Stand By Mode time setting

How set you the mode on the S10 stand?  If I watch a video or something on there, the screen will Dim every minute or so and I have to use the touch pad to bring it back.

Is it possible to adjust that? or just disable it when you watch a video there?

    Select sid, serial #, sql_id, last_call_et, situation, event, State, seq #, seconds_in_wait, p1, p1text

    session $ v

    where sid = 121

Run the query several times and see the EVENT, STATE, SECONDS_IN_WAIT, P1 and P1TEXT

SECONDS_IN_WAIT would show how long the session waiting for the current wait event.

EVENT is the event of waiting.

Is that it is pending or WAITED last (on the previous wait - that would be the EVENT)

SEQ # would be incremented for each new expectation.

  • Flexconnect AP stuck in stand-alone Mode

    Hi all

I have all my APs configured under flexconnect at the remote site.

I have one controller at the head office.

There are two redundant links of MPLS from the main office to the remote site.

Now the question is, whenever my MPLS does a failover to the redundant link, all my flexconnect that aps disappear from the controller.

I understand that this is due to the clock pulse is expired and the AP in stand-alone mode .

But the APs flexconnect take a terribly long time to spend in connected mode, once flipping over MPLS (which is usually half a minute max).

Infact he takes so long that I have to manually close/reset switch-ports (POE) on which all the access points on the remote site are connected!

There are some adjustments that I'm missing here? or do I have I'll upgrade my firmware? By the way, my controller is currently on S/W ver: 7.4.121.0.

If you have a test controller, you can test it with a different code of the WLC software. Otherwise reach TAC Cisco and see known issues with this code on it.

    Now, it's a coincidence - Colm just posted on this topic today: {: identifier of the thread = 2318817}

This is the relevant part of your stack trace. You must call http://: 8070/apex/listenerConfigure and complete the initial configuration (mainly the database connection settings) before you can access the APEX for the first time.

Sleep Timer Pavillion DV 7 - How do you set the timer for a different time setting?

    Hello Pidcock,

Welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience! To help you get the most out of the Forums of HP, I would like to draw your attention to the Guide of the Forums HP first time here? Learn how to publish and more.

I understand that you want to change on your computer sleep timer. I'll be happy to answer that question for you. Now you have not specified what operating system you are using, so I guess it's the same operating system provided with your computer (Windows 7). I will provide you the HP support document: Management of power (Windows 7 and Vista) Options, which will guide you in how to set the power of your laptop. Just in case you have upgraded to Windows 8 I am also including the HP Support document: Manage the power (Windows 8) Options. This document will guide you through the same steps in Windows 8.

I hope that I have answered your question to your satisfaction. Thanks for posting this question on the Forums of HP. Have a great day!

  • Mode conversion controller in stand-alone mode in cisco 1702

I have cisco AP 1702 and in controller mode. I don't have the controller so want to convert in stand-alone mode. I went through various items for this and found this interesting way to do.

    Run this command to convert:

    # swarm - Standalone mode
    # reload

I found this on this link: http://community.arubanetworks.com/t5/Controller-less-WLANs/How-to-conve...

Similarly, going through the longer process, I downloaded this for the standalone mode: https://software.cisco.com/download/release.html?mdfid=286281141&flowid=...

and for stand-alone mode, I have this one: https://software.cisco.com/download/release.html?mdfid=286281141&flowid=...

Here are the files I'm looking for?

    Help, please.

This original link can cause a headache for an Aruba AP which is different.

    Try this method:

    https://ripplesinharmony.WordPress.com/2013/01/28/downgrading-a-Cisco-lightweight-AP-to-autonomous-mode/

The software of the first link you posted (https://software.cisco.com/download/release.html?mdfid=286281141&flowid=71622&softwareid=284180979&release=15.3.3-JC1&relind=AVAILABLE&rellifecycle=ED&reltype=latest) will work for the standalone mode (stand-alone).

This second link is light which means the controller-based and you don't want that for this scenario.

    See you soon,.

  • In stand by mode physical map?

    Hello

I am running vSphere Server version 5.1.0 (build 799731).

All my ESXi hosts have version 5.1.0 799733.

I noticed that on some on my ESXi hosts, one of the physical card for the vMotion VMkernel oucederomsurlesecondport IDE, is in stand by mode, but the other physical card is in normal mode.

I have attached a screendump of the question.

Can you help me explain this?

    Kind regards

    Carl-Marius

Assuming that the two uplinks are configured properly, the usual configuration would be to have two active uplinks to the vSwitch and override settings in the groups of ports. For example vmnic0 active/vmnic1 stand-by for the management and vmnic1/vmnic0 active waiting for vMotion. In this way both management vMotion having their affair rising dedicted unless there is a failure of the link.

  • Can join a Cluster of storage disk out of Maintenance DTS Mode to set up the profiles for a virtual machine storage policies?...

Can join a Cluster of storage disk out of Maintenance DTS Mode to set up the profiles for a virtual machine storage policies?...

IE can you define the rules of affinity DTS depending on how the rules of storage of profiles are configured for a virtual machine?

In my mind it seems there is disconnect from the DTS and storage profiles.

    Thank you.

    = NOTE =.

My lab at home, 2 organizes running ESXi 5.0

    Dv01 has

    Of startup vmfs 7200 RPM 160 G = dv01-BOOT

    Vmfs 1 TB 7200 RPM = VM02-VMFS

    VM02 has

    Of startup vmfs 7200 RPM 160 G = VM02-BOOT

    Vmfs 1 TB 7200 RPM = VM02-VMFS

    Vmfs 5900 RPM 2 TB = VM02-TV01

I have (3) facility profiles of storage using 'User-defined storage Capablity' as shown below:

    (160 @ 7200 RPM SATA) boot > Boot

    Fast (160 7200 RPM SATA and 1 TB @ 7200 RPM SATA) > fast

    Slow (2 TB @ 5900 RPM SATA) > slow

Then, I set up a storage Cluster with my local disks on dv01 (only to date)

LocalVM disc dv01-BOOT and dv01-VMFS disk of the 'cluster of storage.

I have a computer virtual called DC01 (HardDisk1) want to live on 'Boot' profile storage drive
His "Non-compliant" poster according to the storage profile, it should run on drive 'boot' on dv01

To get to this point, I put the StorageCluster in Mode of Maintenace 'DTS' and forced a sVmotion of all virtual machines off dv01-BOOT

No disks are IO or claim of space.

But once I take the 'DTS Maintenacne mode' STARTUP dv01 floppy is now get the DTS to return him to satisfy the storage profile (rule) I install... IE do the 'storage profile' VM complient (without doing a few externall API, the PS script or the 3rd party software calls)... ??

Seems weird it is (or may be) such disconnection of a memory of the profiles and the StorageClusters and the DTS?

    Thank you...

At this point, I think that storage DRS and storage profiles are two technologies to separate and work independently, but what you suggest is a great idea-

  • Stand-alone mode - scalability

    Hello

We have an environment where we organize the listener of the APEX in stand-alone mode (on linux). Currently, it works on dev environments and test.
The question is how to dimensionnera the independent auditor once we expose this to hundreds of users in the production environment?

I know that the cost of not using a J2EE server is the management and control, but how to dimensionnera the independent auditor from deployment to a Web server?

    Brgds
    Martin B. Nielsen

The stand-alone mode is only for development purposes. It is not intended for production use. You will need to use a proper application for the production server.
