• Spam mail junk or not?

  Hi all
  Received an email in my Inbox of Microsoft (Spam hunters) wondering whether or not it is Spam/Junk e-mail?

  I always thought that Microsoft verifies our installations of windows during as authentic updates before proceeding with any update.  I was never asked to provide personal information about any account.

  Pure spam. Microsoft does not contact the owners of Windows machines, if not because he keeps no records on their name, location and E-mail address.

  I'm having the problem where almost nothing goes in my junk e-mail folder. I rechecked my mail spam filtering preferences and I have it configured to enable filtering and move the Junk to junk e-mail folder. Those are the only two boxes checked.   You mark the emails as being not junk?

  If the emails are not grey/navy/red, then your email provider may have marked them as spam, which would explain why the not junk option is not there. Try to go to the e-mail provider's website to see if you can adjust the junk e-mail settings there.

• My account is spam and I can't stop it!

  How do you know that your email has been "hacked"? It is a common practice for spammers to forge an envoy from the e-mail address. It may be that your email address has been misused. There's nothing to do if this is the case for you. The spammer will soon pass and usurp another email address.

  It's a good idea to immediately change your password by email if someone would actually managed to access your e-mail account.

  There are times when I'm trying to determine if an email with an attachment is legitimate, but I'm afraid of "Quick look" attachment lest it somehow temporarily download a virus or some other disaster.

  I created an email unique iCloud for my new iPhone SE. I've never used this email address anywhere except iTunes and the App Store installation. I use Apple Mail on my iPhone to retrieve the email for the account and never get any email to this account because I don't use it actively with the exception of the registration of Apple.

  I put it in place in iMessage and my phone number. I have never sent or received an iMessage using only my phone number ID.

  How is it possible to get Ray Ban sunglasses spam to my iMessages in these circumstances?  I have long been reluctant to get into the Apple ecosystem, but was convinced to do so by a friend. I had a Samsung before that and never once had SMS spam. Now I'm with Apple almost 3 weeks and I'm iMessage spam that appears to come through my Apple ID associated email.

  I am a very private person and feel somehow I had my privacy violated and worries me also pay Apple which I've also put in place related to my new Apple ID.

  Messages of spam of all kinds are sent to hundreds of thousands of all the days of phones. Spammers don't care even if it is a valid number. Messages eventually went to a hundred random numbers at a time. Your number just happened to be one of these random numbers. Just delete the message and never interact with these spam messages.
