Satellite L750 - 12 p - HDD is faulty - no data

Hello
IM owner of laptop L750 - 12 p, my warranty is finished 8 months ago... my hard drive is over now... I have not save all data, my windows was in System I buy laptop, not on dvd... so
My question now--what can do?
I want to buy the same hard drive for this laptop, but they can put same edition windows Home premium on my drive or I have to buy a new one?
system was only dedicated to my computer...

As I see you have made the same mistake as many other owners of laptop you didn't create recovery disc even though it is clearly described in s operating manuals.

What can you do now?
The first step is to change the HARD drive. Now you have to spend money for new so at this point I recommend to buy SSDS. This will increase the performance of s for laptop computer and your portable computer is running much faster than before.
Installation of the OS: now you have two options, either you install OS own version using the disc installation of Microsoft, or you can order original drive recovery for your laptop model.

In my opinion, the second option is much better. Original recovery disk can be ordered on - https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx

If you have any other questions you are welcome.

After that his Cup. But this doc is weird is that the gauge moves, he did sound does not come out. For now, the sound works fine when I connect headphones or external speakers.

I tried a lot of solutions. I even installed Linux on another partition. In any case, the speakers will be stop after awhile.

On this virtual path, it is not easy to say why this is happening. If there is no problem with headphones or external speakers somewhere I think there must be a technical problem.

Maybe his cuts off because the faulty cable connection.
Tis must be studied, so I think that the best solution for you is to contact Toshiba service nearest and ask for help.

  • Satellite L750 - need help with the identification of the hardware parts

    Hi all

I have a Satellite L750 motherboard and need to replace the header/plug in which is plugged in my cable from the screen.

Would you be able to tell me what's the name of components and where to find it please.

This kind of repair on laptops is very complicated because there is no certain stores where you can order these parts. Usually if something doesn't work not the whole mainboard needs to be replaced.

I can only imagine that you can find a few faulty mainboard (faulty CPU/GPU) and just swap this connector.

  • Satellite L750-115 and Factory Reset

Hello, I watch/read thousand video's / forums on how to factory reset in the Toshiba Satellite L750-115. Everywhere I found that "press 0 during startup. But it didn't work for me. When I try to get help from the toshiba Web site, I can still get my cell phone.

If anyone can help me, it will be very nice...

In General, you have two options:
You would use HARD drive recovery option to recover the computer laptop back to settings factory, or you must use the recovery Toshiba (disk or USB) media which must be created using the Toshiba recovery media creator software.

But this means of communication should be established as long as the laptop works properly...

Have you created this support in the past?
If this isn't the case, you can use the option of recovery of HARD drive, BUT ONLY if the HARD drive and partitions are not affected!

I guess that Windows 7 is pre-installed on your laptop.
Well, in this case power unit, then press F8
Then you should get the advanced boot menu... Choose here: fix my computer...
    Then Toshiba HDD recovery.

If this is not possible, drive HARD recovery is not possible and the only way of recovering the laptop is the use of the recovery disk...
As mentioned, if you do not have the disk, you can try ordering this support here:

  • Drive HARD Win 7 recovery does not work on Satellite L750

    Hello

I have the Toshiba Satellite L750 with preinstaled win 7.

I instaled the upgrade to win 8 (from dvd).

After that I improve the MS site to Win 8.1 System.

The system does not work properly (DVD is not recognized) so I have to install previuos system.

First of all, I'm improving my BIOS for the new one - 3.60.

After that I try to win 7 reinstal my HDD recovery (which is located on the d partition). But it does not work: it has been impossible to start recovering in the menu of the bios (F8 key does not work, it was only possible to press F2 or F12).

So I have to install my dvd 8.0 Win and now I have it and it works. But this is only a clear system without any addons like nero, ms office etc.

My question is how do reinstal win 7 of my hard drive recovery that I always on the d partition?
in the bios the F8 key does not work.

After clean OS installation installation of HARD drive recovery not working anymore. If you want to have the original image of recovery preinstalled on your machine, you must use recovery DVDs.
I assume that you did not create this disc, right?

In the user s manuals document clearly described how it works with the image recovery and the creation of recovery disks.

  • Satellite L750 - diagonal lines on the screen

Last week my Satellite L750 had pale grey diagonal lines connecting the upper left corner to the lower right corner. They cover the entire screen.

Tried to check for update nVidia drivers in Control Panel configuration, but Windows says I have the latest version.

No idea how I can solve this because it is very annoying.

How can you solve this problem?
As a first step, you should check what is may be defective. I'm 100% sure that it has nothing to do with the drivers.
What you can do is to connect the external monitor to your laptop and check if the same will be on screen. I guess not so in my opinion, your display is faulty and must be replaced.

  • Satellite L750-16Z, bigger new HARD drive need

Now I need to buy a new internal HDD for my laptop and I would like to buy one that is at least 1 TB. What is the maximum capacity drive that I buy for this laptop and are there restrictions on manufacturers/brands should I buy? Are there good internet sources for this?

Also, I imagine that most portable hard drives are SATA now.

Thanks a lot for any advice.

No one answered it in 2015. Nobody knows the answer please?

Is a 1 TB SATA HDD good for my laptop model (Satellite-L750-16Z)? Can I get a bigger car? Is SATA the right one?

  • Satellite L750 - unallocated space after custom partition

    Hello

I bought a new Satellite L750 of 640 GB HD and made a custom 400 GB for C: partition and expecting a ~ 200 GB for a D:; with the remaining GB in an HD hidden for the restoration of the window use.

After the complete installation and start-up of the window, I can only see a C: or my GB of 200 ~ 400 becomes not allocated. No other player number is displayed.

Can someone help me how I can create an E: or what that lead to make use of this no allocated space.
How can I access? I have to redo the entire system again and just send it to C: and forget a second drive?

    H.E.L.P. Please.

    Hello

I hope that you have created a recovery disc before changing the partitions on the HARD disk.
I guess you HDD recovery would not work after the partitions has been changed.

In any case, all partitions can be verified in disk management.
    Right-click on computer-> Manage
Here, you go to disk management

Generally, all partitions and unallocated space must be visible. Here, you can create a new partition or can change and change the partitions again.

  • Satellite L750 does support sata III controller 3Gbs or 6Gbs

    Hello!

I intend to buy laptop [Toshiba satellite L750-16V and change the HDD SSD Intel 520 series sata III (6 Gbps).]

Is the sata controller transfer mode of sata III (6 Gb/s) data, or if it'll work in sata II (3 Gb/s)?
[Chipset Mobile Intel Express HM65 | http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/chipsets/value-chipsets/mobile-chipset-hm65.html] supports Sata 6 Gb/s speed, but what will be the actual speed if I run the SSD speed test?

    Thanks for the replies!

    Hello

    > but what is the actual speed if I run the SSD speed test?
I think it depends on the SSD drive.

I have read some tests on the Intel SSD 520 series and it seems that the performance of the SSD drives benchmark was of about 480 Mb/s

  • Satellite L750 system hangs after disconnecting the WLan

I bought Satellite L750 series laptop I have connected Wifi. If I disconnect the Wifi system get hooked. I can't do anything to that. I've updated the driver software and I checked all the possibilities that my knowledge.

    > if I disconnect Wifi system and then get hooked.

I assume you are using Fn + F8 to toggle the wifi.
    Right?
Have you tried to restore the system to verify if there is a system problem?
I think you should do and need to retrieve the laptop using the HDD recovery procedure
Turn on the device, press F8, choose repair my computer, choose HARD drive recovery and follow the instructions on the screen, then you will get the system with the factory settings.
    Then test the WLan.

  • Satellite L750-1PH - recovery process does affect the D drive?

    Hello

My Satellite L750-1PH product and I need to recover the system. But I don't want to lose the documents in the "D" drive
Once system recovery drive "D" is also deleted or only the reader 'C' have you deleted?

    Thank you
    Bahad? r. Acar

    Hello

As far as I know and as mentioned by many people here in the forum, the use of the recovery DISK would format the whole HARD drive. This means that the second partition will be deleted also.

But the use of recovery procedure HDD only deletes the C partition and partition D (where recovery files are saved) would not be affected.

However, I recommend you to backup the data always

  • Satellite L750 does not illuminate

    Hello.

I recently acquired a portable Satellite L750 who has a problem where it not light but annoyingly he teases me by working perfectly on rare occasions, it seems to me as if there is little hope for it. When I press the power button, the power light comes on for a second or 2 then goes off again, the fan does not turn and nor does the hard drive.

I got him pressing the escape key while pressing the power button, I could access the menu of the BIOS but I left it overnight after that day. In the morning, he failed put on, this time it remained under tension (e.g. fan, HARD drive, and lights were on) but apparently not POST correctly because there was no hard disk activity or anything on the screen. This has been rectified by moving the single module of RAM from one location to the other, after that it worked perfectly again and I was able to use it for 4 hours with no sign of problems that until ever I turn it off.

24 hours later the laptop is back to its original problem where only the power LED turns on for a second then it stops again. I tried the main thing of escape as before, moving the ram several times, remove the CMOS battery for a few minutes, but nothing works. I deleted each item one by one and tried to power on but the problem remains. I swapped the RAM module with a well-known work. Food looks good even under a load of 10 ohms. There don't seem to be all components damaged visually on the motherboard.

If anyone has an idea what so ever then I would be delighted to hear it, be as technical as you want.

First I thought it might be a memory problem since the first attempt to move the RAM module has helped to get the laptop to life. But since the good use of new modules of work does not resolve the problem, I think that the problem is related to the fault of the motherboard.

This is of course just my personal opinion, but I think you know that only a few rare parts could cause such problems. It could be a faulty motherboard, CPU and graphics card.
Possible RAM problem has been already excluded so probably it s a very affected mother board

    What do you think?

  • Satellite L750 - no error at startup boot device

When you try to start my Satellite L750/755, I get an error no. Bootable Device.

Before I try any recovery, is it possible to remove the HARD drive and connect it to my other PC so that I can get all my pictures, music, etc. it. If so, do I need.

I have it on my old desk, and bought a HARD drive with a USB caddy, if disk HARD just looked like an external drive.

    Thank you very much

    Tim

Yes, you can remove the HARD drive and connect it to your other laptop / PC with USB HDD external enclosure. With the help of this forum you can connect your HARD drive as an external device that must be recognized and listed in the Windows Explorer, so you can have full access to all your stored data.

Back up all your data and put the HARD drive in your laptop.

Usually, if there is not a hardware problem you can start your laptop and press F12 to get into the boot menu. When the boot menu appears on the screen that you can put the recovery disk of information optical disk drive, choose the CD/DVD drive and press ENTER. After making this optical drive should start the disc and start to copy the data to the HARD drive.

What you can do before you start using the recovery disc is to enter the BIOS and set it to default settings.

Please try it and send feedback.

  • Drive on Satellite L750 failure

Satellite L750 HDD my wife seemed to have failed to be an enthusiastic amateur, successfully computer enthusiast, I've built a number of PC, I took out the disc HARD tried to reformat and install a copy of Windows 7. I have checked that on the laptop recovery software did not work.

Before installing Windows 7, I tried to get rid of the partitions on the HARD drive, and although I could not get rid of all, I managed to reduce them. I formatted the reconstituted HARD drive and tried to load Windows 7 which seemed to work but when I got to use the laptop I had no drivers and no way to install as I had no internet access. I am now left with a blank HARD drive and I was contemplating the purchase of a Toshiba Recovery disk shape.

My question is whether it'll work or I will have to take the laptop to an authorized dealer?

You can use the Toshiba Recovery disk (please order first on the page posted by Timox) or you can install the Windows operating system using the disk from Microsoft. The drivers are available on the page of the Toshiba UE driver.

You can use another computer to download all the drivers for the laptop Satellite L755. After the download, move it to USB flash memory stick and install on your L755 template.
