  There is not a way to change the name of your Personal Cloud as soon as it is created. You need to create a new Personal Cloud to have a different name without symbols.

  Note: you may lose all your data if you decide to change the RAID type, so before saving.

  RAID 1 is 'mirror', so you will get only half the capacity rather than RAID0 or JBOD.

• IX2 - dl not generate RAID1 Array

  I've been running an ix2 - dl (firmware: 4.0.4.14600) with a single 3 TB drive for about six months without any problem. I recently added a second identical disk for redundancy. When the ix2 - dl on the drive appears as expected in disk management and I put the RAID 1 protection.

  It was 48 hours ago. Since then, the front was blinking, shows the State of the systemData protection is being rebuilt. The reconstruction is completed at 1%', and disk management shows 'data protection is being rebuilt. This seems too long for a RAID 1 configuration empty, so should I wait or do something else?

  I pulled the two discs for the cleaning process and noticed that the old player of nine months showed 030 for the chip error value.   I had the ix2 for a while, it worked perfectly. Once before, one of the drives has failed and I got a replacement of Iomega. Reconciled unity drives and everything was fine. Since then the camera has worked flawlessly again so far.

  During the last two weeks, the player became undetectable on the network of one of the two computers in the sharing network. The white light on the front flashes constantly. There is no indication that the drive is alive. I removed the disc and individually attempted to find any content on them. There are two partitions on each, but I can't get windows 7 to read on the part of the partitions. I don't know how they are formatted.

  Not sure wheter ix2 is able to work with > 2 TB is spread over its USB ports, but normally you would create a copy job that contains "all directories".

  If your ix2 doesn't detect your USB, try to repartition your drive USB-2 to + 1 TB

  Yes, it's possible; at least with the ix2 - dl, because that's what I have. Your router must be able to port forwarding TCP 21 to the ix2 network I.P. address. As long as others can hit your router or DDNS address associated with, that they reach your SIN by FTP. If the ix2 is configured with the default of multimedia access permissions, FTP access to those records out this address designated or authorized users can FTP with their powers, for example ftp://username:[email protected]. (code = password. * beep * HTML converts in asscode in an emoji!)

• IX2 - dl won't start

  A recently released a single 1gig WD drive my ix2 - dl and replaced with a new red WD drive to 2 giga. Original disc worked fine. New drive will not work. I find myself with a blue and red light flashing again and again. I've cleaned the disc several times; I have reset the ix2 - dl via the reset button of hole of PIN many times; I tried two other disks with the same result. The original drive was ok, but as I don't have all the data recorded in it, I did a CLEAN on her, and now he too will not work in the unit.

  Hi Carlos,

  There is no option to run tasks in the order copy, only on a timed program. You can perform several tasks to copy at the same time however so you can try to plan their share and if two or more copy jobs on the knees, it shouldn't slow down the device too.
