Solution Center error message almost never goes away

Whenever I start my laptop, I get an error message that says: "the component you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or another removable disk that is not available.  Insert Solution Center disk and click OK. "It is quite aggrivating because I have to stuggle through at least three attempts or more before I get the error message to finally go and not return until I restart my laptop.

I have no idea what function the program thinks I'm trying to use; I'm not trying anything to open my laptop.  Interesting, there are a number one (1) in the window 'Source of use' of plaintiff in this error message.  I inserted the disc program and when I click on the drive, I got the other error message that basically said that '1' was not the file he wanted.  I tried to find the file, he would have wanted, found the Setup file of Solution Center - one on the CD, and one already on my laptop - but none of these files were to be accepted.

I want to be able to start my laptop without having to run the gaunlet of sticky error messages every time.

Please help if you can.

  • The HP Solution Center error message

I want to use the scanner on all-in-one printer, HP Officejet 5610. I am running Windows 7 (64-bit).  When I select HP Solution Center it says that I'm not running the latest version of Adobe Flash Player for Internet Explorer.  It will not work until I update to the latest version. However, when I update I can't launch the videos sent to my email, so I was advised to uninstall and revert to a previous version.  How can I get the HP Solution Center to run without upgrading to the latest Adobe Flash Player. BTW, my favorite browser is Mozilla.

I hate to say this, but you can't.  Center solution requires the latest version of Flash Player to run.  I don't know why HP has designed this way, but you need the it or any buttons.  I'm sorry.

  • C410a: Solution Center error

Get error Solution Center, Center of Solution cannot run because your installation of the device is not complete.  I can print a Word doc or a browser. I can't bring up the Solution Center to use the scanner in the device. I have the original CD that installed without problems on Win7, but I can't install it in 10 to win.

Downloading and installing just the PS_AIO_07_C410_140_408 - 5.exe printer software does not resolve the issue.
Here are the steps I took to fix the issue on three HP Solution Center HP C410a Printer PC in my network home.

    1. disable driver signature enforcement

    -Right-click on the start menu
    -Open command prompt (admin)
    -Type: BCDEDIT/set nointegritychecks ON

2 uninstall the printer drivers HP C410a (do not remove the drivers)

-Start menu right click again, and then click Device Manager
-check the printer and queue for the problem print device
-uninstall the drivers HP C410a (do not remove the drivers)

3 drill down to the folder printer Start HP <->HP <->run the HP device add

    4. install device drivers

5 allow the application of signature of driver

    -Right-click on the start menu
    -Open command prompt (admin)
    -Type: BCDEDIT/set nointegritychecks OFF

NOTE: If after uninstalling/re-installing the peripheral printer and print queue drivers and the message error "installation is incomplete" reappears when to restart the HP Solution Center you need to remove/uninstall the existing printing software and install the feature complete downlaoded from HP Customer Support software - software and driver WEB site:

  • OfficeJet 4500 G510n Solution: Officejet 4500 G510n Solution Center error

Solution Center has scan well under Windows 7 home.

After the upgrade to Windows 10 error message "HP solution Center cannot run because your installation of the device is not complete."

went to HP Support installed new software page but keep the same condition.

    Hello!
Welcome to the HP community @Josepr,

I read about the problems of scanning you have faced after the upgrade to Windows 10 and I wanted to answer to help with my own suggestions.

First step: clean boot, restart the PC and try the install again.

    1. start by typing "msconfig" in the search box of Cortana, and then click MSConfig (run command)
On your keyboard press Windows + R key at same time and type Msconfig in the run window, and then click OK or press ENTER.

    2. now, choose Selective startup

    3. Remove the check of the Load Startup items

    4. click on the Services tab

    5. check "hide all Microsoft Services" and then click on disable all

    6. click apply , then OK

7 restart the PC and temporarily disable firewalls or antivirus programs

8 run the Installation Wizard for Windows HP printer to install the printer

9 turn on the firewall and start services

Second step: you unregister and re-register the Windows Installer Service:

    1. hold down the Windows key + R to fill the box "Run" and type cmd.exe, and then click OK.
    2. at the command prompt, type msiexec /Unregister , and then press ENTER.
    3. at the command prompt, type msiexec/regserver, and then press ENTER.
    4. at the command prompt, type exit and press ENTER to close the command prompt.
    5. run the Wizard for Windows HP printer installation

Step 3: run System File Checker Scan (up to 3 times) to repair the corrupted system files:
    1. go to start
    2. type CMD
3 right-click and run as administrator
    4. to check and repair the OS type sfc/scannow (note the space between sfc and ' / ')

You may need to run this upward to 3 times to solve all the problems

When finished, it will say one of three things
Windows did not find any breach of integrity (a good thing)
Windows resource protection found corrupt files and repair the (good)
Windows resource protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some (or all) of them (not a good thing)

    Try to reinstall the printer.

Step 4: activate the built-in Windows administrator account

    source

    1. first of all, you'll need to open an administrator mode command prompt by right-clicking and choosing "run as Administrator" (or use the shortcut Ctrl + Shift + Enter in the search box).

Note that it works the same in all versions of Windows. It just search for cmd and then do a right-click on the icon of the command prompt in the start menu or the boot screen.

    2. If you are in Windows 8.x or 10 you can click on the Start button and choose to open a command prompt in this way.

    3. now type the following command:

NET user administrator / Active: Yes

    4. you should see a message that the command completed successfully. Log out, and you will now see the administrator as a choice account.

You will notice that there is no password for this account, so if you want to leave it enabled, you must change the password.

    Try to reinstall the printer.

  • ThinkPad 14 Yoga - Lenovo solutions Center: strange message display

Right. Yes, Hello and thanks in advance. I have a ThinkPad Yoga 14, put far and run the latest version of Windows 10 64-bit edition. First of all, I must point out that this question could not be a problem with the incompatibility of the app all Lenovo apps and programs that work, LSC however seems to be throwing a strange error. It was displaying the same error message from a time of upgrading to W10, this question was not present in W8.

Under system, I get a critical warning to the software update and it says:

    "Windows Update".

    You never updated Windows

    Status: expired

    Last update: not available

To update your operating system, you must run Windows Update.

    [Launch] »

Curiously, no amount of click on the launch button will actually launch wUpdate. And that's all. I have already received, downloaded and installed a dozen updates to day and the message is still there. On another post here on the forum I read I would get this error if the value has not been updated to download and install automatically, but I have not changed the update settings. Everything is automatic. Installation, download, everything. Any ideas?

    Hello

Some antivirus/security products may cause this error. McAfee, Norton, Windows Live OneCare.
ThreatFire are some. What antivirus/antispyware/security products do you have on machine now? And
who have you ever on it, even if you have uninstalled them? (These leave the remains that can cause some)
    strange questions.)

I've had my laptop of HP EliteBook 6930p about a month ago.  I installed the drivers and the complete HP software from HP. com without incident.  My PC came with IE 8.  Some malware named Babylon.exe infected with IE 8.  I was able to remove my registry, but caused persistent problems with IE 8.  Microsoft suggested that I have installed IE 9, which I did.   The next time I tried to use the HP Solution Center (for scanning a document), I got the above error.

Thank you 007OHMSS (catchy name you have!)

I thought that I had uninstalled and reinstalled the printer before I submitted this request for support forum.  However, I went back and tried again, this time using the software uninstall HP all-in-one at ALL.   I've also disabled my anti-virus from Symantec during the uninstall software, reboot and reinstall process.

  • C4280 Solution Center Software refuses to see all-in-One installed

OK, my fine ran C4280 forever, all of a sudden won't scan from Solutions center - get various errors - communication error with the device, no device installed, the software is not installed, cannot communicate, software missing etc. ad nauseam. Have reinstalled, uninstalled using all level 4 with rotation of MSCONFIG just turned off and it still don't load correctly 5 different downloads of HP or the CD. The problem is in the part somewhere, scanning software as I can scan WIA and painting (which uses the WIA) Photoshop and most of the programs with the exception that the program offers you to use the scanner software, I get a message similar to "not installed". Obviously not a problem of USB that I can scan fine in WIA and obviousl it is two-way connection, but solution center not scan. He'll work for the copy function, but hit the photo or document scanning time and error message. Any ideas away from throwing the entire unit. Completely updated XP3 to day running.

I was contacted at last by the advanced support tech, unfortunately, he wanted me to reformat my hard drive and reinstall windows XP, which was not an option. Instead, I got creative - uninstalled "Solution Center"through the control panel and all HP, including HP Photosmart 2.0 software. Put the cd in and sailed to uninstall (rt click on the disc in the cd drive and open, search for folder util, open. find the ccc folder and open, uninstallers are listed as "uninstall_L1, 2, 3, 4") used level 1, then 2, then 3, then 4 programs uninstall and rebooted. Then, I downloaded the HP Photosmart 3.5 software and installed by itself, as the prior installation would not allow the scanner to connect (TWAIN error absent). Then downloaded the package "Solution Center" and the software for a C6280 and installed, although it would not recognize the C4280, I continued with the installation by checking I would connect later. I unplugged the PRINTER from the power from the USB and restarted. After restarting, connected to the PRINTER and then the USB, windows recognized as new hardware, let the Wizard do its thing until he asked for the CD, put the old CD in the drive and let it copy the files he wanted, then came and asked to install a HP screen, I chose "custom" fist and then next sceen asked for auto or advanced , has chosen peak and let it go from there (most of the programs in the list showed already "installed"). When he finished I had 2 digital imaging monitors on my sys tray, rebooted and then alone. Solution Center now opens, communicates with the scanner and the works - if a little slowly, but it is 100 xxxxxx software not software of xxxx. 90.l transmit the tech boys so that they do not force others to reformat and destroy their systems without reason.

  • HP - scanning problem solution Center

I was in the middle of the digitization of images in a Word 2010 by using my HP6310 all in one document. After scanning a selected section of a page like I did several times, I got a message saying:

"An internal error occurred during the processing of the document. Click OK to close the program and then try one of the following values:-restart the program. -Restart the PC and then try again. -Reinstall the software photos & images and try again. »

I tried to close and restart the HP Solution Center and the word. I tried scanning in a new Word document. I tried to restart the PC. I've updated the software of HP. In the process, I found and downloaded the HP printer Diagnostic tools. When I ran the Scan doctor, I got a message saying:

«Center of solution error: your system needs an update to fix this Solution Center error.» Click on the "Get Update" to download the update. Once the download is complete, run the downloaded file to update your system. »

However, when I clicked on "Get Update", I received the following message: 'could not open the page. The service or the information requested is not available at this time. Please try again later. (Error: system-websrv_unavail) »

I tried to restart several times over a period of several hours.

Before this problem in his set, I started to receive error messages when I tried to save the Word file containing scanned images. The messages said that I could not save due to a file permission error. The message does not always appear, and I found I could work around the problem by using the function save pennies on the file tab. I don't know if these two problems are related.

I am using Windows Vista 64-bit.

    Hi @CL-HP

There are indeed a few updates available, which may be necessary; However, I think it would be better first to perform a full uninstall, then reinstall the software, then look for the necessary updates.

    1. Hold down the Windows Logo key () on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the dialog box run, type %temp%
    2. Delete all files and folders in the temp folder. Choose Skip if all pop ups seem to say all files cannot be deleted
    3. The new software - uninstall the printer software Instructions
    4. Once the uninstall is complete, reboot the computer
    5. Follow these steps to reset the registry settings and options for Windows Installer.
