Sovereign wealth funds in tilelist slow?

I have a tileList component that I'm loading SWF in. One of my sovereign wealth funds has a particle system in it, and every time it is loaded in the tilelist component of the particle system slows down. Whenever the sovereign funds are loaded, I use tileList.removeAll () to clear, then tileList.addItem () to repopulate the tileList. My guess is that this is not actually unload SWFs completely so that they are piling up in memory. What should I do to unload SWFs completely to prevent any slowing down?

You must use the DataProvider of TileList property to method removeAll() access as: myTileList.dataProvider.removeAll (), refer to this document http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flash/quickstart/tilelist_component_as3/

    Can we SWF work for awhile and then another SWF run, followed by a return to the first SWF back to halfway through or it starts it Framework 1 again?

    By enabling a Rich Media Annotation, it forms a new instance of sandbox for the execution of the public Service, so you can have several active RMA simultaneously without too much trouble (except things like steal the focus from the other). They see each and other libraries and you can not share data directly with each other as the LSO is deactivated, but base-as a string data can be sent through tunnel via AcroJS If you know what you're doing.

    When an RMA number off, everything is cleared - Acrobat / Reader not automatically store any "data resume" but you can create a traditional recovery system by encoding the SWF to export/import status information for the PDF file. You need to ensure everything needed to "take back" is placed in the State of string data, then read and analyze whenever the SWF loads. Again, this data packet is not visible to other content.

  • imported from sovereign wealth funds, get the main swf data

    Hello world

    I'm shaking my old AS2 here school mindset. I have a main swf file that loads a bunch of subordinate sovereign wealth funds. I need my SWF to see some variables in the hand. For example (example simplified for conversational purposes), let's say I have a swf loading (we tell littleSwf), who has set his rotation based on a variable (we tell swfRotation) hand. Rotation code is inside the small swf. How does this small swf said / what is its number of rotation?

    How would I do that? I have tried everything I can think and did some research, but apparently not in the right places.

    Any input appreciated.

    Dan P.

    If you load the swf file in another, chances are you use a charger.  Thus, the charger becomes the parent of the loaded swf file.  And the main SWF is the parent of the charger.  So, using the most common mindset AS2, you want to get any variable in the main swf by a the parent.parent targetng... file that in AS3, can be done using... MovieClip (parent.parent).

    A correct way OOP to getting the value of the child rotation is to assign it to the swf main once it has finished loading the child.  To do this, you assign a loader listener to determine when the file has been loaded, and then you have the main file target the child through the Loader.content property.  You could then have a function in the child that the principal calls and passes the rotation value to as argument, or have just the main file perform the operation on the child using the value of rotation if it is appropriate.

  • sovereign wealth funds are not loading the server

    Hi guys!

    I have a problem. We have a website www.onlinerealgames.com which hosts the game developed by our company. Recently, we wanted to change the template. We test the new model in a subdomain of ours which is www.onlinerealgames.in.

    All right, except that the SWFs on the server are not loading. Instead, they show not responsible film. If I can directly access the swf file with the URL indicating the download option window.

    We have a separate database for both sites. Both have same sovereign wealth funds. If we change the source of .in in .com then sovereign wealth funds are to load properly (in the src of the embed tag property)

    Can someone help in this issue!

    Thanks in advance.

    your .in server may need to be updated to support swf mime types.

  • Preloader base for several sovereign wealth funds?

    I watched 100 + discussions on the web, not one right answer.

    I want an AS3 equivalent script for the following script (that I made):

    loadallthefollowingswfs.intocache ("home.swf", "products.swf", "contact.swf");

    I want a bunch of different SWFs, which are all in the same directory, be loaded into the cache before the display of the FSV.

    I want to put this text in the first image of an index.swf

    When it loads ALL SWFs in the cache, it will move on to frame 2 of the index.swf and keep moving.

    All other discussions about the State of the web is "have each loading of swf when it is open" (I won't want them all preload them in the cache before display anyone of sovereign wealth funds), or the so-called discussions "you should all FLAS combine in a single fla and preload just a swf file (I don't want to be I want to separate fla/swf files).»

    Anyone have any suggestions on how to load several SWF files into the cache when you access an image from a swf?

    Thank you.

    This should be the number instead of uint.

    and there should not be spaces in getNextHighestDepth()

  • Control of sovereign wealth funds with lengths of Dynamics

    I need to load SWF applications in my Director files. Currently I use the timeline with an arbitrary amount of time. My problem is that the length (duration) of these sovereign wealth funds depend on interactivity for the end user. If they press each key, answer questions, etc... a viewer could be done in 5 minutes and another user could be done in 30 minutes. I have no way of determining. Currently, my calendar will run out and I send users to a Menu screen. Is it possible to dynamically load a SWF file and play indefinitely? I have a button on the screen if the use wants to stop prematurely.

    Thanks in advance for help with this problem!

    Hi rossimo:
    Maybe it's completely stupid to suggest, but what happens if you add a command "go to the section", wouldn't that keep the playback head and still allow your SWF is running correctly?

  • Animation stops in sovereign wealth funds Long

    I have a few presentations I am creating using a single Projector/EXE, including the two sounds and animation. They are quite long in terms of how many images, they (current is 16 K images +) and the problem I'm running into is that the animation keeps freezing at the end of the presentation. Audio continues to play, but the animation freezes.

    I have tried everything I can think of, but do not find one solution other than to divide the project in several sovereign wealth funds and their loading (loadMovie) external. Ideally, I would like to be just a single file, but it's the only way I can find to make it work.

    Is there a problem with Flash only plays not passed a number of executives?

    Anyone else run into this? Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you
    Mike

    OK, I answered my own question...

    It seems that Flash has just one problem with a LONG timeline... I guess that another reason why to use clips of film has its advantages!

  • Manufacturing. Sovereign wealth funds disappear in lieu of other

    Oooh boy, I feel embarrassed to come here again, but...

    I was able to get my previous problem sorted, by doing this:

    on (Release) {}

    loadMovieNum("swfs/epictrance.swf",25);

    }

    I feel stupid. But now that I've built my swf and have edited the position, I have to ask, is there like a ._visible = false code for foreigners .swfs or something? How should we do what makes it so another button removes the .swf and change to another. It was bad enough that I was able to find a guide to how SWF files import I needed, I doubt will be there to make them disappear.

    Previous discussion:
    http://forums.Adobe.com/message/5150720#5150720

    As I said, you need to learn how to use the help documents.  Your other replied that nothing has been found... that tells you only still need to learn to use them because they contain all the information that you requested.

    If you use loadMovieNum() to load the film, the compliment to her unload a movie is unloadMovieNum().

    You must be careful in using that particular although the preload, in particular by choosing an apparently arbitrary value for the 'Num'... you could replace some other content who lives at this level you don't want to delete.  Stick with loadMovie will be safer... simply to find the info to use.

    Also, if you are starting coding with Flash, you should break the habit of putting the code on objects that you show. Instead, assign instance names to objects and keep the code in the timeline panel.  If you were to name the "loadBtn" button, then the version of the chronology of his code would be...

    loadBtn.onRelease = function() {}

    loadMovieNum("swfs/epictrance.swf",25);

    }

  • How batch process psd in sovereign wealth funds?

    I have several images of .psd I need to convert .swf. The only solution that I can understand is to place the psd into illustrator and save. Y at - it a faster/more easier option that I have hundreds of files I need to do this to! I also need them to be png. A quick solution for that would be appreciated as well!

    The code has been tested, as well as does not work. The problem could be the text editor, that you use to save the code as it should be clear and some processors add control characters.

    If you could use the ExtentScript Toolkit (it is installed with most Adobe applications) you could paste and save it to that.

  • I need to run python script on sovereign wealth funds all expenses?

    If I'm old swf loading in my main swf, I do run the python script on each of them to Scout for give me data, or can I just compile the main swf with telemetry on?

    This has proved not to be correct.  When I ran the script on some of the SWFs that are loaded into our main swf, I got much more detailed information when I have not run the script.

  • Sharing graphics between several sovereign wealth funds (runtime sharing)

    I put in a quiz. I have a main .swf making requests to a server to get questions. The server then responds with a string of text is parsed, and the container issue is drawn on the screen. For example, the server may respond to the question "is the sky blue?" response = true '.

    My application would then create a box containing the question and two buttons labelled 'true' and 'false '. Each of these elements are drawn using various images of nine-patch that I include in the .swf file.

    My problem is the following. I want to include custom question formats. Instead of simple text, I want to add a question like 'click the blue square on this photo '. I plan do a bunch of these issues in Flash and export a .swf files. The server could then send one of these .swfs as well as issues of simple text.

    Some of these separate issues will contain elements (for example, buttons or text boxes) that I like to shoot in the same style as the questions that are created from scratch in the main application.

    I don't know what is the best way to achieve this. If I include the nine-patch images in each of the separate .swfs so surely I'll run into problems if I ever want to change the images. I have to recompile all the .swfs. I also want the user to be able to change the themes. It is easy to achieve if I swap on nine-patch images in the main application, but will be annoying otherwise.

    create one or more fla files that contain your (in) active symbol of shared.  in the library of the FLA, for each asset that needs to be shared: right click > click Properties > select export for runtime sharing and assign a class and a url.  (at least, to use a subdirectory of your main project directory because you cannot leave this field blank.)

    in all the SWF files that you want to use these common goods, create symbols (graphics are not relevant because they will be replaced by assets created in the fla above) > each symbol library you want to replace a right click > click Properties > check import for TIME sharing, assign a class name corresponding meanings that should replace this symbol and the use of the url the same subdirectory as above with the name SWF:

    in my swf file that contains the orange oval, all instances on the boards will be replaced by the green square.  at a later time if I wanted to use red squares, I would just change the symbol with the symbole1 class in my swf exporter to a red square.

  • Problems with sovereign wealth funds in indesign

    I'm trying to put in place a swf file that has several other imported in SWF files (all created in indesign) when I load the page, on any browser, I get a static Flash logo (the same as the one that appears when you import a swf file in indesign) that do not load or play. The file is NOT hosted as we need our representatives to be able to view the file locally without an internet connection. I'm using CS5. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    First of all, make sure that you have correct settings in window/media/interactive panel (poster, play on the loading of the page on or off etc.). Then, after exporting, make sure that you keep your main SWF and resources folder. All you under the SWF files are located in the resources folder and the user flash player assumes that it is in the same root with main SWF... InDesign automatically creates resources files when exporting SWF with videos or other SWF files placed in any page of it...

  • Using 1 movieclip in several sovereign wealth funds. possible?

    LS,

    I was wondering if it is possible to have a clip that you can as an export and then share in several .swf files.

    This, without importing them from external libraries in the .fla files afcourse.

    So as I have a movieclip containing bitmaps of tile of a different type (I do so that is why im asking)

    I use these tiles in the editor and in the .swf game;

    To change the graphics (adding to) the me import the mc from a .fla in the other.

    Is it possible to do mc in a .fla, export it and import it dynamic?

    Where can I read the other .fla library dynamically?

    Kind regards

    Mac

    So, I ask not to discuss, all I have to do is make a .swf with all my movieclips in there and without code.

    OK, but you must assign a class to each movieclip in the library of the swf file that you want to use.

    And then load the swf file to use the class assigned in my code in different modules.

    Yes

    Then, when you add graphics to the movieclips, I do not have to recompile my code?

    OK, any changes to the graphics of your movieclips will appear in all the SWFs that load this container resource swf movieclip.  no code should be rebuilt or recompiled to reflect the graphic changes.

  • Export of sovereign wealth funds, get the thickness of line precise CS5

    Hello indesigners,.

    I recently tried to create a CV interactive little, nothing complicated, just an index page which links to the chapters.

    In the identity document, I use lines with very little wight (0.25 pt or 0.25px, depending on the print mode or the web). When I export to a SWF file the lines are always much thicker than they really are. It seems that the minimum thickness, it can show is perhaps, 1px, while ID can show more fine lines (do not know how it does, maybe anti aliasing?).

    I can remedy that and export it in the form of raster image, but then, it removes any interactivity.

    I just want to keep the items in the vector reduced to their actual thickness, does anyone know how to do this?

    I've attached a picture that she shows off quite well.

    http://DL.dropbox.com/u/25033198/Untitled-1.jpg

    Ah, Yes, of course for this. I forgot to treat the "fix" you found.

    It is a 'fix' rather than a real problem, because if you zoom in on this image, you'll see that it contains no pixel 1/4 more! The image renders too thin lines identical to InDesign: as light gray.

    There is progress and disadvances to save the image as a bitmap, rather than as a vector; I think that you are aware of both, and it is up to you to decide which method to use.

    If you are sure that your users (consider that they will look at what on paper) will not zoom in, you could still use the lines of 1 point but their light gray color, so the Visual effect is the same 100%. And it will look only slightly weird when your users zoom in - they will get * thick gray * lines, instead of * thin black * those, but it's still better than ugly pixels.

  • FLA with a bunch of scenes... shoot scenes in sovereign wealth funds?

    I have a FLA, Flash CS4 using AS3 file... I have a few scenes, and I want to turn them into SWF files without copying the images of the scene in a new FLA file. I was hoping there would be an option to convert scenes in SWFs.In the end I would still have all the scenes in a FLA file... so the purpose of this request isn't splicing scenes in new FLA files, is to quickly export a scene in a SWF file.

    In addition, I'm not well versed in AS3, so if the solution requires code lines please be so kind as to elaborate. Very happy.

    Thank you very much!

    If you change any scene, you can go to control > test scene.

    Flash compiles a SWF of your scene that live in the same folder as your main swf file.

    the file has a name like myMovieName_SceneName.swf
