Start Pause help!

I can get the captivate video to pause at the start with a transparent button. But what I need to happen is to have the bar of games begin with the triangle game, not break lines, so when the video come the user clicks the play button in the playback bar. Does anyone have any suggestions?

This issue is finally resolved. After I compared the FORMS_BUILDER_CLASSPATH variables in the environment vs registry Variables, I found I was missing C:\Oracle\Middleware\oracle_common\doc\online_help\oracle_forms in the registry. After that I added it it still didn't fix it. Then I found that entry C:\Oracle\Middleware\Oracle_FRHome1\jlib\ewt3.jar was pointing at my old House, so I have fixed to point to Oracle_FRHome instead of Oracle_FRHome1 and my forms launched immediately. We also bought this monitor to her (though I doubt it's important in this case):

HP S1931a 18.5 "diagonal LCD screen

The problem started about two months ago when the computer turns off without reason then that slowed down (before sleep should have started). After the computer restarts, he gave the beep codes that there was a problem with memory (1 short beep, 1 beep, long pause, repeat) long. After power back off and remove all devices and the power cable, the RAM has been removed (2 x 2 GB), checked for dust, bad seats, pins bent, etc...  The 2 RAM sticks have been resettled and the problem seems to be resolved.

Fast forward two months (a bit more under warranty), the same problem occurs. This time, replace the RAM has not fixed the problem. Sometimes the computer should boot properly and then randomly cut regardless of what the processor was doing (idle or under load of 25% or more). In addition, beep codes would perhaps only half the time where it would not start. The output has been verified for feeding and another (proven) outlet has also been tried. No change. At this point, the computer won't be enough for any start screen at all, not even a blue screen.

What he do to power on:

    • All powered fans (power supply, fan CPU cooler, case) and a spin at full speed.
    • Hard drive to wind up.
    • Green light on the power supply remains stable.
    • VA CD drive open and close normally.

What is does not power upward:

    • No display at all.
    • No beep codes.
    • No blue light on the button walk / stop (top of case).
    • CPU does NOT get hot to the touch after 5 seconds to be under tension (with the fan and the heatsink removed and unplugged).
    • With two strips of RAM not removed, no beep of any kind.

I also tried to use an old video card, I had to hang out, thinking that maybe the onboard graphics card were no longer works. The video card gets power as his fan runs, also at full speed. Still no display.

I already bought a pair of replacement RAM sticks, exact same specifications and brand (Crucial), no difference. I tried all combinations of each stick into each slot with the original of the RAM in the first place, so I assumed it was sticks and replaced. Now that the RAM has been replaced and no beep codes, I suspect the motherboard or the CPU.

I also tried to reset the BIOS by removing the battery for 10 + minutes and also move jumper to 2-3 1-2 during 10 seconds and replace (with power off).

What I want to know is which component I need to replace to get this computer working before its tax season. I'd like to think it's the processor, because it remains cold to the touch after turning on. If this is the case, can someone confirm that this is a suitable replacement? If it's the motherboard (I hope not), it can be replaced without having to re - install windows? I can't find an exact replacement for the H - I41 - Μatx Foxconn (Eton). HP has one of these in stock that could be shipped out?

I know that the computer is already out of warranty (barely) and can do the work myself, but need help to determine the problem I want to throw the money to do this work right.

Thank you in advance for your help!

    John

Hello jkalbin, I think a bad mother rather than the processor card. Chess with the processors don't happen often at all. You should never feed a computer with radiator/fan all not attached to the processor. Just 5 seconds without the radiator/fan could easily burn a processor.

The fact that the processor had no hot does not mean it does not work, if the motherboard does not send power to the processor.

Motherboard failures are many times more often than the failures of processor. I had one processor to fail in more than 25 years of working with computers.

    Just some thoughts.

  • 2006 iMac does not start. Help restore

I have an Intel iMac core duo with iSight and built in disk drive around 2006. It does not start.

When I turn on, it sounds and passes to the gray screen with the apple logo and a progress bar or a spinning wheel. Then he stops down. I tried all the troubleshooting and nothing works. In addition, I don't have the disks that originally from cane with the computer. So I can't make a diagnosis of the hardware. (Unless someone is willing to sell me their album hehe).

This problem happened to me in 2012. I had a friend restore the computer to empty the hard disk, then boot from the snow leopard disc and reinstall everything. It worked like a charm.

In 2013, a disc is stuck in the drive. I have troubleshooted only and nothing has worked. I assumed that the drive is dead and has continued to use the computer without worrying about that. Then, in 2014 someday when I restarted, the disk jumped! I never tested the drive then because I was afraid of another stuck disc. Then, the computer is dead again as he did in 2012.

SO I know what to do. I need to wipe the hard drive and start over. However, I didn't have a drive. So, I bought one on eBay. When I insert it, the computer enters the disc. I can hear the mechanics works. It ejects even properly. However, I can't boot from the drive. When I start the iMac by pressing option, I don't see the Macintosh, no disk drive.

My hard drive died? If so, a USB dvd drive would work? If USB does not work, how can I replace the drive?

Is it possible that I bought a drive bad or fake software and that's why I can't boot from the dad?

    Please help in some way!

  • MacBook Pro glued on the gray screen and does not start. Help, please!

    Hello

My 13 "MacBook Pro (mid-2009), running Snow leopard (10.6.8), has finally given up and won't start.

I tried to boot into SafeMode several times, but the loading bar does not move and the laptop just completely stops.

I also tried to boot in single user mode with the command fsck - fy, but this results in the following:

    disk 0 s 2: I / 0 error

    Invalid node structure

    (4,35296)

    * The Macintosh HD volume could not be completely checked.

    / dev/rdiskOs2 (hfs)

    You leave with signal 8

I guess that means that there is something wrong with the hard disk and some corrupt files?

My problem is that I have no time machine backups, so I would like to know if it is possible to do something to get to the top and running.

That, I do not have an external drive with my main important files and photos on a failure, so is it possible to completely erase the computer so I can sell it at least?

I really need help on what I've been driving myself crazy trying to figure it out!

I'm not all techniques with regard to the material. I tried doing research and have seen things, which suggests that I should reinstall the OS X, this would imply in the disks provided with the laptop when the power?

    Any advice greatly appreciated!

  • Z500 Lenovo does not start. Help, please!

Hi guys! First time on the forum. I recently got my lenovo Z500 a few months ago and it's a great laptop. However at night last he simply stopped working. While I was just surfing the Internet Windows started does not. It got to the point where I had no choice but to turn it off. When I turned it back on it rest on the start screen, and nothing happens. When it starts the fan is silent and then in a bit of overdrive. My friend is of the opinion that it is a problem with windows 8, but unfortunately it won't even let me do a safe mode boot. F8 does not work and my only chance was to F12, but unfortunately, even if it brings the option of boot and I can select the screen goes black and stay like that. Thank you very much in advance for anyone who can provide any help!

My apologies if I'm a little in every sense. Unfortunately I am very amateur when comes to computers. How can I go about starting the recovery media in the USB port? Once again sorry if I melt your brain. I don't have a clue haha.

In fact, you have several options:

    1. you can call Lenovo and request to do the repair if your camera is still under warranty.

    2. If you don't mind losing any of your data and custom programs, you can try to restore your system back to factory default by pressing the NOVO button (located next to the plug) while the unit is turned off. Select a recovery key and choose restore. You can read the details by downloading the user guide and go to page 23. Links: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/detail.page?DocID=UM016744.

    3. USB recovery media initialize.

  • Computer laptop Windows XP does not start? Help

Hi I have a windows xp laptop I think that their system eis or something like that... Whenever I start the laptop, he's going on the error you get when your dosent laptop shut down correctly. If I click on start normally the bar will spend about a quarter of the way and then just stayed forever and only safe mode also gets a freeze from then. Y at - it something wrong with the laptop or what. How can I get my laptop to work again... someone help me please.

It is up to tell you to us what brand of system and the model is... not "system ist or something like that."

When you choose to start safe mode and you can see all the stuff being loaded and the system crashes, which is the last line on the screen to say?

If you attached an external equipment, especially USB devices, disconnect everything and then you can see if things seem better.

If you get an error message windows system config, exactly what he says?

    No error paraphrased messages please!

    It was something like this:

Windows XP could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM

Which usually indicate some sort of corruption of system files may be a loss of power, aborted reboot or abnormal termination? (This includes the plug pulling, buttons power and removing the battery).  None of this seems familiar?

If you can boot from a CD, you can create a CD bootable XP (no XP media required) Recovery Console and run chkdsk with correction of errors on the afflicted to start System.

    Here's how:

If you have no XP bootable media (or aren't sure you have) create a bootable XP Recovery CD of Console and do not forget what you have (no XP media required).

This is not the same as recovery disks that might have come with the acquisition of the system store.

You can make a bootable Recovery Console CD by downloading an ISO file and burn it to a CD.

The ISO bootable image file you need to download is called:

    xp_rec_con. ISO

    Download the ISO from here:

    http://www.mediafire.com/?ueyyzfymmig

Use a new CD and this simple and free program to burn your ISO file and create your bootable CD (do not install UniBlue or the Ask Toolbar - never!):

    http://www.ImgBurn.com/

Here are some instructions for ImgBurn:

    http://Forum.ImgBurn.com/index.php?showtopic=61

It would be a good idea to test your bootable CD on a computer running.

You may need to adjust the computer BIOS settings to use the CD-ROM drive as the first device to boot instead of the hard drive.  These adjustments are made before Windows tries to load.  If you miss it, you will need to restart the system again.

When you start on the CD, follow the instructions:

Press any key to boot from CD...

    Installing Windows... going to pronounce.

Press 'R' to enter the Recovery Console.

Select the installation that you want to access (usually 1: C:\WINDOWS)

You may be asked to enter the password (usually empty).

You should be in the folder C:\WINDOWS.  It's the same as the

C:\Windows folder that you see in Solution Explorer.

The Recovery Console allows base as file commands: copy, rename, replace, delete, chkdsk, fixboot, fixmbr, cd, etc.

For a list of the commands in the Recovery Console, type help at the prompt of commands or read on here XP Recovery Console:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/proddocs/en-us/recovery_console_cmds.mspx?mfr=true

A good idea before you start things must first verify the integrity of your file system by using the chkdsk command.

In the command prompt window, run the chkdsk command on the drive where Windows is installed to try to fix any problems on the afflicted player.

Running chkdsk is fine, even if he finds no problem.  It won't hurt anything to run it.

Assuming your boot drive is C, run the following command:

    CHKDSK C: /r

Let chkdsk finish to correct the problems, he could find.

It may take a long time for chkdsk complete or they seem to be "stuck".  Be patient.  If the HARD drive led blinks always, chkdsk is something.  Keep an eye on the amount of the percentage to be sure that it is still making progress.  It may even seem to go back sometime.

You must run chkdsk/r again until it finds no error to correct.

Remove the CD, and then type "exit" to exit the RC and restart the computer.

You have not to set the BIOS to boot the disk HARD since the CD won't be.

You may have a bad file that confuses the firmware as it tries to start.

Can connect you to your computer? (Preferably in MSC mode.)

Try to run the error as explained in this FAQ checking.

    http://forums.SanDisk.com/Sansa/board/message?board.ID=announcements&message.ID=147&jump=true#M147

If this does not work, you will have to Format and delete all of your files. (If you can connect, make copies first - but when you reload, reload only a little at a time if you don't put a bad once again.)

If you can establish a connection to MSC, right click on the drive of the unit (X (any letter): Sansa E200) and choose the Format to FAT32.

    Or use the sansa.fmt here:
