• broken iPad splash screen/launch behavior using the landscape for AIR 3.6?

  I've just updated to 3.6 Air (under 4.6 FB) and I now see a problem with my application to launch when the home button is on the left in landscape mode.

  It's on my iPad 2 (current running iOS 6.0). However, this does not happen on my iPad3 (under iOS5.1).

  Launch my app under Air 3.6 on my iPad 2 with button at the House on the left the following sequence occurs:

  -L' splash screen appears correctly.

  -That the splash screen will not disappear, the app to turn backwards and will remain upside after launch of finishing.

  -I turn on the iPad 180 degrees and then again so that it can recognize the good sense.

  I have a few other applications that use the same project as a model and share the same code of launch. An application that I have compiled under Air 3.4 does not have this problem at all on the exact same iPad. The launch sequence works flawlessly.

  I have a few other applications that have been compiled under Air on the same iPad 3.2 which show the following behavior, which is not too serious:

  -L' splash screen appears correctly.

  -L' start for a brief moment screen flips upside down.

  -L' splash screen then rights itself and the application starts the way upward as it should.

  It seems that something has changed in the way AIR 3.6 manages splash screens and the launch of an application.

  I had the same problem, and adding to the Argument of the right Version of Flash Player of compiler corrected it.

  Am using my own splash screen image file, but I would also like to use a different image file for the button (if it is the same for both flash and html) can it be done?

  You look at me in the right direction.  The button icon grey launch (Playbar_icon.png) in the folder folder\assets\playbar_icons html and registered my image .png file, rename it to Playbar_icon.png.  In this way, I didn't have to go into Dreamweaver or do any coding.

• App installs on Z10 when the icon & Splash Screen images are added to the handle Bar

  HI - don't know if it's an unusual question, but my app not install/load on my Z10 when one or both of the pictures icon and Splash Screen are added in the descriptor of Bar.  I development mode and have an installed debugging token and it is still valid.  The strange thing is that the application will be installed on the Simulator without problem.

  If I remove the splash screen images & icon in the Bar descriptor file, the application load on my Z10 with success.

  The images are the right size: 114 x 114 px for the icon and 768 x 1280 px for the SplashScreen.  The Momentics IDE accepts two files by activating beside them.  I also tried to add the images to the Q10 & PlayBook and still no luck with this loading on my device.  I even tried to go back to the image by default for the icon, and who does more either.

  The error I get when trying to install my application on my Z10 with icon images & Splash Screen is:

  It is a known problem with certain versions of BlackBerry OS 10.1.  This article explains the problem and provide a workaround.

• Debug build hangs at the splash screen after Update Beta 4

  Since the update of the fall of November, debug builds Dev Alpha hang at the splash screen.

  By release notes, on the basis of known issues:

  "AIR debugger cannot display the IP host dialog box when a debugging session is initiated. This can cause applications to hang at the splash screen and fail to launch. (240219, 242986) »

  A workaround solution is given for people running Flash Builder, where you explicitly give the Debug IP address host instead

  in relying on the auto-discovery.  I use the command line flow (don't have Flash Builder), and my debug builds that were operating out of now drop from September to the start screen. -DebugHost 169.254.0.2, I added to my blackberry-airpackager command and the debug builds always hang.  Release builds signed with my symbolic debugging normally launch, as they did before the update to the decline in November.

• Splash screen time

  Im just to complete an application and adding a splash with the blackberry file screen - tablet.xml. However, the time that the splash screen is visible is very small, I'd say less then a second. After that the machine just displays a white screen for a few seconds until my application starts. I've noticed other applications have it splash right up until the initial app is displayed.

  In another post on this forum, it was suggested that you are in the initial screen of your app, your splash screen. But I don't understand how this will solve the problem, for me, it seems that the unit will display a blank screen until it launches the app. Is there something im wrong understanding or hurt?

  Well I tried to add a timer and I still have the white screen, then I even went as far as comment on all my browsers view that I put in place in the default MXML application file. And AGAIN, I got a white screen. I guess Flex is just slow at startup. Anywho, I did some research on Google more and came across this article...

  Mark is right, that you have to extend UiApplication.  If you're stuck with having your icon in the list of task switch, and this means that someone can select it.  So you're going to need to have a screen that shows something innocuous.  I guess you may to override the onExposed() method to immediately push the application in the background, but it is not very friendly.  I would say something like an about screen.  This screen have to do anything, except to allow the user to push down (i.e. UiApplication.getUiApplication.requestBackground ()).

  Before you start looking at your other questions, I think that we have to solve this problem.  I think that you need to create a screen associated with your application.  I do this, I have just the requestBackground of the screen as part of the constructor display you only if you click Task switch icon.

  In fact, you might actually use in your start up.  Instead of pushing the dialog box, you could push this screen, then instead of "OK", the user could just ESC on this screen, or you might have a button above, or just made the request in the background.

  "This is my first BB app, so I'm a bit confused about all these things of thread/AC of background".  This isn't the kind of app that I recommend for a first timer.  You did well to get so far!

• Upgrade to Indesign CC 2015.5 - does not open and hangs on the splash screen

  I upgraded to CC 2015.5 2015.  After you have installed indesign, it allowed me to open the program once.  After closing the program, any attempt to reopen causes an error pop up during the splash screen that says "Adobe InDesign CC 2015 has stopped working" and leaves the program.  I uninstalled / reinstalled two times with the same results.  Other 2015,5 improvements seem to be fine, only the Indesign program is having issues.  Any advice would be much appreciated on how to fix or revert to the previous version that worked.

• Plan of cloud creative photography: Photoshop starts. Lightroom only. No splash screen

  I have the plan of creative photography of cloud since April 2015. Everything worked fine, then one day, a few months ago, I started not to be able to launch Ligthroom more.

  Symptoms:

  -When I double click the Ligthroom icon on my desktop or when I try to run from the app dnuee, nothing happens. No splash screen, nothing.

  -Note that launch Photoshop well

  In: PC / Windows 10

  I already spent several hours on the subject.

  Here's what I did:

  -disconnection / connected from dnuee, with or without restarting the computer between == > unsuccessfully

  -Rename SLCache and SLstore == > unsuccessfully

  -Uninstall EVERYTHING (all adobe applications on my computer, same cloud Creative, player, air, flash. EVERYTHING). A ran a registry cleaner. Restarted. Reinstalled from scratch, from creative cloud. == > without success. Lightroom does not start. Photoshop does.

  If I look at amt3.log, it says that it cannot find a license:

• Acrobat Reader DC version 2015.006.30096 how to disable welcome splash screen on first use?

  We are a public library with a few hundred computers accessible to the public. These computers are locked so to restart any changes made by connected boss are deleted to protect the computers and the privacy of the guests. Thus, whenever the computer is used the first start using window comes up. Have been able to disable this in other versions of Acrobat, but not DC/2015. Have you tried following registry with the Customization Wizard changes:

  Also I tried AcrobatDC.admx group policy for the splash screen to the launch, disabled.

  Computers are unlocked after hours to push software installed. Install 2015.006.30033 first, followed by the 2015.006.30096.msp upgrade. Then, the computers are locked again. All this is done without supervision, so it's impossible to connect in each and close the boot welcome screen as a user.

  I notice the same problem when using SCCM to upgrade a desktop clients v11. I make a request the AcroRdr2015Upd1500630097_MUI.msp as part of the upgrade, and it seems that this "feature" has been added in the AcroRdr2015Upd1500630094_MUI.msp patch. Test users saw the pop up window, not read the news and then clicking, then, then until they end up in a screen asking you to sign on information. No doubt this will eventually generate calls to the help desk, so we stopped to spread it.

  Some initial surveys show that, in the registry for the current user, a key of registry Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\2015\FTEDialog has a bShowInstallFTE dword = 1 created right after player DC 2015 is open for the first time and before closing the Welcome dialog box. An initial test shows that manually creating the value and set it to 0 before the upgrade seems to stop the Welcome screen.

  I tried to put this value in the location of HKLM values bShowWelcomeScreen or bUsageMeasurement in the Customization Wizard, but not luck and attempted to add to the HKLU in editor package, but through SCCM installation of the software under a different account, the registry value does not end up in the currently logged on users register immediately.

  I think the fix is to use Group Policy to add the registry key on all workstations before moving their

• Lightroom CC freezes on splash screen

  I've seen a lot of posts on Lightroom CC crashing, but my problem seems to be different.

  I installed Lightroom CC through the CC app.  When I run the application, he asks me to update my catalog.  Once the dialog box "Update Catalog" ended, he launched Lightroom, my catalog appears in the background and then it hangs on the splash screen.  If I click anywhere, it turns black behind the splash screen and the program says it's not answer.  Here is what I tried:

  -uninstalled and reinstalled Lightroom CC (on another hard drive)

  -leave the creative and revived cloud app

  -offline (via preferences) and recorded in creative cloud

  After 2 hours talk time of support with a remote employee access to my computer, he found that it is a problem with my user account.  If I create a new user account in Windows, Lightroom works fine.  So now I can spend the rest of my afternoon trying to figure out how to transfer all my settings to a new account.  Thank you Adobe!  >:(

• iPhone5 broken in the Air 15 & 16 Beta splash screens?

  I tried out an update of the app, but have encountered the following problem.

  The start screen on the iPhone5 running iOS8.1(12B411) does not load properly (other devices seem to have no problem).

  On the previous version of Air I was using this good work (version 14 could have been, I can't remember).

  The first splash half single screen appears on the screen. It is then rotated 90 degrees and stretched to fit the screen to incorrect rotation. Then loading normally.

  It happened when I was compiling with '11/11/2014 - release - 15 AIR Runtime and SDK', if I've updated to "18/11/2014 - Beta - AIR 16.0.0.222 DURATION and SDK" with the new Flash Player 16 and I always meet the same problem. ""

  I have not changed one of my images of startup screen/launch of the latest version of my app that I published for more than a year in September, 1013.

  Everyone sees this problem. This is impacting on my ability to release a major update before Christmas in collaboration with marketing and promotional things that are timed to the release.

  Why you are pointing to a particular SDK, rather than let the AIR to perform the build using the SDK, it includes?

  You seem to be including a lot of splash screens that are not necessary, unless you have different versions of the screen for different orientations. These are most needed:

• V32.2 Vertical Splash Screen problem?

  Hi all

  Looks like the update today has not set the vertical splash screen issue. Even if I build my horizontal application ONLY if the user has the device in a vertical position and starts my app you can briefly see the horizontal splash screen. If the unit is horizontal and the app is launched, the start screen load perfectly. Anyone else see this problem? Thank you.
