Sound is played through speakers with headphones plugged?

I had just driven back one of my audio drivers (which is Cirrus Logic CS4206A AB 78) after the last version is not about me. Who restored the sound from the computer, but after trying to plug my headphones into the headphone, I tried to play video files and the sound played through your PC speakers, not headphones. What happens, and is it possible to solve?

  • Re: Satellite A200 PSAF6A - his plays through speakers using headphones

When I plug my headphones into the port, nothing happens, still plays through the speakers.
Is it drivers or something, because I want it redownload.
    I have a Toshiba Satellite A200 PSAF6A.

    Hello

This seems to be an Australian series for Toshiba laptop.
    You can find it here:
    http://www.ISD.Toshiba.com.au

You will find the audio driver and the most recent BIOS.

But I recommend to check the sound settings first.
I guess that's a Realtek audio chip in the Realtek audio Manager panel you could supply some parameters that control the headphones and speakers.

Tab of reading on the right you will find the headset by clicking right into this and check the options that are available.

AW, pods, I just was joking on the field.  :-)

Normal mode: ring phone calls through loudspeakers only with headphones attached.  Text messages to SMS alerts through the main speakers only.  BlackBerry Messenger depends on profile settings > advanced > Edit, but the default for normal / off Holster for a new message is 'none', then you may want to change this setting.  In the default case on vibrate.  BB Alert Messenger is audible through the loudspeakers in or out of the default case in Normal mode. It seems that his BB Messenger alerts and new Messages only through the main speakers in Normal mode, but I had a problem receiving messages out of the 8830 World Edition test unit I was using to send to my AT & T "BOLD"... probably because I was trying to send through Sprint.  : - þ

  • I have a problem with the sound to be heard through speakers and headphones.

Original title: Ok, this is really annoying - need help (Audio)

OK, so I have a motherboard Asrock z77 Pro 3 that supports the audio 7.1.
But I have a stereo speaker 2.1 only. So I plugged in any case and began to use - the bizzare thing, is when I connect headphones through the headphone jack on the front, the sound is produced by headphones and speakers. I need to stop this.

Is it OK to connect a 2.1 to 7.1 channel speakers? (by any channel 1 output).

    Realtek drivers installed.

When you are using speakers stereo use decision-making (lime green) front speaker.

Many cable front have two different connectors to connect to the motherboard.
A (HD Audio if I remember correctly) allows to disable the outputs back when you connect the headphones to the output on the front panel.

When you use the right connector you should see the option switch when you
connect or disconnect the headset if you have Panel-Sound-open reading.
Speakers should be 'default' when the headphones are not connected and when the reverse
    You then connect.

  • How to make sound to play through my headphones and not my TV when you use an HDMI cable to extend my desktop?

Often, I connect my laptop to my TV to extend my desktop and find work more quickly. Today, I wanted to listen to music then I worked, but did not want to disturb others in the House with the sound so I plugged my headphones on my laptop but the sound plays through television. How can I get it to play through my headphones only?

I do not use HDMI but audio HDMI runs your graphics instead of the audio chip

the laptop, so I think that you can turn off the HDMI audio in your graphics cards

    The control panel settings.

-If not, you should be able to disable the HDMI audio via Device Manager.

The HDMI audio will probably be known as your graphics (Nvidia, AMD or Intel).

[Type Device Manager in the search bar on the Start Menu and select - sound, video and game controllers.] R / click on the appropriate audio device and select disable. ]

Or - connect your headphones to the TV should turn off the sound from the speakers.

You can purchase an extension for headphones, if necessary.

    Any advice appreciated

    Hello again Nervuz,

    Thanks for the quick response!

Based on the information you have provided, I recommend to uninstall and reinstall the audio driver for your desktop. To do this, please follow this document on follow-up with the IDT High Definition Audio Driverdownload and software uninstaller (Windows 8). If this does not work and you hear again audio to both the speakers and earphones, please follow the next step.

The next step is to run a diagnostics using Automated Troubleshooting (Windows 8)program. This should help with the audio in question.

Please re-post with the results of your troubleshooting, and I look forward to your response!

    Hello
    Hello

I recently bought a new headphones for the game but had some problems with it and the sound system. A major problem is when I have someone call on Skype, the Skype sound or the call will go through the headphones, but on the other audio from the speakers. I also agree that also what iTunes does not work when I am in a call as well. Some examples would be that if I want to watch a YouTube video during a call, noise would come by the speakers and not the headphones. However, I found a solution for this. All I had to do was turn off the main speakers and the audio was transmitted to the headphones. Another example would be that if I want to run the games through Steam (Garry Mod, TF2, ect.), I get no sound in the game. Not through my speakers or headphones. With one exception, volume of Garry Mod, I can hear through the speakers so that in a Skype call, but I want the sound to come through the headphones. But with TF2, I have no sound whatsoever. If you need more information about me, feel free to ask. Thank you.

  • At the same time audio playback through speakers and headphones

When I plug in the headphones the sound plays on both speakers and headphones using Pandora and the music app, as well as during phone calls.

  • No speakers or headphones plugged in error

I'm a Windows 7 PC operating and have problems with the audio. I plugged my headset into the Green 3.5 mm jack, that has worked for me before. Then one day it just stopped working and shows the ' no speakers or headphones are connected. Troubleshooting couldn't identify the problem either.

    Here are a few screenshots.

Help please? Is it possible that the hardware has been damaged somehow? Thank you.

    Hello

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Community forums.

What is the brand and model of the PC?

This could happen because of problems with the audio driver. But, as you mentioned that the driver works correctly, it could also happen that the audio device is disabled in the BIOS.

Kindly, follow these methods and check if that helps:

    Method 1:

Exercise the functions mentioned below to check if the speakers are disabled:
    a. Click Start, and then clickthe CControl Panel.
    b. click on the its, a new window will open.
    (c) in the new window, click on the read tab and right-click on the window and click Show disabled devices.
    d. now, check if the speakers are and right-click on it and choose Activate.

    Method 2:

If this does not help, please refer to and follow the troubleshooting:

"No speakers or headphones are connected" error on Windows 7

Important: Change the BIOS (Basic input output system) / Semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

Let us know if it helps. If you have any other questions, we will be happy to help you.

So when the headphones are plugged into my 5 c the sound play also through the speaker on the face of the phone as well to play the sound through the headset. Is there a way to fix this?

Have you already checked the headphone for any debris or lint? If the card cannot have the correct contact within the port, the speaker will be not disconnected.

Also try to force reboot the phone by holding down the button sleep and home for 10 seconds, until the Apple logo comes back again.

You won't lose data by doing this, but it can cure a few glitches.

Is it all fix regedit or driver for it? According to my specs is there anything hardware related, a pilot, or is this something that Toshiba screwed with as they put in place the operating system?

    Processor: AMD Turion Dual-Core RM-70
Sound card: Conexant HD SmartAudio 221

    Hi Sniper

There is not an option at this time in Windows Vista to enable this feature.  It will have to be an option that is enabled through software/driver for your sound card.  You can consult the site Web of Conexant and see if they have an updated driver or a software package that could add the feature you're looking for.  Please let us know if you have any other questions.  Thank you.
