Stand alone LR upgrade

I was hoping that some of you could help me with a problem I've had with an upgrade. I have the standalone version of LR, worm 6.6.1 not CC. I would go to 6.7, but the last time I tried to upgrade from a lower version 6.6.1 I got an upgrade to CC & could not use LR at all b/c I do not have a subscription to the CC. The program load, but that's what would happen. I kept getting the message that I don't have a subscription to the CC. Everybody don't know if and how I can upgrade and not crash my program. When I click upgrade in my LR menu bar, it tells me it will modernize CC, but I don't think it will work out of ideas?
Thank you

Don't worry CC/6.7 is the update for the standalone version of Lightroom creative cloud version or Lightroom. Then you can go ahead and download and install the update and you won't lose your data.

  • Don't ' option UPGRADE available after failure ESXi 6.0 on a stand-alone host installation

Dear all, I have a stand-alone host ESXi 5.0 that I tried to install 6.0 on. Installation failed due to missing NIC card r8168 drivers. in any case, I've created a new ISO using ESXi Customizer utility and ready to do it again once the installation of the new ISO standard. The problem now is that there is no 'upgrade' option available when I try to update, I get only the options 'Install' which will eliminate the existing configs etc completely. In summary: the host is still working fine and no problem with it. The issue is that ESXi 6.0 Installer based no existing ESXi installation on the host computer and suggest an installation instead of an upgrade option, what happened after a few failed attempts to run the upgrade. I found this page on this forum https://communities.vmware.com/thread/445526?start=0 & tstart = 0 that says that the solution is to move the directory to a local.tgz (in altbootbank/state.xxxxx/) more high. I don't have any idea how to do this. Appreciate any help on which program use and what commands to run in order to ensure that the old installation is reviewed by the ESXi 6.0 installation program. Thanks, Abid

I managed to PASS my from5.0 host existing 6.0. To solve the problem, I had, I started the ESXi, authenticated and then checked the contents of the directories shell both Bootbank that Altbootbank by using the ls command. Altbootbank was empty. Then I copied all the files from /bootbank to /altbootbank using the cp command and then I could see the 'upgrade' again option for which I had posted this question. Installation was simple using the custom profile that I created using ESXI Customizer. Thanks for your help anyway, I'll close this issue now. Best regards, Abid

  • Question about license for upgrade of stand-alone LR6, mine says creative cloud

I bought the upgraded version of stand-alone LR 6 about a month ago, I had to call and talk to the sales agent to know how. She was very nice and helpful, and I explained that I had tried the CC subscription in January and after 2 weeks decided that it was not for me and it canceled and got a refund of my money. She said no problem and that I could simply upgrade with a stand-alone version and I was not present on the CC subscription plan insofar as she could say. She took my credit card information and sent me the link to download.

Now that I got a month I noticed by looking at the info system only under Version of Lightroom: CC2015.0.1 (1018573) it is said license: CC. That doesn't seem fair. I thought he'd say perpetual or something like that.

I have also noticed that if I click on manage my account and it takes me to the connection, and then the page counts, he told the Plans and products, plan of creative photography of Cloud (one year).

I'm starting to wonder if they still think I'm a CC map.

Serialize Lightroom trial to activate like Lightroom 6 CC

  • How to activate a trial version of 30 days of the stand-alone LR5 once I bought the upgrade?

A long time user of standalone LR (LR4).   Downloaded the trial of 30 days of the stand-alone LR5.  I liked it, so a few days later, I went online and had bought the upgrade of LR4 LR5 stnadalone.   Got the order confirm # and the serial number.   Thought I was AOK.  Today, the 30-day period should have expired and I have yet to use the verssion of the trial, because the develop Module is disabled.  Module dev had simply a message that says stop LR, restart, and then sign in to creative cloud.   I do not have a creative cloud subscription and when I restart, I just go back to the LR 5 disabled.   How 'enable' if that's the right word, my stand-alone bought LR 5 copy?   Mac OS 10.10.1 LR 5.7.1

I went to the Chat line and my problem was solved.  Seems that my downloaded trial version was on the side creative cloud of the Adobe world and not the side autonomous that I wanted.   The Customer Service representative told me through the removal of the trial version, then trial preference file.  Then, he provided a direct link to download the standalone version of LR 5.  When it's done downloading, I should be able to do a normal install and enter the serial number I got a month ago, when I bought the upgrade.

  • A stand-alone 1252 can be converted to AP light?

I received incorrectly an AP 1252 (AIR-AP1252AS-E-K9 model number) and hope to convert to a light AP. But in the documentation for this device is missing in the list of devices that can be converted.

I am also unable to find a tool to upgrade for this model.

Is it possible to convert this device?

Someone on the forum used the last upgrade tool and siad, he was able to convert the LWAPP 1252. You can try it, otherwise here are the steps of another Member on the conversion of these ap:

Here is a method to perform the conversion.

    * Method 1: (Mode key) *.

    1. install an external tool of TFTP for example tftpd32 from http://tftpd32.jounin.net/ tool

    2. assignment of IP address in the range of 10.0.0.2 -.254 (Ex: 10.0.0.3) to the TFTP (your laptop or pc).

    3. download the IOS lwapp image on the tftp root directory. Use http://www.cisco.com or

    http://tools.cisco.com/support/downloads/go/IPCheck.x?defAdv=N&sftAdv=N&image=c1250-rcvk9w8-tar.124-10b.JA3&filepath=/swc/esd/02/crypto/3DES/281235915/guest&filename=c1250-rcvk9w8-tar.124-10b.JA3&advUrl=null&isk=Y&defInd=N&mdfid=281235915&sftType=Autonomous%20To%20Lightweight%20Mode%20Upgrade%20Image&optPlat=&relVer=12.4 (10B) JA3 & starts = 271159 & treeMdfId = 278875243 & tree_name = wireless

    4 rename c1250-rcvk9w8 - tar.124 - 10B .JA3 c1250-rcvk9w8 - tar.default

    5. make sure that you set the IP address on the IVB of the AP interface if it is not set. Set it in the 10.0.0.x range default is 10.0.0.1.

    6. connect the Ethernet port on the AP to your server TFTP (laptop)

7 press and hold the mode button and power off of the AP.

8 power back the AP while constantly maintaining the button mode for 20-30

    seconds.

    * Method 2: (Archive command) *.

    1. install an external tool of TFTP for example tftpd32 from http://tftpd32.jounin.net/ tool

    2. assignment of IP address in the range of 10.0.0.2 -.254 (Ex: 10.0.0.3) to the TFTP (your laptop or pc).

    3. download the IOS lwapp image on the tftp root directory. Use http://www.cisco.com or

    4. make sure that you set the IP address on the IVB of the AP interface if it is not set. Set it in the 10.0.0.x range default is 10.0.0.1.

    5. connect the Ethernet port on the AP to your server TFTP (laptop)

    6. at the point of access, type archive download-sw / overwrite/force-reload tftp: / //c1250-rcvk9w8-tar.124-10b.JA3

  • H - HARVEST with 1142N - stand-alone or models LWAPP

Have a remote site with several stand-alone 1142N APs. Have to replace some old AP and wishes to standardize on the 1142N. Consider using the WPS 4400 control with REAP H rather than have them hang out there alone, but want the backup in case they lose the connection to the office. Wondering if I am better or to buy the LWAPP models continue with the stand alone?

Wait, they can be CONVERTED to work with the controller. You just 'upgrade' the IOS to an image lwapp and boom, he joined a controller. But what I've said, is that you can have the IOS AP as is, work with a controller. You need to make lwapp first, which is just another IOS image that runs on it. (if you check in the download section of cisco.com, you will see '"IOS Software' and"IOS lwapp upgrade image").

So to answer your question in leolahoo, simply upgrade you the IOS in the 'ios to lwapp upgrade image".

command is "archive download-sw/f/o tftp: / /"like when you put a new IOS on it. "

  • Flexconnect AP stuck in stand-alone Mode

    Hi all

I have all my APs configured under flexconnect at the remote site.

I have one controller at the head office.

There are two redundant links of MPLS from the main office to the remote site.

Now the question is, whenever my MPLS does a failover to the redundant link, all my flexconnect that aps disappear from the controller.

I understand that this is due to the clock pulse is expired and the AP in stand-alone mode .

But the APs flexconnect take a terribly long time to spend in connected mode, once flipping over MPLS (which is usually half a minute max).

Infact he takes so long that I have to manually close/reset switch-ports (POE) on which all the access points on the remote site are connected!

There are some adjustments that I'm missing here? or do I have I'll upgrade my firmware? By the way, my controller is currently on S/W ver: 7.4.121.0.

If you have a test controller, you can test it with a different code of the WLC software. Otherwise reach TAC Cisco and see known issues with this code on it.

  • stand-alone server from acs 2008 available software?

I use acs 4.2 on a windows 2003 server sp2 in my current network. The network has been replaced and I'm a software/windows 2008 Server and build the application. I'm a bit confused as too the available software. The acs software only 5.4 I see is for the appliance and vmware. Is this software available for stand-alone servers is not end of life?  Or can I use acs 4.2 on the stand-alone server and update all the way to 5.4. I think they would have a base at one of the levels 5.x package... Any information would be appreciated

    Hello

I would like to inform you about the following things:

1 ACS 5.x cannot be installed on the server of widnows as ACS 4.x

2 ACS 5.x cannot be installed on the vmware (Linux-based) or as a device.

    3 ACS 4.x is a box of windows-based and ACS 5.x is a device based on linux/VMware

    4. you can configure vmware or a device such as a stand alone ACS5.x box.

5 ACS 4.2.1.15 is available up to now and is still not end of life.

    6. you can upgrade the ACS 4.2.0.124 to 4.2.1.15, however it is not compatible with windows 2008 r2 box.

    7. you is impossible to pass the ACS ACS 5.4 4.2, you can buy seprate for ACS 5.4 license and then you can migrate the database from 4.2 to 5.4

  • Stand-alone 3502I without controller?

I have a client with several former Aironet 1121 G from WAP.  In one place of the factory several big engine noise levels prevents a reliable connection to the WAP, even if it is located in the same room as users.  I mean updated the 1121G to the 3502I to take advantage of Clean Air technology.  This raises two questions:

    1) will be able to effectively manage the RF noise only 3502I or it requires a WAP network to work properly?

    (2) the 3502I requires the controller of CT2504 to clean at work, or it will run in stand-alone mode?

    Thanks in advance,

    Joe

Does that drop the connection speed down to about 1Mb/s?

NO. 802. 11A is high-speed, short-range radio.  802. 11b is long range and low speed and has 3 channels of Alcan.

Unfortunately, if you have a noisy RF environment, putting a WLC (DCA, with active PTC) can help.  Without this, you need to constantly monitor each WAP and manually change the channels and Tx power.

You are in a situation a little "who comes in first place, the chicken or the egg".  If you cannot afford to get a WLC with your solution, don't bother upgrading.  It's a waste of money.

  • What is the latest stand-alone Windows? (for loading on Mac via MVware Fusion)

I just brought 8.1 Windows online, thinking it was a full version.

Now I am looking to buy a stand alone (no version upgrade) but may not know what is the latest...

I'm loading on my mac to run other software.

    Thank you

The latest version is Windows 8.1

In order to load on your Mac, you need to do is a. ISO file

You will probably need to do this from a Windows machine.

    or

You will need to use it on a Windows based PC running Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8/8.1

An alternative is to download the Windows Enterprise 8.1 90 day trial and use it to facilitate the installation of the copy that you have downloaded.

Download Windows Enterprise 8.1 90 days:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/evaluate-Windows-8-1-Enterprise

Make sure you only download the architecture that is supported on your Mac, if you plan to use 32-bit or 64-bit of Windows 8.

    To learn more:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/32-bit-and-64-bit-Windows

Once you have the Windows Enterprise 8.1 downloaded ISO 90 day trial, use it to install Windows on your Mac with Boot Camp 8.1:

    http://arstechnica.com/information-technology/2012/11/no-support-no-problem-installing-Windows-8-on-a-Mac-with-boot-camp/

Once you have Windows Enterprise 8.1 90 trial upward and running, download the Windows 8.1 Upgrade Wizard and use that to install the copy of Windows 8.1 you buy:

Also, make sure that you create the installation during the installation media:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/create-reset-refresh-media

  • Stand-alone server installation

    Never noticed THAT before.

    Oracle 5, 64 - bit Linux.

If you install GI 11.2.0.1 (from V17531 - 01.zip) options are the following.  Note "install and Configure Grid Infrastructure fo a stand-alone server.

But if installation 11.2.0.2 or later (for example, p10098816_112020_Linux - x 86 - 64_3of7.zip), the options are the following.  Note that now the only thing for a standalone server is 'configure', not "install and configure".

It seems that if I want to build a new system with 11.2.0.2 (at 11.2.0.4), autonomous, no cluster, I must first install 11.2.0.1 then patch up, despite the fact that these patches are supposed to be "install complete".

Since Oracle Clusterware and Oracle ASM upgrades are always out of updates up to date.

With 11.2, we cannot perform an upgrade on existing homes instead of Oracle Clusterware and Oracle ASM.

I think it's only a "bug" where the word 'Install' is missing.

No matter if installing a new charge or upgrade, will be always new installation will then set up a new or move current config to the new House.

  • Buy stand-alone Lightroom and cancel the creative cloud

I am a CC subscriber, but don't use PS but as LR. Accordingly, I prefer to cancel my subscription to the CC and LR just buy on a stand-alone basis for money. Unfortunately, despite the existence that there seems to be every option to ask questions of Adobe 'support' on how to go about it, in fact it doesn't seem to be anyone there and I went through all the options I can think of. Any suggestions gratefully accepted.

Download and install Adobe Lightroom 6 (single App license)

Early termination of your subscription can cost you a penalty.  You will need to discuss with the customer directly.   Contact customer service

Perpetually licensed software do not receive updates/upgrades.   It is what it is.  However, the Plan of photography ensures that your software is always up to date and able to work with newer camera files.  Something to consider.
