[SOLVED] Graphic objects in Firefox

After you install Firefox on a cool Linux, top of the tabs has a few graphical artifacts, and some Web sites containing transparent elements, those also appears as vertical stripes.

This problem occurs with a new profile and even in Thunderbird (the problem with the tabs), but not with other operating systems or other browsers

Looks like it isn't Firefoxes problem, on the contrary, it is caused by a pilot chart buggy

    How to invert the colors of the graphics object?

    Change the blendMode to BlendMode.Invert affect the image (what there are none) not the graphics object.

    You can set a ColorTransform (-1, -1, -1, 1, 255, 255, 255, 0);

    I'll probably get to test this a bit more later, but I think that should reverse the colors in the image...

  • It is better to have graphical objects superimposed on the images?

    Hi, I have a doubt as to the best practice to prepare a file for printing.

    This file will be exported to PDF / X - 1a: 2001 and I wonder if there is any problem with the graphic object (especially dark) with the tangent of one side to an image.

    Is probably a silly question, but I would like to know from your experience, which is the best way to do it.

    Is he better have the overlay for images, or enough of the rectangle is dark align the two borders on the same principle?

    Rectangle and the image isn't any style.

    Maybe I understood you.

    Of course, the image must be more large that part which is masking the image, so you can adjust it in InDesign and you should have the material to make changes in the presentation.

    But that you shouldn't do, cover images with white frames to make them invisble.

  • to get the id of the page containing the graphic object

    How can we get the id of the page the file FrameMaker containing the graphic object using the FrameMaker API?

    For example: If there are four body pages in a file with the third page containing a graphical object. How can I get the id of page 3?

    Hi Asha,

    If FP_FrameParent is to give you the frame of the page, then I think that is the answer you are looking for. This means that the graphic is not in an anchored frame.

  • Scroll the document to a specified graphics object window

    Hello

    someone knows a way to scroll through the document to a graphical object window specified?

    I tried with the F_ApiScrollToText() function, but it only works with the object that contains the text and text does not have a graphical object (like a line)...

    Thanks in advance.

    There is not directly command to control, but if you push the slider to the bottom of the graph, then a button will scroll and display on the window.

    The code example is below:

    IntT fcodes [] = {CSR_DOWN};

    Set the target graph

    F_ApiSetInt (docId, graphicId, FP_GraphicIsSelected, True);

    / * Slider down to go to this graph * /.
    F_ApiFcodes (sizeof (fcodes) /sizeof (IntT), fcodes);

    Just above the code, it works fine for me.

  • Can I modify a graphic object for example drawCircle?

    I have a Sprite in which I drew a circle with a fill.  Later, I would like to change the color of the circle.  I have retrieved the Graphics of the Sprite object using getChildAt() and tried:

    getChildAt (i).graphics.beginFill (0 x 550000);

    However, this does not work.

    Is this possible?  I have RTFM but can not know exactly how to deal with the Graphics object.

    Thank you!

    you need to re - draw the circle.

    sp.graphics.beginFill (0 x 550000);

    sp.graphics.drawCircle(x,y,rad);   //<--assign>

    sp.graphics.endFill)

  • Drawing objects in Firefox and Thunderbird after installing the graphics card MSI R6850 of AMD

    After installing the new graphics card (MSI R6850 CYCLONE 1GD5 PE/OC), pilots the latest on Windows XP 32-bit, I frequently meet with Mozilla Firefox 8.0 and Mozilla Thunderbird 8.0 drawing artifacts. The problem presents itself as a horizontal black bands or model checker color scattered. It occurs especially when the child (like the Download Manager) passage of another application for Firefox or Thunderbird or when to switch to a window for Firefox. It affects the entire application or only some rectangular (region clearly who was redesigned due to change of application). Then repaint (such as switch between Firefox tabs) usually solves the problem. This is just visual, the behavior is not affected. The problem never happened to any other application so far. Any ideas? Any who have experienced the same problem? Thanks in advance.

    Try turning off hardware acceleration.

    • Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.

    If disable hardware acceleration works then check if there is an update available for your graphics display driver that corrects these problems.

  • Graphic objects on a custom Manager

    Hello, all,.

    I've implemented a Manager with complex methods of sublayout() and object.  sublayout() uses layoutChild() and childPosition() to place fields (some of which are in turn the instances of the same custom handler class) on the screen.  object uses graphical methods (setBackgroundColor, clear, setColor, drawLine, drawBitmap, drawText) to emulate the net.rim.device.api.ui.decor functionality (that we support v4.2).  I use no clipping rectangle to optimize the behavior that the performance is decent enough as it is.

    My problem is that the small rectangular parts of the screen are sometimes deleted the background color.  Fixes extra "navigation" on the screen.  Hell, asking same background (at least) and return to the application solves the problem!

    Here are a few images to see how the same screen looks like at different times (it is a simulator with 5.0.0.442 9700, phones and other simulators of all look at them differently, but close).  The last of them is the way in which the screen is supposed to look like, others have these "spots".  There is no field focus outside the screen main itself - all "navigation" is treated by painting the fields differently.

    Any idea what's going on?  I confused framework BB enough to do some weird stuff?

    Found the problem!  In my calls of drawText that I used g.getClippingRect () .width to get the available width for the text, which is clearly wrong.  Once I changed it to the extent of the field under the position of the original text and less good padding / width of the right border, everything started working.

    Sorry to bother everyone with my own stupidity,

    Arkady.

  • Why do firefox 4 is flashing constantly? I don't want just the flash, I mean the whole page. I'd like to solve this problem, either Firefox 4 is completely unusable. Help, please!

    It was a really strange phenomenon. I just upgraded to Firefox 4 an hour ago. The problem started as soon as the upgrade is complete. First of all, I get a black screen, then the page is displayed. However, when I move the mouse or scroll or anything like that, I get constant stuttering and flicker. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, maybe my computer settings are wrong. I had to go back to 3.6 to not even enter the help of forumPlease!

    safe mode is a bit drastic, for disable me hardware acceleration did the trick.
    Click on the orange menu button goto options-> options and then click Advanced at the top right there is an option somewhere in the middle of the hardware turn it off by unchecking the checkbox and press OK.
    Don't forget to try to re - activate after each update because hardware acceleration unfortunately improves the performance of the browser

    Rather than wait for a update for firefox, you can also try to update the driver for your grapicscard and see if this allows you to make hardware acceleration without problems.

    ~ edit: I'm color-blind firefox menu button is of course not yellow and orange, said protip for the graphics card drivers.

  • Graphic objects

    Just import video from my 3 ghost seems to have a few graphical artifacts. In the following example of split-screen, I also added some color correction as it makes it a little easier to see objects, but they are there on the imported raw video so. On the right side in the sky, you can see several concentric circles from the center of the image.

    Left side is raw video of phantom before importation, so after importation and the right color correction.

    PremiereELements.jpg

    I forgot to mention, it's the 12 Version of elements and the video is 1920 x 1080

    It's an interesting comparison, MRC.

    Why do you have output and MPEG, rather than a Premiere Elements MP4? MPEG is not as effectively compressed and are often intertwined. Or I read the specifications of your hurt.

    Apples to apples comparison would certainly compare with mp4s mp4s.

  • Y at - it a simple method to disable and flatten graphical objects in the .pdf file?

    I often send .pdf files to my clients. I do not protect the files because it seems that I do not trust my clients

    I do generally two types of activity:

    (1) change a Word file where to paste my graphic signature, then export it in. PDF. Unfortunately, my graphicla signature object is always there, and anyone with Acrobat can enter.

    (2) modify the existing Acrobat files where I hide parts of the page with white spots. I print the files in. PDF, but the patches/items are still there and anyone can remove.

    I can protect the file, but there not a method to flatten objects and make them NOT SELECTABLE at all? I don't care if surrounding text does not become achievable OCR.

    I tried with optimization and deleting objects, but no way to success.

    I'm sure there's a solution, but I was not able to find it.

    Thank you

    Paolo of Italy

    You do not trust of your customers. You fear that they can somehow extract the content and use it in a way that is detrimental to you. If something is in PDF format, it can be extracted, even if you apply security. Addition of security will make impossible to extract or modify the content with Acrobat or any other Adobe software.

    On the contrary if obscuring the content with the white objects, use the writing tool to remove content completely. You can configure the properties of redaction to set fill in white color.

  • Debugger and the graphics object

    I have the graphics (Graphics2D) and want to run the code in the debugger to see how the elements of the object are drawn. But I just can't.
    I can watch how the values of variables are changed, but the window, where the graph is supposed to belong is all black with nothing in it.

    Does anyone know why this is and if there is a way to draw step by step graphics?

    Yes, I meant actually Swing, no Java.

    I don't know what you want to do.

    Suppose I have

    g.drawLine( 0, 0, 50, 0 );
    g.drawLine( 0, 0, 0, 50 );

    I wanted to see how the two lines are drawn one after the other. As you step through the code.

    I don't see how you would be able to do it in a simple way. The only thing I can think is to create a new thread messages draw commands using SwingUtilities.invokeAndWait
