Spikes of huge ping because the computer automatically search nearby wifi networks

For the past two years now, I had huge ping spikes every 2-3 minutes and is two months ago I wanted to solve the problem. I looked at the issue and of course I found people with the same problem and even provide tools to resolve. The problem is that my laptop is automatically search for nearby wifi networks, causing of the huge ping spikes, as seen here. The tool had stopped my computer from searching nearby wifis, it worked for about a week before I began to experience ping spikes again, the program had suddenly stopped working (I reinstalled it several times). then I looked at once more the question and found another tool. Parasol, it stopped working as well and I have no idea why. I tried to reinstall both programs, restart several things to look for other alternatives to google, but I found nothing. If anyone knows how to solve this problem, I would be very happy!

Running windows 7, btw.

Hello

There is a particular configuration for cards wireless called roaming aggressiveness that indicates the rate at which the wireless client automatically selects and switches to another wireless with a better signal quality. This can be checked on the advanced settings of the driver for your wireless card.

To get help on the configuration of roaming aggressiveness, we suggest that you contact the manufacturer of the device. You can check this link to find the addresses of the OEM.

Kind regards.

    Problem:

There is no restore point on my computer if I want to perform a system recovery back to the image of the manufactuer.  I downloaded the USB recovery Flash Disk Utility for my model.  Now I want to recover my computer via USB, but when I run the advanced recovery mode he's trying to restart my computer.  Given that my computer will not shut down properly, I end up having to press the power button until it stops my computer and the recovery does not continue when I start my computer again.

I tried to use F11, but then I just end up on a screen that says either press on enter to choose to continue with Windows 7, press tab to move to the bottom of the list or press ESC for more options.  I tried all three and they eventually freeze the screen and keys are starting to make a Summit high-pitched beep when I try to press one, so I end up having to force my laptop to stop.

I also tried to make recovery by pressing F8 and then choosing the "repair your computer option.  Which causes my computer screen go black, and I end up having to force it to close again.

Is it possible to restore my computer to factory settings?

    Hi, Jes:

Yes, it would be the battery.  The relatively heavy bar that is normally removed retainers of slide.

From what you described, I am afraid that your PC needs a lot of work (probably a bad motherboard), and you'd be much better to buy a new laptop or refurbished, than to pay a lot of money to fix yours.

I guess you would have to pay more than $200 for repair.

I'm sorry this is probably not what you wanted to hear.

  • I lost power during the installation of a program, now I can't continue because the computer sees the remains of the previous installation, but I can't delete them

I think there is a tool fixit for this, but I can't seem to access

    Hi Bruce,.

You marked by mistake my answer as the answer (solution) to your question.  I have not marked to avoid confusion.

I'm sorry that the tool has not worked for you.  Unfortunately, it is the only such tool that Microsoft provides and supports right now.  I have some alternative suggestions:

    1. Run system restore
System restore allows you to choose a date and a time and restore the program/system at this point. He won't touch one of your personal files/documents/images.  Only, the process takes about 2 minutes and is completely reversible if you don't like the results.  This is by far one of the safest and easiest options in a case like this.

When you run the system restore and choose a time before the program was installed (which can be listed as a point of restoring specific itself, because the points are created just before to begin installing new programs), it will remove all registry entries or system files this program had done.  This option is all but guaranteed.

      or

    2. Manually remove all Traces
Delete all files in the created program and manually delete the registry entries.  This can sometimes be simple, but for more complex programs, it can be nearly impossible without a complex program in question and detailed knowledge.

I highly recommend you try #1.  As I said, you can always cancel it if you don't like the results.  When you use it, please be extremely careful to choose restore, not refresh or reset.  These two alternatives are not as 'safe', because they are destructive in nature and should be used only if you want to restore your computer to factory conditions.

  • How to change the time that the computer automatically saves the data entered. I want to record while I'm typing.

How can I get the computer to record while I'm typing in it?

    Hello

    · What application you are using to save data?

You must manually save the file you are working on using the key CTRL + S.

However, if you use any office 2007 or applications later we have auto save option.

Note: AutoRecover or AutoSave does not replace the Save command. You must use the Save command to save your document at regular intervals and when you have finished working on it.

ASR is effective for unplanned interruptions, such as a breakdown or accident. AutoRecover files are not designed to be saved when a logoff is scheduled or a normal shutdown occurs.

If you have a floppy drive, you can create boot disks and then start in the recovery console to perform a manual system restore.

    Create bootable diskettes.

Create bootable diskettes, can be found the article mentioned below:

  • The computer hangs when you access network resources

I have this problem with a couple of computers at work.  Here's the question:

Computer does not display the network icon in the system tray.  When you try to access everything which concerns internet, nothing works.  IE Page not found errors, etc.  When I go to control panel > network connections, my computer freezes and I have to close the Task Manager Control Panel to continue.   My computer will also freeze/hang up when I try to use another application that requires an internet connection.

Not help not to restart normally.  The only way I could fix is by turning it off for a while, and turning back on later.  But even if it does not work 50% of the time.  Restarting over and over again does nothing; the computer still plays the same, no network icon / freezing when you access network resources.  Once he decides to however works, the computer has internet/network connectivity and no problems until what it is off again.

I tried all the drivers out there for my network card and reformatted 3 times is not a virus/spyware.  The I'm having a problem with the current computer is one day having no application other than Windows Update, Microsoft Office, Java, Flash and Adobe reader installed.  They are all Dell computers, some are of the Vostro desktops, while some are older of the Inspiron.  Questions computers are running Windows XP SP3.

    Any help would be appreciated!

  • Message update\update.exe is not a valid file because the computer has been infected from malware attacks

Original title: update\update.exe message is not a valid file when tried to install IE8 KB2744842 patch

I got this virus live Platinum security.  I think about Microsoft bulletin as CVE - 2012 - 4969 Backdoor: Win 32/Poison.BR supposedly he is gone now with PC Tools Spyware Doctor with antivirus.  I can no longer get critical updates to www.update.microsoft.com and cannot go there and get either them.  I have automatic updates turn on my computer, but when I go to the update site, it asks me to turn on the automatic updates, but doesn't change from red to green.  If I click on the express, it gives me a message there is a problem with the web page.  I have read some solutions and typed in will looking for three files like BIT and update, but the only one listed was the workstation.  I did some research and found the servers to Windows IE8 patch KB2744842 and downloaded and when I tried to install it, he unpacked himself and then ran, and then I got the message saying that update\update is not a valid Win 32 application.  I searched this file and found it was created on 20/09/2012, the same day I had the terrible malware and under properties, it is called configuration of Windows Service Pack, the version of the 6.3.0004.1 built by: dnsrv, internal name update.exe, English, original name: update.exe on my computer, it is C:\\bb5d6cfc84bf6a13dde9b006.update

Try to solve this problem cost me $230 plus the cost of PCTools Spyware.  I called a number to the www.spywarehelpcenter.com to support when I was having trouble installing the PCTools in safemode and said Malwarebytes Pro was much better and used by companies and he said he gave me $150 off so it cost me one once charge $50 and there is no renewal and sold me a one year $ 180 contract to remove the virus and the development of my computer.  He had insisted on it going remotely and showed me all these errors.   I think that I made a mistake to trust him.  Two technicians have worked on my computer remotely on two different days without a firewall and installed Malwarebytes Pro three times because it kept to give a message of corruption, and it is that when I pointed out to them there is no firewall that was added by a sort of sharedaccess.reg problem is I can't get and install the critical updates.  I trust a third time to do things?  They have deleted quite a few programs.  I think that maybe the problem is that they were not aware of the fixit patch and the full patch to IE8.  I run Windows XP Professional and probably should upgrade to Windows 7 in the near future.

I should add that a few days before that happened, I noticed that if I went in sysedit, the config.sys and autoexec.bat files windows were empty.   My computer has always competed, but it seemed very slowly.  I could not find a solution for this and read that you don't really need these files.  I have the original operating system disk and has been reading how to install it, but only for the repair by pressing 'r' and let it repair missing files.   So I don't know what to do.  Any advice?  I am so tired of this, but still have hope to operate correctly.

    Hi Catnip009,

Follow the suggestions below for a possible solution:

Method 1: I suggest you to download and make a bootable CD or USB to Windows Defender in offline mode, and then run the tool.

  • Restarting the computer automatically on its own. You never know how long the computer stays on. Your work and it just turns off and then return.

I had a problem with my AcerPower F2 Windows XP Professional. You will work and it stops just and restart on it. What could be causing it to do this? A virus? I use this computer a lot for school I hope its something fixable. He has had this problem for at least two days that I am aware. Not sure when its going to do this again, its really hard to get anything done when you don't know how much time you have. This will be repeated this unexpectedly, without warning. It will work for awhile then do it again, back and fourth. I can't put up with this, I hope that someone out there has an idea. Thanks much :-)

  • Cannot join Homegroup because the computer clock does not match normal time

I have both windows 7 Home premium, a HP and a Compaq laptops. I can create a homegroup on either, but when opening homegroup on the other page he says that no residential groups exist on the network. The two laptops see each other in exploring it. During troubleshooting, the only error is "synchronize the clock of your computer with your local time. Option is provided to apply the hotfix. When you click to apply the hotfix, it fails with the message "the system time differs from your local time. Times are visibly identical. The time on the router is also exactly two laptops. What standard time windows compares to and how do I make them match?

I suspect that the most likely cause would be the two laptops are on different time zones.  Check the time zone in a right click on the clock in the taskbar and selecting "change date and time.  In this dialog box will have an option to set the time zone.

  • You will need to download older version, because the computer crashed.

I recently had my computer crash.  I need to reinstall my applications, but they are old versions and not listed.  Now what?

You can probably (depends on what age) download trial versions of the software through the site linked below and then use your current serial number to activate.

Don't forget to follow the steps described in the Note: very important Instructions in the section on the pages of this site download and have cookies turned on in your browser, otherwise the download will not work correctly.

    Thanks, Mike

If you follow the 7 steps you can directly download a free trial here: http://prodesigntools.com/download-adobe-cs4-and-cs3-free-trials-here.html

and activate it with your serial number.

If you have a problem downloading, you follow the 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies.

the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow the steps 1, 2, and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system, allowing you to download the correct version of the adobe.com site).

Unable to obtain the cookie translates into an error page displayed after clicking on a link on prodesigntools.com
