Sony Handycam DCR-30 does not work on my computer
I tried my video camera to work on my computer, but he doesn't find anything that allows her to work.
Hi James, thanks for helping me. I ended up going to Best Buy, because I was a complete jerk and using the wrong cord to connect to my computer. I ended up using one of the cords of my digital camera that is also connected to my video camera to try to connect to my computer. That was the problem at the moment. The main problem is that after I found the right cord I ended up discovering that I don't have a connection to the firewall on my laptop and so I need to get a special socket to get my cord to connect because you can't connect with a USB cable (that sucks). in any case, that the special connector would end by cost me more than 55 dollars and so I just used my mac laptop has she not a connection to the firewall on the side there.

Camera Sony HandyCam DCR-TRV280 is not recognized by Windows 7
I have a Sony HandyCam DCR-TRV280, a Toshiba L505D-S5963 running Windows 7 Home Premium 32 - bit. My PC does not recognize the camera. I loaded all drivers and updates to date mentioned above, but when you say to "go into the Device Manager and find the entry for the firewire (IEEE1394) change the driver for the IEEE1394 driver LEGACY and now your camcorder will be able to speak correctly on your PC.", my device driver does not list an IEEE 1394 device. However, I tried to load the copy and save the 1394bus.sys to C:\Windows\system32\drivers file, but it will not accept a .inf, .sys not file. I really appreciate all the information below, but would appreciate a little more help. Thank you
Hello Softail1015,
In addition to the response of Amrita M, please relay exact model number and type of the Sony camcorder. You can also view the link below, provided by the manufacturer of the device that contains compatibility information and pilot for the Handycam from Sony DCR-TRV280 Digital8 camcorder:
http://eSupport.Sony.com/us/Perl/SWU-list.pl?MDL=DCRTRV280&SelectOS=46#div_pos_124
In addition, it seems that the Sony DCR-TRV280 may require an IEEE 1394 connection to transfer the video from the camcorder to the computer. You can also check with the manufacturer of the device to check if the Sony DCR-TRV280 supports the transfer of DV via USB or USB streaming.
You can also view the link below, provided by the manufacturer of the device that describes the steps to know how to transfer video to a computer using an i.LINK (IEEE 1394) connection using the digital camcorder:
http://www.KB.Sony.com/selfservice/documentLink.do?externalId=C111893
I hope this information is useful.
Thank you

Hi Marvin,.
Thank you for the quick update.
Yes, I understand your question. However, if the programs worked with an earlier version of Windows, they can work with Windows or Windows 10 8.1 if you install programs in compatibility mode. If you access the executable file (.exe) for the game, I suggest you follow the steps provided below:
Step 1: Download and save programs on the desktop.
Step 2: Install the programs in compatibility mode.
- Right click on the .exe file and click Properties.
- Go to the compatibility tab.
- Check the box for run this program in compatibility mode for:
- In the list of operating systems, select Windows Vista (or any other compatible OS) .
- Click OK.
- Double-click the executable file to install the program and follow the instructions on the screen.
- Restart your computer.
Additional information:
Make the programs more compatible with this version of Windows

Less than two months ago, I upgraded my HP Jet Windows 7 to 10. Over time some questions popped up (random apps that could not be opened, etc.) so I decided to do a full reset, deleting the files from the user. Once the 'install' process is complete he brought me to the initial configuration for Windows 10 screen, asking me my keyboard and language preference. He would not accept any contact entry. I rebooted it and he went to the advanced configuration where I could use the touch screen to do a complete reset. That has not changed anything. I found the info on the HP website and did a reset of the BIOS. That has not changed anything. I got an OTG cable, but was not able to get a keyboard work. I did, however, get a mouse works and has managed to create a new user and login. However, the touchscreen does not work in Windows. I was able to get into the settings and looked at the Device Manager settings. There was only a mouse driver listed under Human Interface. I also noticed a number of question marks in the subtopic of the processor drivers.
I was able to use the OTG cable to try to re - install Windows 10 from a USB key. When a similar initial settings (language, keyboard) screen broke, I couldn't use the touchscreen. Later, I created a USB with Windows 8.1 thinking he might have a better chance. The same problem. He does not touch inputs. And with a key USB installed via the OTG cable, I can't launch a mouse at the same time.
It is strange that I have not the problem in the BIOS or advanced startup options. It seems that there is a corruption somewhere, but how do I fix?
Hello Moronihah,
You did a clean install (delete all files and programs) the 2nd time you reinstalled Windows 10?
That's what you need to do first.
Then, you have to go to the HP website and install the drivers on your USB.
Above all, you need to include the Goodix Touch Controller Driver and pilot, allowing Malta G-Sensor.
HP Software and Driver Downloads
You're using a hub 4 ports with your OTG cable? Which will allow you to use the mouse, the keyboard and the entire USB drive.

Hello
> first of all, I had a problem with VGA, send it for repair, when she comes back, I noticed that the remote does not work on windows Media Center, while that in A / mode V work perfectly.
If you had a problem with the VGA chip then the whole motherboard has been replaced.
Maybe it has something to do with your problem.Anyway, as far as I know you don t need any special drivers if you want to use the MCE Remote control. For the use of the remote control with Qosmio player you need to connect a USB infrared.

Satellite A505-s6970: Toshiba Service Station does not work on Windows 7
Hey guys I need your help,
I installed windows 7 ultimate on my toshiba Satellite A505 s6970 and I downloaded all the drivers from http://www.csd.toshiba.com/ and I installed all.
When I open the Device Manager, 3 devices are not installed (Base-2 system device / / 1-Unknown device).
Then I installed toshiba service station (Windows Vista / 7 32-64 bit because my windows is 64) it will search for and automatically download all necessary devices, but it does not work on windows 7, it worked perfectly in windows vista. Also the eco utility does not work, and the media touch buttons work just fine, but without giving that voice tone.
Thanks for your help
Hello
To be honest I have no experience with this tool.
I m using Tempro. However, I guess that Toshiba service station was not tested and not designed for Win 7 at the moment.
You may need to wait for the next update that works correctly with Windows 7.You must understand that the Windows 7 drivers have been released in Beta version, it would mean that the final version would be released in the near future
In my opinion, you should take a look from time to time on the Toshiba page we.
I noticed that each new day pilot is released and released. -
1670 CDS satellite - modem does not work on Windows 2000
Hi-
I removed the Toshiba W98SE and installed Win 2000 (new installation). I managed to put it on the audio driver using downloads on your website (and it works).
I do a test on the dial installation upward and that you have installed the modem also since your website (Conexant Soft K56 Data, Fax PCI Modem). This is intended for W98SE but microsoft message is
The port looks ok. Please advise - is it the right driver?
Thank you.
A Windows 98 driver does not work on Windows 2000. Therefore, you need a new driver for Windows 2000.
I have checked the Toshiba site but your model no available Windows 2000 driver exists.
I think you have to search the site of the factory of the modem. Maybe you can find a driver or another portable model that has the same modem.Good luck!
