

  (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste media and make a pause so that the list is filtered

  (3) double-click the preference media.directshow.enabled from true to false.
