  I have a NB200 "netbook" running windows 7. When I boot, everything is big, depressing the function (fn) key shows a menu at the top of the screen and work functions.

  After a little while of some programs running, it stops working. When I press the button Fn small light still lights the fire of power but the menu isn't pop up and hit an F key has no effect, I can't turn off wifi or make the etc. brighter screen etc. Nothing seems to bring back to life outside a reboot. Same new andon disconnection does not cure it.

He tried to clean the key to bored all possible ways, and nothing works. He wondered if he had a Ctrl function that would allow him to put a s with the key or bypass the password lock.   Have you installed all the drivers from Toshiba?

  Be sure to only install the driver Hotkey, modules, FN-Esse, Toshiba common controls. An update of the BIOS can also help :)

  Hi, this is my first post. I tried the search function, but couldn't find the answer.

  I've owned several ThinkPads since the R30 and they have always been reliable. (My wife and I still have this R30 more 3 R40s and 2 R61s)

  R61i my wife developed a problem (under XP Pro). The Ctrl keys no longer work.

  I can copy and paste by using the menu, right click menu, or on the keypad of the screen.

  If I go to Notepad, press Ctrl + c, the 'c' character is typed.

  I found Windows "Narrator" who will speak the names of the keys when you press. It is quiet when you press a Ctrl key.

  I think it is strange that both Ctrl keys stop working at the same time that would make me assume that it's not the physical keys themselves.

  Any ideas?

  Could you please let us know the exact version of Photoshop you're working on, also did you copy the Plugins and move it to the folder Plugins in Photoshop?

  After update to Sierra my keyboard worked well for a while.  But at random, U I O P J K L keys stopped working.

  The bug only shows 1 profile. If I create another profile new profile keyboard works very well.

  Anyone know what that sometimes caused that and with the fix is?

  After reviewing your post, it seems that several keys do not work on a single profile. This looks like an option that may have been changed.  I recommend you to read this article, it may be able to help solve the problem.
  
  

  If the other keys do not work

  You may have accidentally set an option that changes your keyboard works.

  • Choose the Apple menu > System Preferences, click Accessibility, and then click keyboard. Make sure that slow keys is turned off. If slow keys is enabled, you will need to keep a key longer than usually before it is recognized.

  xinetd is running at 83% or more 24 x 7 devours battery in 2 hours or less and making the fan run all the time.  I am connected to a bug report, and it turns out that it was a duplicate because someone else had the same problem.  However, I have no access to the other bug report or find anything either in the discussion forums or online.  Anyone experience this problem?

  I doubt that someone else has this problem because xinetd does not part of macOS. Have you installed it from a package of "ports" 3rd party?

So I took the 2-hour drive to the Apple store nearest to say that the phone has a faulty wifi card and it is not repairable. He said the phone had to be replaced, but I was out of the warranty period and I have to pay $299.00 more taxes for a replacement...

  Does anyone else have this problem? I'm quite shocked that apple refuses to fix it which is at their end in the form of a defective unit. I understand that it is out of warranty, but it is a problem of manufacturig. These phone cost US $300 more our old phone. I am not able to drop $300 + on a new phone that I feel that apple should be responsible. I have been looking online similar questions and have not yet find something.

  Millions of this model were sold. It is likely that someone else has had a problem with their WiFi card.

  I think you don't understand quite what than a guarantee. It covers all defects or failures of discovered components during the warranty period. If the phone has a two year warranty (as it would have if you had paid for AppleCare +) you would still be covered. But, if the WiFi card failed after 26 months, it would not be covered. As you are now about six months outside of your warranty, I don't know why you would expect Apple to cover a problem that you don't yet report to them until after that the guarantee was already more. You just wait for Apple to cover the failure of a component for as long as you have the phone?
