Sound generator

Hi people.

I need a sound generator. However, mi generator doesn't produce a continuous sound. Could you help me?

Thank you.

Hello

Go to help in the toolbar can find examples, look for sound and locate the "Generate sound.vi" The Express VI is not to produce continuous sounds. By the way you should avoid using Express live using screw Express is like peeing in your pants a cold winter day. You can get hotter for a few minutes. But after that, it will be very cold.

  • Skype no sound during the first call, a constant buzzing afterwards.

    Hello

    I'm running Debian unstable, and I've recently updated my system after several months of not doing (the last time was before the latest version of Debian). Once the upgrade is finished, I noticed that Skype (I have 4.2) had ceased to work properly with the following symptoms:

    • If I make a call immediately after the start of Skype, I get no sound. I can see in the controls of PulseAudio that Skype has opened an output stream, and yet nothing comes out the speakers. The microphone, on the other hand, works fine (the other part of the call confirmed that they could hear me).
    • If I can put an end to this call and try to start another one, without leaving Skype first, a buzzing begins at the time the call is trying to produce a sound. The buzz persists even after that I ended the call and indeed persists until I have quit Skype.

    Since I've updated many packages at once, it is virtually impossible to tell what package updates may have caused this. In addition, the problem is specific to Skype; all other sound generating programs work very well. In any case, I would be happy to provide you with additional information that might help.

    Thank you

    Vasilis

    I actually "solved" this by running Skype from the command-line in the following way:

    PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC = 30 Skype

    It is still is not ideal because it does not work out of the box, but it does the trick. However, in the meantime, it stopped recognizing my webcam, so things aren't great yet. :-(

    Thank you for giving me the idea!  I have connected my ipad, with a sound generator application, to a presto little bass amp! It worked.  Now I have to experience the frequencies to determine the best resonance of guitar.

  • Toshiba NB550D no noise from subwoofer

    There was no game sound of the subwoofer to my nb550d (the speaker below) although I turned the volume up.
    Any people has this problem and how you can solve this problem?

    TKS

    Hi mate

    What subwoofer do you mean?
    The NB550 does not support the subwoofers

    Some models are equipped with a loudspeaker that is placed at the bottom of the device, but this isn't a subwoofer this speaker makes sounds generated by the software and audio alarms this condition low battery, generated by the system

    So normally you should hear just short beep from the speaker.

  • Do not understand the point of layout mode...

    I'm afraid it will make me look like an idiot, but... I just don't, so well, I'm missing something.

    Here's my situation: I have two USB MIDI devices connected to my computer, an edrum with 8 pads and a keyboard 25 keys, touch 16 and a bunch of buttons. Both devices allow me to completely configure the MIDI channel, note, the key pads, etc. and so on.

    So, ok, in my APPLICATION I plug just those, create a track for each instrument, I want to play, say each track to listen to a particular channel for a particular instrument, and I'm all set. The keys on the keyboard go to the channel where the synth plugin is listening, keyboard on another channel where a sampler is listening, and keys edrum go to a third channel where Superior Drummer is listening, etc. My edrums me has even let press a button to change between "kits", altering what channel/notes sends each pad, so I can load up, say, multiple instances of Superior Drummer and switch between them on the fly. Large.

    MainStage has much latency better than my DAW, so I'm trying to switch, but after searching around here, and by reading the manual (where the "Connecting MIDI instruments" section is literally just a diagram showing how to connect a MIDI cable and nothing else), I still feel stuck. It seems that I have to start by loading a concert (either drums or keyboards, but not two and no option for a clean slate), then shove a virtual representation of one of my instruments has not been included in the concert I have loaded and then link each individual pad notes not only a unit, not just a channel, but a specific (ditto the high/low notes on the keyboard).

    Why am associating notes with pictures of the pads when the whole point is that the notes are generated by the real thing?

    Why can't just say 'send some signals come from channel 1 device edrum to this plugin', and so on?

    Why am I spent the time to mount images of a keyboard and 24 portions on my screen (surprisingly difficult) when all I care gets ratings generated by a physical device to sounds generated by a plugin?

    Why this strange intermediaries?

    I know that mainstage is very well regarded by people who know more about this kind of things I do, so what I'm missing here? If I use the wrong tool for what I want to do, any suggestions for what I should try instead?

    If I understand the situation, all you really need to do is get rid of any control layout, you don't want, create the MIDI activity 2 monitors (1 for the keyboard, the other the drumpads), assign entries noon then label 2 devices for clarity.

    In edit mode, just do as you describe: assign one controls the activity of MIDI to a particular slice.

  • Audio plays not

    Hi I have a HP M6-1001 a B6H90EA #ABU which I just purchased ex-ecran (no disc media with it!)

    running windows 7

    I can't play all audio files, through any multimedia software, I tried the Player Windows Media, HP Mediasmart and bee music.

    Although the laptop sounds generated audio, (sysem sounds!)

    I can't find the Beats Audio on my laptop either.

    The drivers seem to be later according to the help system.

    Any ideas what I need to do?

    Please

    Scott

    Hi Scott,.

    Try the following.

    Download IDT Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp56501-57000/sp56953.exe

    One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

    When you're done, shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

    Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f5 to load the default values (sometimes it's f9, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

    Allow Windows to fully - charge it will automatically load an audio driver, but let just this complete.  Then open your download folder, right-click on the IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once this done, do a right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select playback devices.  'Speakers and headphones' left click once to highlight, and then click the Set Default button - check if your audio files will play now and that there is an entry for Beats audio in the Control Panel/taskbar.

    Kind regards

  • How to record a signal all on *.wav

    I am trying to record a *.wav sound generated by the sinus function. I cannot record the signal of all, I can only get 1 second sound - I'm kind new to this and I have so I am struggling to get this to work.

    Due to the writing to the wav format does not allow to add (I guess I might need to use another way to save information), I put next to the loop so that the file save only one loop is over. I need to find a way to get all the information in the queue, so I use Mathscript

    Down while the loop has a tunnel that will display only the data of the last iteration.

    What you need to do is add data, but put the waveform in a registry change so that it is available for the next iteration to be able to add more data to it.

  • Convert stereo mono and play in the two lanes

    I use a stereo to mono plug to convert the sound coming out of my rear jack Mono in the hope of getting the full signal (left and right channels) for play in each speaker stereo. When you use the form, I receive his mono out of the left speaker only and no sound from the right speaker.

    I tried two different stereo to mono converters and do not think that is the problem.
    I know that I can't simply mono audio in Win7 (wtf, btw?) and my integrated sound card does not either mono output.
    Background: I am deaf in my left ear and needed a solution to this for the games while wearing a helmet. In the games that I play, the sound is directional (playback of sounds generated in the left channel to the left of your character) who, being deaf in one ear, I do not. The games allow either for conversion to mono output.
    The ideal solution would be to play l/r channels combined on both speakers, but I'll settle for playing the left channel through the right speaker. Return the helmet is not an option because of the way they fit.

    I had the same problem, I will use a hardware solution rather.

  • the chain loop

    I have a DDE.

    There's a chain like that... "A00-00', which is the number of rev."

    I need to display the next rev_number... means... I need to display ' ' 00 A01, a02-00 and so on... until 99.»

    How to increment this?

    Please notify

    Reg
    AR

    If it is a fixed number of 100 you need to generate both then you can simply use CONNECT BY and generate the number like this.

    select substr(rev_number, 1, 1) || to_char(no, 'fm09') || '-00' rev_number
      from (
               select level-1 no
                 from dual
              connect by level <= 100
           )
     cross
      join (
               select 'A00-00' rev_number
                 from dual
           );

    If the sound generated way timely (one at a time) and you must maintain sequence then you must use the SEQUENCE of object and do it.

    But your question is not very clear. So, it would be useful to you to explain to your goal of the company.

  • the continuous LOOP until recording recovered

    In my stored procedure, I have a loop where to look for the file arrives on a directory. So what I need is THAT LOOP must continually search for the file and once sound generated then come out and return the results. Also, I want to have 5 minute delay, if the file creates no less than 5 minutes, then he should give the message and LOOP should end. How can I do? I tried with the next LOOP, but it did not work.

    I am using oracle 11g R2 - Enterprise Edition 11.2.0.1.

    LOOP
    Select * in table search_unique_Sequence (sys.get_dir_list('D:\temp\'|| uniqueSequence |) (("* .xml '));
    If search_unique_Sequence NULL <>
    Then
    dbms_output.put_line (uniqueSequence);
    EXIT;
    END IF;

    When I ran the SQL from the command prompt, it runs and returns the folder.
    SELECT * from table(sys.get_dir_list('D:\temp\441*.xml');

    But I need above LOOP
    1. to constantly search for file, for example 550_todaysdate.xml, and one time that the file is generated, found in a LOOP can break out of the LOOP and provide the file name
    2. in addition, if the LOOP could not find the file within 5 minutes, then end the LOOP

    Gurus: Your help is appreciated.
    Thank you

    I'd probably also put an event trigger in the process that moves the file, or a have an OS level file listener, but if you were determined to do in PLSQL, he structurally could look something like this.

       exit_loop                BOOLEAN DEFAULT FALSE;
       process_iterations       NUMBER DEFAULT 0;
    BEGIN
       WHILE exit_loop = FALSE
       LOOP
          process_iterations := process_iterations + 1;

          BEGIN
              SELECT * INTO search_unique_Sequence FROM TABLE (sys.get_dir_list ('D:\temp\' || uniqueSequence || '*.xml'));

              exit_loop := TRUE;

             --

          EXCEPTION
             WHEN NO_DATA_FOUND
             THEN
                DBMS_LOCK.sleep (30);
          END;

          IF process_iterations >= 10 and exit_loop = FALSE
          THEN
             exit_loop := TRUE;
             DBMS_OUTPUT.put_line ('The file never arrived.');
          END IF;
       END LOOP;
    END;

  • Helps with decoding MCE (Proc AMD)

    Hello

    I have a few machines that are spend by GROUP from time to time constantly in my environment. Debugging on them and discovered it's certainly a matter of hardware. Had approached the seller and asked them to made a the memory check, but they mentioned that memory is very good. I had tried to decode the registers in the dump file and got the information below. Because they say that it is L1 cache somewhere down the line, is - this means that the motherboard had to be replaced since L1 resides on the motherboard or I am that interpret wrongly? Appreciate feedback on it! See you soon!

    C:\Program Files\AMD\MCat > mcat 4 0xb600000000000135 0x00000000bc39ebc0 0

    Processor number: 0

    The Bank: 4

    (X 0) timestamp: 00000000 00000000

    Status of the error (0 x): B6000000 00000135

    Error (x 0) address: 00000000 BC39EBC0

    Single bit errors:

    State of the corrupted by error

    Valid address of error in MCi_ADDR

    Error reporting active

    Error uncorrected

    Error invalid

    Memory error code:

    Type of transaction memory: data read (DRD)

    Transaction type: data

    Cache level: level 1 (L1)

    North Bridge error MC4:

    Extended error code: 0 x 0 - ECC error

    Error code: 0 x 0135

    Access to DRAM memory (MEM) data read (DRD), level 1 cache (L1)

    Fixed single-bit ECC

    ECC Syndrome: 0x00

    Address error 3011 MB

    I disagree with rparker here - a MCE is not something that is generated by ESX - sound generated by the CPU.  Here, his appeal very precisely the problem:

    Extended error code: 0 x 0 - ECC error

    Error code: 0 x 0135

    Access to DRAM memory (MEM) data read (DRD), level 1 cache (L1)

    You have a bad cache L1 on the CPU - you will need to replace the CPU.

    (Parker is right about the use of devices supported - its always a better choice, but there's nothing here that suggests HW on the list not supported).

  • Its not sent over the network via the Console remotely?

    When I connect to a Win XP VM via the network by using the Remote Console.  The sounds generated by the VM do not pass to the Remote Console but are heard to the host machine.  Is it possibe to have passed to the computer running the Console sounds remotely?

    Thank you!

    Rick

    As others have said implicitly... the remote console is not the best way to connect remotely to your virtual machines. It is best used only for management purposes.

    The RC is not effective - it uses too much resources on your host - or it has lots of features.

    It is better to use a tool like remote desktop on linux or microsoft using something like freeNX or even VNC flavors.

  • xfa.host.setFocus (); beep problem

    xfa.host.setFocus (Expand); is placed below the text field. When cursore enters the field 'expand', a tone is created.

    How can I stop it?

    Hello

    All the sounds you hear using created LiveCycle Forms is sounds generated by your operating system - not PDFcreated and therefore not controlled by the authoring software. Sounds can be changed in the control panel - system sounds. There are no other ways to overcome what I know.

    I know that the fact that this has - I did not like it. However, I changed my sound Setup using a theme provided by Win7 and have a much more enjoyable experience. But all users can hear what they hear, according to the settings on their operating system. I have no control over this part of the user experience.

    Good luck!

  • How to generate a sound (tone) without clicking noise and how to select the left or right speaker

    Hi all

    I try to write write a VI that generates a pure sound of specific frequency and volume, and then sends this tone to a speaker or other (left or right) to be used to teach students about Audiology (hearing these tests may have taken where you hear a noise in one ear or the other).  I created a rather primitive VI to accomplish this, but I am plagued with a number of questions:

    (1) certain frequencies, but not all, the VI produces a rattling at the start and stop of the tone (I think this is related to repeat the configuration and the appeal of the material, but I do not know how to configure it in advance and avoid it - and why he created the clicking sound at all frequencies?).

    (2) at certain frequencies (14000 Hz and more), I do not hear the tone at all on my computer speakers (I still hear the click before and after, but I do not hear the tone.) I know what you might think, but no, this isn't a hearing loss from me :-)

    (3) I would like to be able to direct the tone selectively to the left or right speaker, but at the moment my VI only allows me to choose the 'number of channels' (who I presume "2ch" means left and right), but I don't know how selectively choose only one channel or another.

    Thank you for your helpful suggestions you can offer,

    Eric
