Sony Cd - Rw is not recognized

Original title: Sony Cd - Rw

I had a Sony cd - rw CRX1611 I installed 3 years ago. I did a system restore on my computer 2 years ago and shortly after, when I try to burn a cd the cd player doesn't recognize a cd in the status bar or read the cd. It ejects the cd and tells me invalid, illegible or not inserted media. I tried cd - r, dvd - r and cd - rw and it says the same thing. Any comments would be useful. Thank you

  • Sony Vaio SVE14112FXP. A few days ago the integrated webcam doesn't work. The strange thing is that it is not recognized by the administrator of the material, not even as an unknown device

    Hello

I have a Sony Vaio SVE14112FXP. A few days ago the integrated webcam doesn't work. The strange thing is that it is not recognized by the administrator of the material, not even as an unknown device. I uninstalled and installed Arcsoft Webcam Suite, which has drivers, but nothing new.
It seems that the built-in webcam is not connected.
    Thank you

See Sony support site or their forum, this is a Sony webcam

And no this isn't a feature of device, or something that should appear in the devices & Printers

I recently bought a new camera from Sony a7 - ii.  the first time I tried to import raw images taken with it (with a. Suffix ARW) the program says "Preview not available for this file" and then "files are not recognized by the raw format support in Lightroom" I have the most updated version, I think as 5.7.  What should I do to get these files imported as raw files?

    Hi Bobsirkus,

The camera you have is compatible with the latest version of Lightroom, which is Lightroom 6/CC.

Please see the list of the camera supported by Lightroom: supported by Adobe Camera Raw devices

You can use the DNG Converter, converts images and then import them into DNG in Lightroom.

  • Sony RX100 II not recognized by LR with DNG 8.2

Hello. I just bought a Sony RX100 II. I have LR 4.4 and downloaded and installed DNG Converter 8.2.0.94.  This version supports the Sony RX100 II.   I checked.

4.4 LR will not open the Sony. ARW files. In the import window, it displays the message "Preview not available for this file" on every file. When he imported from the States in the import results window "the following files have been not recognized by management of raw in Lightroom.

I have run the DNG Converter se application and used to directly open and convert these Sony RX100 II. ARW in DNG files. I then imported the DNG files in LR, and they opened the good, which is what you expect.

So my problem is that LR 4.4 with DNG 8.2 will not open these files or impoirt them, even if the DNG application not this agreement.

It almost seems that LR does not use the latest version of DNG that I downloaded. He is currently in the application directory on my iMac.

If anyone has any ideas I would be very appreciate.

4.4 LR cannot read the Sony DSC-RX100 II RAW files, but you can use the v8.2 DNG Converter to convert these files into DNG files supported which can then be imported into Lightroom.

The conversion to DNG is a separate process carried out by the DNG Converter and it cannot be done within Lightroom. If you want direct support for DSC-RX100 II of RAW files, you will need to switch to Lightroom 5.2

  • SD not recognized on the Satellite A100-787

Although the card slot recognizes the memory stick from Sony, the SD card is not recognized at all. I tried the card on the other computer and it worked fine. The driver for the card slot works well.

    Any ideas?

Sorry, but it is not easy to tell what can be the problem. What is the capacity of this SD card? You have produced high quality or some unknown manufacturer SD card?

If possible, try to get the second SD card and test how it works with your laptop Satellite A100.

  • PRS-600 USB device not recognized

I am unable to get ereader PRS-600 to be recognized by the computer (Win7).
I tried to update the software (even if I think it's in)
(date) but the window 'connect a PRS-600 to update' does not progress and the update button is dimmed.
I deleted the "unknown device" in the drivers, but when I reconnect the USB cable and the ereader, I always get the display of device not recognized and the message "USB device not recognized".

I seem to have solved the problem. I contacted Sony through esupport and a chat with a tech.

Make sure that the battery has some charge inside. Completely charge if you can.
    Stop eReader (fully)
    Remove the SD card
Press the button Reset (at the bottom of the ereader)
    Turn it on
While the display shows "Open book", at the same time press the button to "turn the page" (back) and the Volume button until the "Reset All" + screen
Enter 'Yes' to reset the ereader. You may need to configure the screen (X button with the tip to draw at various points)
If you charge the battery, you may need to contact the support chat for sorting.

    Good luck!

  • Camera connected DV Firewire/IEEE 1394 is not recognized - Qosmio F20

Hi - I wonder if anyone has any advice on the following points.

I have a Qosmio F20 running XP Media Center.
I have a JVC GR-DVM5 (old but good) camcorder with an i.Link/1394 port. Connecting a DV camera to the PCs 1394 port via a firewire cable 4 pin should recognized the camera as a device of additional hardware and install automatically.

However, the device is not recognized. Even try to be creating the device in applications such as Movie Maker, WinDVD creator, etc., does not work and the unit is not picked up by these.

All things were created according to the JVC user manual, the 1394 port works well (depending on Device Manager), and the driver is up-to-date.

According to Microsoft, the appropriate drivers are included in XP (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/300459/en-us - but still MS have failed to confirm to me that this applies to XP MCE as well as professional and Home editions.)

Can anyone provide any help! ??

    JB

It is the right word. I have connected my older Sony camcorder via firewire to Qosmio G20 and the camcorder is recognized correctly (Sony cam was listed in Device Manager). I was able to copy all saved on the HARD drive movies and create DVDs later.

Believe me it's very interesting that all devices Sony I have connected with Qosmio laptop computer were recognized correctly (two camcorders different and two digital cameras). I really don't understand what's wrong with your JVC cam.

I ve checked a digital video forum and a guy with the same problem reported that he was able to connect the cam when the cam is placed in the docking station. Can you please try the same thing?

Of course, the cam must be turned on.

  • Solution: The USB floppy drive is not recognized during installation of XP of RAID

    Hello

This Solution is for notebooks Qosmio with RAID driver during (manual installation of windows)

I found the Solution to this problem,

[When you install Microsoft Windows XP by using a floppy drive USB on a player who]
requires a driver during the installation, the USB floppy drive is not recognized in all
installation. When Windows XP searches the driver of the second time, he will not be able to see
the floppy USB drive drive and prompts the user for the driver (RAID) again.
The installation will never reach this point. ]

    Solution:

This is a limitation of Microsoft, the Floppy Drive are do not appear in the file Windows 'txtsetup.sif.

Simply change the floppy drive in another brand and avoid Usb 2.0 external Usb floppy plus old 1 Try
Also note the back of drive sometimes they write (no bootable) avoid this also

  • DCR-TRV460 USB connection not recognized

Connection USB DCR-TRV460 is not recognized by Windows 7 Home Premium.

According to Sony, it is not supported and no downloads are available.

My daughter was married last week. His entire marriage is recorded on the tape in the camcorder above. Not realizing there is a problem downloading the pictures stored in the computer, I'm mortified loss. I expect to transfer, edit, and create several DVDs for the family.

Please, can someone help me with a solution to this problem? I'm desperate!

    Thank you for your message.
The DCR-TRV460, unfortunately, is not compatible with the windows operating system 7. If you used a stick of memory to record the video, then you can just insert the memory stick on your computer. Assuming that you used the Ribbon, your other option is to connect the camcorder to a compatible PC and transfer the video files to a memory stick or CD. You can download the files on your own pc to edit and make more copies. I suggest to use the memory stick in the camera so that you can easily download files on your home pc

  • HDR HC3 be not recognized by computer with XP

If the USB connection is not recognized, try the following steps:

    • Make sure a Memory Stick is inserted and recognized correctly by the camcorder;

    • Slide the MODE switch repeatedly until the PLAY/EDIT is on;

    • Value [USB SELECT] [Memory Stick];

    • Disconnect other devices to your computer;

    • Try a different USB port. If you are using a desktop computer, try the USB ports at the back of the CPU Tower.

    • Try a different USB cable, if possible;

    • Press the RESET button using a pointed object. The RESET button is located on the front of the lid of the cassette compartment.

  • HP LaserJet P1102: USB not recognized during installation of HP LaserJet P1102

I have a Sony Vaio VPCEH computer laptop with Windows 7 and when I run the disk I got with the printer on my laptop, that the installation procedure works in what concerns the section "Install printer Software". When you are prompted to turn on the printer and connect the cable USB to the laptop it says 'USB not recognized '.  I tried all 4 slots USB into my laptop but the USB still appears as an unknown device with an exclamation point in a yellow triangle. I searched internet solutions and tried to uninstall the unknown device in Device Manager and restart the installation with the disc, I also tried clicking on the unknown device driver software update but it says the software driver is up to date and still, it shows as an unknown device and is not recognized. I also tried to uninstall the HP software from the disc on my laptop and that reinstall but nothing has worked. I felt for over 2 weeks now and have not been able to use it because of this problem and I really need for University, so I would be very happy if someone could please give me a solution to this problem

    Hi @Janemaguire,

Have you tried another USB cable?

Because the printer is not detected on the Mac, it may be the USB port of the printer.

What happened when you tried to install the printer on Mac?

    Error messages?

What is the model Laserjet P1102w?

    Let me know. Thank you.

  • "ipconfig" is not recognized as internal or external, command an executable program or batch file

I get this error for all that is registered. I even tried to show ip and got the error that 'show' was not recognized. I am not able to connect to the modem and my internet provider refuses to help with my connection until it is resolved. Can anyone help?

I am using Microsoft Windows XP.

I had the same problem on my Sony VAIO, running Windows XP Professional SP3.

My problem is that the 'PATH' environment variable does NOT include "C:\WINDOWS\system32".

Any executable in this folder could only be run from a cmd prompt if the command includes the full path.

Solution for me: Add "C:\WINDOWS\system32;" at the beginning of my variable of environment PATH, like this:

    Log in with administrator privileges.
Right click on 'My Computer' and select 'properties '.
    Click the "Advanced" tab
    Click the "Environment Variables" button
In the "System Variables" box, scroll down to 'PATH' and highlight it.
    Click on the button "Edit".
In the "value of the Variable:" box, add at the beginning of the text "C:\WINDOWS\system32"; without my quotes.
Make sure you include the semicolon.
    Click OK three times.

No reboot needed. If this is your problem, then ipconfig should work immediately.
