PowerEdge 2850 message error, no display, usb devices do not work and all readers are off (a little)
Hello! I'm here in the dell community because I'm having an error with a PowerEdge 2850 server. When I boot it all seems to work, but inspection closer both blue and yellow led on the front is off. All devices (such as a keyboard) will not turn on. Supplies seems to work perfectly well with the error led out of power and both of the Green led on the power supply on. The drives at the front lights up but then after 2 seconds the led for every hard drive goes off and then when you reconnect the drives it will be on for 2 seconds then turns off.
I tried:
Reset all RAM chips and CPU in the case
Replugin all hard drives from the server
I tried multiple monitors
has tried just using the power supply instead of the power brick or a surge protector
and tried to run it only out of a raid, everything ends up in the same result
I have no idea what to do so im just going to ask the community of dell. Thank you!

What is the error specific are you? Try the system at least to the POST with the following components:
- System Board
- Processor
- A bar of memory in DIMM1-A or B-DIMM1
- Power supply
- Riser
- Control Panel and bottom of basket (necessary only when the last power state was off. Ensure that all USB devices, including the keyboard are disconnected.

Hi, I have Windows Vista and I use a computer laptop Dell studio. When I insert a disc into my CD/DVD drive, the drive spins and it looks like it is about to start and makes the same noise start several times and then just stops. My computer does not record that there is a disc there. If I double click on the DVD drive in 'My computer' it ejects my disc and says "insert the disc in drive E".
I went on the 'repair' Microsoft online scanner and it told me that there is a problem, but he can fix it. In Device Manager, under CD/DVD-ROM readers I have Optiarc DVD +-RW AD - 7640S. Under device status - general - properties, it says "this device does not work correctly. He also says that I have the updated driver.

Given that this error is indicating your graphics card you can uninstall\reinstall the most recent driver. Then clean restart your system and test. Check the specifications of your video against the requirements of the game card. If your card is at the very least, you may need to lower the resolution of the game.

I removed the hub and got the same message when using devices directly into the computer. I tested the devices on another computer and why have been recognized without problems. I had a similar problem with the USB ports a few years ago. I removed the ports in Device Manager and reboot the laptop. The USB ports will recognize again.
Furthermore, I reinstalled the latest chipset driver and everything worked well.The latest chipset driver download on the Toshiba site:

I am trying to connect to Simple external storage drive and once I followed all the steps (only 2) Windows XP gave me a message that the USB device is not recognized or it malfunctioned. I disconnected everything and tried again in another USB port and still had the same error. I know that is not the usb port of my computer because I have it plugged into a port that just worked. This problem might have occurred because of these reasons:
1 USB drivers are corrupt.2. USB port does not work.
3. hardware issue.
I suggest you run the hardware troubleshooter to check if it helps.
(a) press the Windows key + C on your keyboard to display the bar of charms.
(b) type of Troubleshooting , and then click solving problems under settings.
(c) now, type Hardware Troubleshooter in the option Search .
(d) click on hardware store to run the troubleshooter.
