  I'm filling out an interactive form. Most of the fields just to sit and be nice when I fill them. However, the other 4 articles unrelated to mirror each other. So everything I type in a shape is filled (or deleted) of others. It drives me crazy. Using Adobe XI on Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit.

  Open in Acrobat go to the tools > forms > change form.

  You CAN use the form instead of the path to achieve the same effect. Create your shape layer. Then click on layer > rasterize fill content and then just use your gradient tool as you want on your form. You will have a gradient vector filled form.

  Try this. I have Excel 2007 so it can vary between different versions...

  In Excel, and draw your desired shape.

  Right-click in the form, and then click

  In 'Fill' change the color of what you want.

  In the line of color changes the color of what you want

  In the line style change the width you want.

  Then click on your form should now be necessary.

  But now right click again in the form and click on 'set the form by default'.

  I think that all future forms in this journal will be the right color and line as required.

  Aaron, no thanks to Adobe (and a big thank you using Google Apps,) I finally could solve this problem.  The way the document authenticates in the back-end is through Google + Apps Admin profile.  Once I entered in the Console administration, compatible Google + for the created domain a + profile for the admin of the field, the auto shape filled the signature form after that I have authorized access to authentication on the shortcut menu.  Not sure if your situation is in Google Apps, but even if not, I'd be willing to bet that the problem on your side is the account that is used for authentication when you open your form.  I hope this helps!

• CS6 gradient fills on forms after reloading?

  Is someone getting otherwise a question whereby degraded changed when you reopen a PSD.

  It happens too often for me to be something I do accidentally.

  Sometimes I save my file and the gradient on a shape fill, it is be gray, reopen and then white.

  Attachment and resave seems so save it correctly.

  I was not able to establish a model to replicate again.

  So why I wonder if others have seen this too?

  If you set the gradient in the foreground or background in a stop sign (s) of the gradient, then whenever the file is opened, these stop (s) will take on the power of Photoshop fore / background colors.

  For example, the first preset gradient is called "Foreground to background" and indicate the auditor of black in stops / background color and not a color sets.

  

  However, when you reopen a file that has such a full form of gradient and inspect the gradient, stops deceptively will look like normal fixed color stops although it either really fore / background stops.

  

  To make a foreground / background stop, stop a fixed color, just click the stop before you save the file.

  I don't think that this function still exists. It might be useful to have your client before the email they receive from the form to them? in this way, they would have their results. Now, if your client receives a ton of people daily so it is probably not effective but if responses are low, it would be a work around.

  Long ago, I explained a similar workflow in these forums and blog on this subject:

  It is the workflow, I'd certainly use for the Tip:

  1. create a v_hint of user variables
  2. insert this variable in a text container on the first slide where you need (form or legend, I always mention that, because the shape is much more flexible for the style) and don't forget to adjust the length as high as possible. in previous versions maximum number of characters in a variable used to 256, but Rod pointed out, it is now lower (about 150)
  3. make this large enough text container, so that it can have your longer index and the time for the rest of the project, always on top.
  4. Create the action of the show/hide button that container (have several blog on shape toggle buttons)
  5. Create a joint action or a tip action that must be triggered by pressing enter for each slide where you want the features. It will be quite simple: assign v_hint with «...» ' (text you want for that slide being in the indicator); I would have preferred a shared action on a bunch of advanced duplicate actions because they save on the size of the file, and you can manage the library

  You can use the same approach (with a different user variable) for the script, but due to the limitation of the length of a variable and the fact that you have only 3 different versions, I would argue just to have 3 different, but still timed text containers for the rest of the project and always on top.

  With respect to the URL, I'm afraid you will have to use JS. I think that TLCMediaDesign (David Crawford) posted on this workflow.  Publish to HTML or SWF? There are widgets autour.

  It can be broken down to still 4 triangles and a rectangle.

  All triangles are 30-60-90, so the calculation is fairly simple.

  Edit: Sorry, in the script I use 'h' and 'g' for the triangle not 'a' and 'b' as the diagram below.

  In addition, point.a is the left most point and it works in a clockwise direction around the shape.

  This page of my site http://whitehorseedgworth.co.uk/book-a-table.html has trouble on phones and tablets when the user begins to fill in the form.  (You should test it to see the problem, because it is difficult to explain, but ill try my best)  Once the user selects the form to fill out, it zoomed automatically and then you can navigate around the shape, fill in the details.  When the user reaches the boxes, it moves the screen and it is difficult to go back to where you were.  Whenever you click on, it does not allow you to zoom back in full screen, finally, as it did, but with difficulty.  It's as if there is a problem with the sensitive side of things.  Muse is entirely sensible really?   The problem occurred on an iPhone, but after several tries, I realized what the problem was.  The bar menu pin that scrolls upwards, then stayed there (using the effect of scrolling movement) was the problem.  Once I removed the menu bar the sensitive issue has been fixed.  Although now, I have a problem with the bar hopping every time on it.  I have another thread open for this second issue.  Thanks a lot for your answer

• Illustrator colors changing when pasting between Documents

  Hi, I have a problem with changing colors when pasting between documents.

  First of all, let me start by saying The TWO DOCUMENTS ARE in CMYK. There is no RGB CMYK questioned past here - I tried everything. At least, that I can tell.

  Here's the situation:

  I have a created shape, filled with a shade of PMS, from an old document and when I copy and paste into a new document, the colors suddenly change and become muddy. PMS swatch is the same, just more muddy looking on the screen, in the two Illustrator and as an exported PDF.

  If I copy the shape to the NEW document and paste again in the former, the colors return to normal. So there must be some kind of issue with a color rendition. But my color settings profile is the same for both (North America General Purpose 2)

  I use Illustrator CC, but I tried the same copy > paste the process in CS6 and encountered the same problem.

  I tried to go to Edit > assign profile and clicking "don't color manage this Document", but which do not seem to work.

  I work at a printing company, and this is not the first time that my client has noticed the change of colors. The old one is certainly how the colors are supposed to look - I'd like to re-create these settings so my new documents will always be the same.

  Perhaps on a related note, I tried to work around the problem by taking the old Illustrator file, placing in InDesign, make my changes save as PDF... except almost the same thing happened. He seemed fine in InDesign, but when she saved to PDF it was muddy.

  It should not. The password is not necessary to open/read the PDF file, it is used to limit what can be done with the document (copy changes, content, etc.)
