Sony A57 will not get past the screen saying written on the memory card has not been completed correctly

He put in service, took a couple of pictures, he started acting funny then it poped a message written on the memory card was not completed correctly, if you press on enter it goes to the next screen. Press ENTER again it goes back to the first screen. Someone has an idea

Thank you, a new memory card sets, I was worried cause I couldn't get to the menu screen. If other people have this happen, say that you can't in front of screens to reformat, a new sd card should do the trick

    Dayana Hello,

Thanks for posting in the Microsoft Community. I understand that you are unable to play the videos that you have imported from an SD card.

To help you better, please answer a few questions.
    1. what player you use to play the file?
    2. What is the file format of the video files which you can't play?
3 have you tried to play with different media player?

If you use Windows Media Player, you can check if the file format of the music files are supported by Windows media player using the link below.

Information on the types of media files that supports Windows Media Player

Note: If you have tried to play the file type is included in this table, the file might have been encoded with a codec that is not supported by Windows Media Player. If this is the case, Windows Media Player can not read the

If the file format is supported, you can try the following and see if it helps.
    Method 1:
Run the troubleshooting in the Windows Media Player library.
    (a) press Windows + C set, click Search, and then click settings and then in the search box, type Troubleshooting.
    (b) click on programs.
    (c) then run convenience store to Windows media player library.

    Method 2:
    1. in order to determine what codec was used with a specific file, play the file in the player, if possible. When the file is playing, right-click the file in the library, and then click Properties.
On the file tab, look at the sections of video codec and Audio codec.
2 download and install Codecs by clicking on the PLAYER tab and check. To connect to the Internet and automatically download Codecs player
    3. configure the protocol settings on the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the network tab. In the Streaming protocols area, select all the check boxes Protocol. When connecting to a server running Windows Media Services, Windows Media Player tries to use all selected protocols.
Hope the helps of information. Let us know if you need help with Windows related issues.

  • OJ6480 am not able to import photos from the memory card inserted in the printer to laptop?

I can't import pictures from my memory inserted in my OJ6480 card.  I am connected with USB and nothing appears automatically after you insert card.  Also, I used the menu photo option and he doesn't want me to import.  Help, please!  Thank you.

    Hi cafahr,

I understand you are trying to print photos from a memory card.

I find the user manual for Officejet 6480 and found the following.

After taking pictures with your digital camera, you can print them immediately or save them on your computer. To save the pictures on your computer, remove the memory card from your digital camera and insert it into the slot for card memory on the device.

    To save your photos

NOTE: Use these instructions only when you use a network connection. If you are using a USB connection, then a dialog box appears automatically on the computer when you insert the memory card into the device.

    1. Insert a memory card into the suitable location on the device.
    2. press on the picture Menu.
    3. press the arrow keys and select Photo transfer and then press OK.
    4. press the arrow keys, and then select Yes.
    5. press the arrow keys and select transfer to computer, and then select the name
    of your computer.
6 follow the prompts on the screen on your computer to save the photos to your

From what you described, the question is simple, the dialog box does not appear on the computer. What happens if you start it > computer or workstation? Do you see something here that looks like it could be the card into the printer?

Try to leave the printer and unplug the power cable (with the inserted memory card), leave the printer unplugged for about a minute and then plug it back. I want to see if this will push the communication to the computer.

Have you used this memory card in the printer before successfully? I ask because the problem may be the memory card or the memory card reader in the printer. Take a look at this link, memory card troubleshooting.

I hope it's useful. If the problem persists, please return with answers to the questions I asked, I'll gladly do some additional research and return with possible solutions. Please also let me know if you use a Mac or a WIndows OS.
