  • Able to create 3 SSID

  • Able to create the SSID

If you are looking for a stand-alone AP then watch these (802.11n):

1142
1260. these require external antennas

The 3500's and the 3600's are CleanAir and is not really interesting to use these, if you do not have a WLC.

  • Where can I find a standalone installation package, and not the current upgrade stub?

My home connection is dial-up and to download an 'upgrade' of 40 MB solution would take about 2 hours. I use a public computer with free broadband to download the installation packages of all the software that I use. I can record these packets to a flash drive to take home to work on my computer. The solution of "upgade" Mozilla trying to upgrade the public computer. I don't get a portable installation package. Of course, it serves me.

Also, if I have a standalone installation package, I can keep it incase I need to re - install, or if I want to share Firefox with someone else.

Please send me a link to a standalone, portable installation package I can download.

    Thank you in advance.

  • There is no chance to install a standalone engine shared Variable of EVS?

    Hello!

I wrote a small application that reads the values of a NetworkVariable created on the local computer. The address of this variable is something like \\127.0.0.1\System\test1

That I can see, I can use this type of variable (I mean System -based) that if I installed an EVS (by Measurement Studio). But to install Measurement Studio, I need too Visual Studio...

There is a way to work properly with NetworkVariables based on a system without having to install everything as I said before? AES is responsible for the correct operation of NetworkVariables? In this case, is there any chance to install a standalone engine shared Variable of EVS?

    Thank you!

I found the solution to help NI MeasurementStudio 2008:

    Server deployment

In this scenario, you must deploy the motor Variable shared to another machine that plays the role of the server. To deploy the shared Variable engine, you must run an installation on the target computer. The required Installer is installed with Measurement Studio for the [InstallDir] \ Redist\NINETVARSERV folder.

You can view all the command-line options to run the installation program with setup.exe /? . Command line options, you can choose to run the installer in silent mode.

You can use the Variable Manager to create and configure network on the server variables. The variable Manager is installed by default. To run the Setup program without installing the Variable Manager, run setup.exe /prop VARMANEXCLUDE=1 command. To run the installation program of engine Variable shared in silence and without the Variable Manager, run setup.exe /q /acceptlicenses yes /prop VARMANEXCLUDE=1 command.

  • deploy programmatically variable shared within the standalone version of RT (cRIO-9014)

    Hello

I have a question about here to use variables shared single process within the standalone version of RT for the cRIO-9014

I simplified my request of LV (LV2010) in two to test the use of shared variables.  See the attached file.

    (1) only run on the host PC: testHost
    (2) only works on the cRIO-9014: testRTcRIO

for both, I packed stand-alone executable and source distribution.

    for testHost,.
    (a). I copied \builds\testcRIO\Host to d:/or-rt/xmlrpcFEU source Distribution...
    (b) I run... \builds\testcRIO\Host.exe
    (c) xmlrpcFEUlog - host.txt is generated.

    for testRTcRIO,.
    (a) .d FileZilla to connect to the target of RT on network, I copied... \builds\testcRIO\Source Distribution\c\ni - rt\xmlrpcFEU

to/or-rt/xmlrpcFEU on the target of RT
    (b) I copied also... \builds\testcRIO\Real-Time Application\c\ni - rt\startup to/or-rt/startup on the target of RT
    (c) Max, I restarted the cRIO-9014.
    (d) xmlrpcFEUlog - RT.txt is generated.

We see that the shared variable does not work inside the RT target. but worked well on PC. the deployment programmatically method does not work.  any suggestion?

    Another thing is:
can I use telnet for the RT 9014 target and start the RT app directly? What is the command inside the terminal telnet RT?

Currently, I can telnet into the cRIO-9014, but, what I can do with it?

  • Bug: Missing TAB in standalone application

So far I was at a loss to refine this bug to a small example VI if it is here in general terms, in the hope that someone will have a solution to this.

I have an application with a large number of subVIs that I develop on a machine Windows XP (LV 2012 latest patch). The main VI has control tab with 10 tabs in it (more a hidden one). I have no trouble to release it as a source distribution on a Win7 64-bit (LV 2012 64 bit running) computer. Things work very well.

When I try to release it as a standalone application, the tab control disappears on the same exact machine where it works very well as a distributed source! Obviously it now installs as a 32-bit application, since I developed it on a Windows XP machine.

If I release the same code on another WinXP machine (in fact a MBP under WinXP laptop to in Parallels Desktop), I have no trouble either...

Where my tabs is on the Win7 machine?

I tried and check if a simple application of the VI with a tab on the PF would show the same problem, but that seems not to be the case... Nasty bug!

  • Quit standalone, but not in story editor LabView

    Hello

I have a button leave on my application that I would leave the application entirely (that is to say, the command Quit LabView) during its operation as a stand-alone exe, but not when I run the VI in the Editor environment. Is it possible to determine if a VI runs as a standalone exe?

    Kind regards

    Casper

Try the attached VI. It uses the application name property to determine whether to quit or stop

  • A way to tell if VI is running standalone or called?

Is there an easy way to tell if a VI is running standalone or if she has been called by some other VI?

I have same screws that are usually called by other VI. But for testing purposes, I would also like to be able to turn. Unfortunately, these screws may have certain conditions of installation, entries, queues and the things that they do not need when they are called.

If the VI can tell if it is running stand-alone, it can make a default initialization, which is moreover not necessary, so that it can run standalone.

THANKS for your help and suggestions.

  • Windows Vista SP2 - Standalone vs Windows Update

Here's a quick question I hope is easy to answer:

I still have to install Service Pack 2 on my Vista machine for various reasons that are not related. Anyway, now I can't, so my question is whether it is better to install from Windows Update tool or use the standalone package.

I already downloaded it as a standalone package in an emergency, but I remember in the past some operating systems (XP, I think and Windows 95) usually installed a better set of updates when you download as a standalone rather than Windows Update.

What are the views of the professionals?

In general, I would recommend Windows Update.  This isn't to the dark days of the prerequisites on the web Windows Update and Windows XP. :-)

There will be less to download because it will not need to download any original launch here.  It's just going to take what you need.  If you have already downloaded but just use it instead.  No point in wasting bandwidth. :-)

  • Vs (standalone chassis and controller) chassis

main difference b/w the chassis and independent chassis and controller , for example

    Real-time or cDAQ-9138

    and

    NEITHER cDAQ-9178

    What is the best?

The 9138 is a standalone chassis, running Windows or OTR.

The 9178 is just a chassis holding your Modules of e. You must have a computer connected to make measurements.

And questions what is the best, can only be answered if we know your needs.

In any case, I would recommend to contact your local office of NOR and speak with a technical sales representative.

  • X 86 Vista SP1 Home Premium fails when you try to install Vista SP2 Standalone - error 0x800f0823 - lots of useful information

    Greetings,

I am trying to install the SP2 update. For a long time, I had not to install updates, many of them still kep default without obvious reason. However, I ran Vista update readiness tool and has been able to install updates at least 23 were stuck because of the fault of those previously and the latest update is Windows Update says I need Service Pack 2 (SP2). I downloaded the standalone form my version of Vista Home Premium x 86 version and tried to install it and it will appear as follows:
Then, he breaks down and gives me the following screen:
The error code given is 0x800f0823 of the failure of the installation of SP2.

The %SYSTEMDIR%/WindowsUpdate.log gives this as the error message:
    : Updates automatic initialization.

    2009-07-03 15:42:39:468 1168 bc0 Service *.

Anyway, I saw this error message and in a post, he suggested that I run the following command in the terminal:
    sfc/scannow
And he said that there was some corrupted files and I need to restart.
Here is a link to the CBS after the first sfc scan: http://www2.ryankaskel.com/misc/logs/CBS1.log
I ran the scan again, and here's the reuslt:
    C:\Users\ryan>sfc/scannow
Start scanning system.  This process will take time.
Start of the phase of verification of the scanning system.
    Full check of 100%.
Windows resource protection did not find any breach of integrity.
I retry the stand-alone installation of Vista SP2 and it fails with the error message.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I use a D110a as a standalone Copier.  However, I can't copy. I select copy (OK), color print (OK), the number of copies (1) and it puts me right at the beginning. Tried the power reset, but does not work. What can I do else?

Looks like the printer is in a non-responsive State.  There is a document with steps to help resolve when a printer is out of order, found here.

However, a restart of the internals of the printer may be in order to get this device in operation.  I'll send the steps to perform the factory reset via private message.  Before performing the steps, please read the thread of Bob_Headrick printer resets.  This thread is here.
