  I have problems printing my printer HP Officejet Pro 8600. When I am able to print the process is extremely slow and the printer made a lot of noise before and during printing.   Hello! I'm here in the dell community because I'm having an error with a PowerEdge 2850 server. When I boot it all seems to work, but inspection closer both blue and yellow led on the front is off. All devices (such as a keyboard) will not turn on. Supplies seems to work perfectly well with the error led out of power and both of the Green led on the power supply on. The drives at the front lights up but then after 2 seconds the led for every hard drive goes off and then when you reconnect the drives it will be on for 2 seconds then turns off.

  I tried:

  Reset all RAM chips and CPU in the case

  Replugin all hard drives from the server

  I tried multiple monitors

  has tried just using the power supply instead of the power brick or a surge protector

  and tried to run it only out of a raid, everything ends up in the same result

  What is the error specific are you? Try the system at least to the POST with the following components:

  • System Board
  • Processor
  • A bar of memory in DIMM1-A or B-DIMM1
  • Power supply
  • Riser
  • Control Panel and bottom of basket (necessary only when the last power state was off. Ensure that all USB devices, including the keyboard are disconnected.

  I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what's wrong with my laptop? Two days ago began to randomly turn off and restart. I checked the following:
  -Execution control online Panda Security virus etc - all ok.
  -Check the system of newspapers but all it records is an error "windows has stopped unexpectedly".
  -Suspect an overheating problem I took it to pieces, clean all the dust from the fan and the heat exchanger. Also cleaned up all the old thermal paste off the CPU and replaced with new ones. It works now much cooler but always stops at random.
  -Run a Suse Linux Live DVD to check, it certainly isn't a problem with the OS and it stops again.

  I'm guessing that something is short circuit on the motherboard because it will run ok if it is on a flat surface and not moved and I do not press too hard while typing etc. However, it is a bit hit and Miss. If someone has had this problem before and there at - it something else I could try? Also any ideas on is how a new motherboard? I expect probably expensive :( If there is any kind of fix I can do myself? I'm pretty technically minded and do not have a problem with taking it bit do not know much about electronics, engines are more my thing :D

  I m not an expert in laptop but in my opinion, it sounds like a hardware malfunction. The reason could be a faulty motherboard or something else.
  I mean you already tried Linux bootable disk, so I think that the problem is not bound by the OS.

  I put t know how much a new card mother cost and if it s difficult to Exchange or not, but you should contact the nearest ASP that you can find on the Toshiba site. The laptop technicians can check your laptop and order a new card of mother.

  Don t think someone could help here in your case.
  No lights (power led, led battery nor ac DC plug-in led) means there could be a problem of serious material maybe the motherboard is missing.

  If the AC adapter is defective, then the laptop must always turn on using battery power ok, this is not possible if the battery would be too empty.

  So usually a technician first test adapter and should try to plug an AC adapter right in order to test this.

  But to me it looks like something wrong with a motherboard :(
  Of course, this is only my personal opinion...

  If I understand you correctly, your computer shuts down when you close the lid, and if it is turned off and you close the lid it lights.  I think you are right to think it's a hardware problem.   You are working on your machine, staring at the screen and the power failure... Yes - something quite common in these parts of the world... but no worries, the screen darkens slightly according to the diet plan and you hardly notice. Then, when the backup generator kicks in and the power is activated again, the brightness of the screen is back to your usual setting. Meanwhile, it is not a gene. Right?

  Well, that's what should happen... except that most of the time it doesn't work! Most of the time, the screen turns off and then turns on remove the main power and reinstall it. Note that this never happened once with T61 or T41p.

  Initially, I assumed it was because I had an external monitor attached... maybe it was to reconfigure something there? But then, it happens even without the external monitor. Then, I tried looking for the video driver updates... maybe this bug had been fixed to the... no luck there.

  So, finally, after having known this more often now, I thought I would get feedback from you all. Any advice?

  Check the Intel Media profile with the power settings. If a battery is "Maximum economy" mode then it should be in Exchange for 50 Hz to 60 Hz... Change it to balance or maximum Performance and see if its ever-changing from 50 Hz to 60 Hz...

  If all else fails, try updating the video driver, it might be a bug in the previous version of the driver.
