  CS6 current versions are perpetual Mac version 10.0.6 version 13.0.1.3 Windows and Mac and Windows version 13.1.2 subscription.  The current version of ACR for CS6 is ACR 9.0 latest ACR has however are not active in any version of CS6.  Brand new available in CS6 camera support.    If you can not CS6 update to the current version of your system you need to fix this problem.

  When you re-installed Photoshop, you also re-installed the version of Camera Raw comes with Photoshop - in other words came back you to an old version of Camera Raw, which does not support the D5100.

  Camera raw 7.0 is the reason why your files does not open, because they require at least camera raw 7.1

  If you go to help > updates in photoshop cs6, it list no updates available?

  You have the perpetual license (you bought cs6) version of CS6 or creative cloud (subscription) version?

  I tried to use Camera Raw in Bridge CC but is disabled, with or without Photoshop CC 2015 running.  I did the updates, watched tutorial video but not yet found WHY Camera Raw does not work in the bridge.

  I use a Mac computer with Photoshop CS5 work installed on it.  I've been shooting RAW images on a Canon 6 d, but the. CR2 files will not open on the installation of Camera Raw.  Photoshop is version 12.0.4 x 64.

  I tried updates following, but to no avail:

  AdobeCameraRaw - 6.7.1 - mul-AdobeUpdate

  AdobeCameraRaw - 7.1 - mul-AdobeUpdate-2

  Any ideas that I can do to fix this?

  your need cr 7.3 or better.

  PS cs5 can only update cr 6.7.

  I have thus upgraded to a Sony A58 camera and did a photoshoot. When I downloaded my files Adobe Bridge, just showed me the file type icon and wouldn't listen to samples. I also read up here in the forum that CS5 only upgrades Camera Raw plugins to date. I need at least 7.4 to open files. So this means that I have to buy a new version of photoshop to work on these files? Or is there a cheaper solution? Please help, it's my income and I can't be delayed too long on these images to give a customer.

  If you have CS5, there goes that Adobe Camera Raw 6.7 and you need to 7.4.

  There is a free way out. Convert the raws in DNG format to be able to open them in 6.7

  First download and install the DNG Converter.

• Not opening in Bridge RAW images

  I have recently updated my CC of Photoshop to the 2015 version and not trying to open RAW images in Bridge they happen like a blue screen with an X on it.  I do not see the image but I can hit open an image and it will open in Photoshop.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  In Bridge > Camera Raw Preferences, uncheck the box use Graphics Processor.

When I send pictures to Camera Raw in bridge, twisting them and make everything beautiful, I want to finally send them into Photoshop to finish my treatment. Camera Raw seems to want to send to Photoshop CS6. I can't get it to open them in Photoshop CC. I guess miss me a setting somewhere but does not know where he is. I am aware that I could just record all Camera Raw files then drag and drop them into Photoshop CC, but is that really necessary extra step?

  I have a Canon EOS 6 d, a desktop computer running Windows 10, Adobe Photoshop CS6 and I've already updated my Camera Raw to 9.2 (the latest version as far as I know) and I only need 7.3. I just downloaded the zip file, extract the file, ran the .exe and went to photoshop to open my Raw file, and it says it is not supported. Am I missing a step? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

  ACR 9.1.1 is the last and one for the CS6. However, CC ACR features are disabled in CS6. Camera for CS6 support | Adobe Customer Care Team

  9.2 the cab is for CC, CC 2014, 2015 CC and bridge CC.

  Eager to start using plug in Camera Raw for PS CS6, I find that it is not active. (1) in Bridge CS6, ACR in main menu icon is gray. (2) after you click on an image in Bridge JPEG file, then right click on it, it has no option to open in Camera Raw. (3) by using the file menu of the bridge, there is no visible Camera Raw option; and (4) in PS CS6, from File > Open, then choosing 'Camera Raw' in the drop-down list of options activate, each JPEG file is grayed out.

  My attempts to activate Camera Raw involve (1) download DNG Converter 8.7.1 and (2) try to download ACR 8.3... Update from Adobe. That second effort failed, receive this error code: "Camera Raw 8.3 (CS6) U44M2P7. I currently have AdobeCameraRaw7.0ALL and AdobeCameraRawProfile7.0ALL installed on a Mac under OS10.7.6.

  I don't know what else to do. Please tell me how to activate Camera Raw using Photoshop CS6.

  Do not convert the images, try to open them directly in Ps CC 2015

  D500 is supported in the latest camera raw 9.5 so, you should be able to openthem directly.
