Sony SLT - A58K continuous shooting Mode

I noticed that when taking pictures in continuous mode, the first Salvo fires quickly, but it seems to go more slowly to take the photo and the LCD screen or viewfinder (if you use it) shows the flashing of image and suggest you do not get anywhere near the 8 shots per second - also after a while it seems to pause before continuing

Here is a video showing it - could it be down to memory card or is it problem with camera

Hi walkerx

I don't see the link of the video, but I'm guessing it's a problem of small buffer.

Here is a site that lists buffer tests:
http://www.Imaging-Resource.com/prods/Sony-A58/Sony-a58A6.htm

It seems to me that the motorway a58 unfortunately just has a small buffer - that means, it grows quickly, but his memory will fill up very quickly and start to slow as he tries to face to save the photos on the memory card to clear its internal memory to take more pictures.

If you are not already using at least a class 10, try that, but honestly I don't think it will help with the burst mode, single shots (where images are saved faster to the map)

Looking at the tests from the link above, it seems that the a58 motorway has just a very small buffer - only designed to do a few quick bursts, not shooting continuously

HI - A58 supports the SDXC standard so there should be no limit in the range of reasonable ability. In theory, SDXC standard is up to 2 TB...

  • Shooting mode continues ELPH 330

I decided to finally try my Elph 330 burst mode, but for the life of me I can't figure out what it is supposed to do. From the manual, it looks like I should be able to hold the shutter button and the camera will snap photos continuously, but no matter what I try just a single image. I am sure that I have continuous mode, and by the manual I have not all settings on this conflict with the burst mode. Am I misunderstanding the purpose of the continuous mode shooting? Or is there some other secret which is not in the manual?

Yes, it is the intention of the Rafale; you press the button, and it takes several shots.  It is possible that some shooting modes do not allow in burst mode.  I guess he has a sport mode, try this to see if it works.

  • Sony SLT-A55V duplicates Photos

I have a Sony SLT-A55V and I had this problem where sometimes, but not everytime, when I take pictures, I end up with a duplicate that appears slightly darker than the original.  Why my camera doesn't do cela and how do I disable this feature?

    Thank you!

It is possible that you have one of the bracketing options selected. Try changing the drive Mode Single Shot Adv. or another appropriate setting.

  • Re: Canon G5X - how can I turn off continuous shooting option

How can I make the default camera in the simple image shooting mode or, better yet, disable burst altogether. I spend too much time remove multiple pictures. I know how to select the mode of single shot in the system menu, but from time to time, probably because I press a function key without realizing it, I find it bac in mode Continuus.

    Hi Pjafla,

Thank you for taking the time to post.

When you press the arrow pointing UPWARDS on the back of the camera, you will see options to 'Drive'.  Currently, you should see > highlight.  Use the left or right arrow to select >, and then press the FUNC SET button.

  • Forms 10g / 11g in Servlet mode vs. shooting mode.

    Hello

We are trying to push to the top of oracle forms 10g / 11g performance due to network latency problem. I read that we can also run Oracle Forms 11 g / 10g in the current shooting mode which uses 40% less bandwidth, but it comes together with EBS R12. ( http://blogs.oracle.com/stevenChan/2009/06/which_is_better_forms_servlet_or_socket_mode.html )

I want to know that can we run that Oracle Forms 11 g / 10 g in socket mode. In the affirmative. Please provide the configuration forms11g / 10g in socket mode.

    Thank you and best regards,
    Noman

Be careful here - performance problems may be the result of many issues - provides a little less network in terms of physical bytes (bytes can be physical?), but which does not always improve performance. You also have other potential problems, for example, if you have any firewall or proxy on your network.

Bottom line is that for customers not apps you are not supported to run in shooting mode - and even once, even if you were, he could not help you.

  • Start the Sony VAIO laptop in safe mode

computer laptop Sony vaio begins to start in safe mode and load drivers stop at \windows\system32\drivers\disk/sys and stays there. What can I do?

    Hello

Have you connected external devices other than the keyboard and mouse?

It seems to be a problem with the disk drivers. I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

Run the Startup Repair tool and check if it helps.

    Startup Repair: frequently asked questions:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/startup-repair-frequently-asked-questions

    Method 2:

The access system recovery option and then run restore the system to a point when the computer was working fine and check if it helps.

What are the system recovery options in Windows Vista?

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/what-are-the-system-recovery-options-in-Windows-Vista

If you have connected the external devices other that the keyboard and mouse, and then disconnect the external device and then restart the computer and check if that helps.

    Hope the information is useful.

  • Video taken in continuous shooting?

Hi everyone, a rather strange question, but I was wondering if the Z2 can shoot continuously or if there is a time limit? I know it can also depend on how much space you have (I have a 64 GB btw SD micro card), but I thought to use the phone like a camcorder and I was wondering how long I can keep shooting, for the wise men of the battery life?

I think that the limit will be 4 GB due to the FAT32.

  • Run in continuous flow mode

Could someone explain to me exactly what it is and how I put this in the package.ini

Continuous running means that you are not having the package locally on the hard drive of customer but located on a central location and run the application by downloading only the blocks needed to execute and run the application. Run always takes place on the local client.

Our streaming delivery model requires only that you place the packets on a network share. Point users on the package (the simplest method would be to provide a shortcut) and users can now start using the application. You can use thinreg.exe (found in the ThinApp Utilities folder) to check in your remote packages to create an appearance of locally installed applications... We do not put anything hidden locally and that your machines are kept clean absolutes...

There is no necessary to package.ini parameters... All the ThinApp packages can both be used in a streaming mode or be deployed locally on disk.

I started my answer a long time ago while waiting for a reboot and am just finally getting back to it.  I see that you got another another answer in the meantime.  On the outbreak of reference, here is another link that might help some: Acq suite w / Ref Trig

I did have not tinkered with reference trigger a lot, so not sure what is meant in the link above about the task being an acquisition over 'the end'.  Maybe the task continues to fill the buffer just before there about to overwrite the first sample of pre-trigger?

In any case, my original thought the whole thing was on another track.  If the trigger Ref works for you, it'll be easier.   But if Ref trigger causes the acquisition of stop * and * you really need to keep it going permanently, then consider the things below:

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Passage of the continuous sampling done will require the judgment and the reprogramming of your task, and you will have a 'blind spot' of data loss, while what is happening.

An approach that I think is to stick to a sampling WAS continuous, but also set up a counter task that can count it HAVE examples of clock and capture on the trigger signal.  The captured value of count will be HAVE it taste # when the trigger has occurred, and then easily post-process you your data HAVE to find the subset that represents your data before and after the desired trigger.
