start the instance failed on linux...

My database starts automatically with the start of linux... but I made a few changes in the NETWORK CONFIGURATION changed hostname: hostname TEST: local.localdomain

now, again, I have reset its value previous hostname: local.localdomain

When that I log out and when you connect, I get the following message:

Could not look up internet address for localhost. This will prevent the GNOME to work correctly.
It may be possible to correct the problem by adding localhost.localdoman to the/etc/host file

When I login I the Oracle instance not started automatically...

When I run the startup... I get below error:
[ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [keltnfy-ldmInit], [46], [1] [] [] [], [],]

Well, it's one of these some errors which can be solved using only without support. What is happening is that your db is not able to find the host name, and it cannot start. The reason is that you must have a DHCP based machine. In your/etc/hosts, it must that any input should and the output of hostname-f must not enter. If it is Yes, then you must add the IP address to your/etc/hosts as. Read this post of mine where I describe the solution of the same mistake.

    Hello

You cannot give this information directly at the start of clusterware.
This option is to disable the resources, you do not want to start before running the node.
Note: You can do it from another node, to disable the startup on the node that you want to start:

In general, you can do this with
    Disable srvctl $

The correct syntax depends on the type of management you used.
    Managed political use of databases:

    srvctl disable the d - n database

    Administrator management databases:

    srvctl disable instance d -i "".

Published by: traore on 25 October 2012 14:25

    Hello

you have defined a REMOTE_LISTENER parameter in the database which can be solved with the TNSNAMES.ora uses the clusterware.

    Then 2 possibilities:

(a.) your tnsnames.ora to the dbhome contains no entry of the LISTENERS_BOPA.
    (b) you use a tnsnames.ora different due to the use of the TNS_ADMIN variable. It's probably settled in the sqlplus environment, but not on the level of database/instance when clusterware tries to start.

    Set it with:
    setenv srvctl database d t ' "TNS_ADMIN =".

or perhaps at the level of the instance (instance of setenv srvctl - but I'm not sure it exists.) Sorry no atm 11.1 cluster to check).

  • Leave only one participant who started the instance runs workitems

    Hello

I tried setting participant.sticky = true in the BeginIn of the process but did not work.

Please tell me how to get there.

Edited by: 22 Elina_ Ιαν 2013 03:35 μμ

    Hi Elina,

One way to do this in 10g would be to add this logic in an automatic activity immediately preceding your Interactive activity:

    participant.next = creation.participant

'Participant' and 'creation' variables are variables predefined which is created automatically when a new work item instance is created. By the "participant.next" parameter, you say engine Oracle BPM work item must only show a person (from the default value of the being in the queue of each person who plays) in the queue. Setting it to "creation.particpant", that you want to set it to the person who created the work item instance.

Original title: Madden nfl 08 problem

I have windows 7, after I start the game when say "click to start" the cursor fail, I can't move the cursor

    Hello

    1. have you made changes on the computer recently?
2 do you have this game never properly run on your computer?

    Method 1.
Check if it is set to the correct resolution. Before starting the game controls the display settings in the game.
In addition, you can try to change the hardware acceleration and then check. Here's how:
    a. right click on a space empty on the desktop.
    b. go to the resolution of the screen.
    c. click Advanced settings, and then click the "troubleshooting."
    d. set the hardware acceleration in the middle. (You will get the option only if your video card supports).

    Method 2.
Another possibility could be a third-party application is at the origin of the conflict.
See the article below for instructions on how to start your computer in a clean boot state.
How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

Note: When the diagnosis is complete, don't forget to reset your computer to normal startup. Follow step 7 in the above article.

When I have a parameter not valid, the I often resolve when the database does not open is to simply create a pfile the spfile file:

    sqlplus

    Connect / as sysdba

    create pfile='/home/oracle/pfile.txt 'to spfile='/u01/app/oracle/product/12.1.0.2/dbs/spfileorcl.ora ';

Then use a text editor to fix the value of the parameter. When done, save the changes. Then create spfile from pfile this and you should be able to start the instance.

    create spfile='/u01/app/oracle/product/12.1.0.2/dbs/spfileorcl.ora 'to pfile='/home/oracle/pfile.txt ';

    startup

  • Possible strategies to restore a single tablespace of the instance A B

    Hi all

    Then...: Win 7 64 bit
    ... DB: Oracle 11.2.0.3 EE 64-bit

In my notebook, I have 2 instances (orateste and ora11). They are all intended to test. I don't know what happened, but a problem in a partition of my SO did the unavailable Oracle software. I can't start the instance orateste. Even the windows service that is associated with the instance have disappeared from services.msc. What I want to do is to restore only a tablespace for instance orateste to ora11. I have a full D - 1 rman backup. What are the possible solutions?

    (1) to restore the entire database (orateste - 11.2.0.1) ora11 (11.2.0.3)?

    (2) is there a way to restore only a tablespace between instances and versions?

    Thanks in advance.

    Reinstall the software
    (1) how to create a windows service? Prompt caommand

If it helps, and take an export of all objects in this table space and import into another database, you can start your old database.

    OR

Restore the full database using RMAN somwwhere else and that the export of take it from all objects in this tablespace and import them into another database.

  • Start the server using OPMN Essbase.

    Hello

We plan to launch Essbase server using OPMN.

    Version: 11.1.2.1

Currently, we use this line of code below in our command script to start Essbase server, but we wanted to start the Essbase.

    $ARBORPATH/bin/startEssbase.sh b

I have gone through the document and came to know that I need to use the commnad below to start the Essbase server by using the command below.

    opmnctl startproc ias-component is EssbaseInstanceName.

My question is, can I keep the same line of code in my existing batch script to start the Essbase Server?

Someone at - it one called this (ias = EssbaseInstanceName opmnctl startproc component) line of code in the start menu to the top/batch scripts? As we implement first.

Please share your thoughts and your sugguestions. your help is very appreciated.

    Thank you
    Ganesh.

The startEssbase.sh script will start to OPMN and start the instance of essbase via OPMN

    opmnctl startproc ias-component = EssbaseInstanceName

essbase using OPMN will start if OPMN is already running.

    See you soon

  • The TNS service name gives preference to connect the instance that is in a mount

    OS: HPUX
    Oracle version: 11.1.0.7

Why TNS service name give preference to connect the instance that is in a mode of installation and the dsiaply ' ORA-01033' as mentioned below.»
I wanted to connect the single instance that are OPEN (no EDITING) using connection string and want to know the status of all instances using SQL query "select instance_name, status of gv$ instance. How can I achieve this?

I have four-node rac and instance cluster four, one instance on each node and the State of the instances are as shown below

    SQL > select instance_name, status of gv$ instance;

    STATUS INSTANCE_NAME
    ---------------- ------------
    dtrac1 OPEN
    Dtrac4 ROAD
    dtrac3 OPEN
    dtrac2 FORCE

I tried to connect using the name of the service "dtrac" (the tnsnames Details give below) any node, it gives priority to the instance that is set up and shows the sequence of error messages

    SQL > conn system/vcs@dtrac
    ERROR:
ORA-01033: ORACLE initialization or shutdown in the process ID: ID of Session 0: serial number 834: 139

WARNING: You are more connected to ORACLE.
    SQL > conn system/vcs@dtrac
    ERROR:
ORA-01033: ORACLE initialization or shutdown in the process ID: ID of Session 0: serial number 834: 139

    SQL > conn system/vcs@dtrac
    ERROR:
ORA-01033: ORACLE initialization or shutdown in the process ID: ID of Session 0: serial number 834: 139
    SQL >

When I change dtrac2 instance in NOMOUNT or OPEN State, then connection correctly goes to instances that are open.

Too bad, I was hoping that it would work with srvctl

As you say a different way of configuring the service by referring to the favorite and attributes available for instances, but its not useful to know the instances that are open. Its helpful to separate the work to specific nodes by creating different services for different applications.

Certainly, it only would be logical if you know in advance that you want to start an instance in editing mode and you want to bypass the connection failure. But when you know you're going to just mount a database he used to try to find later.

I searched a bit on metalink and found notes 69546.1 which States that PMON will record with listeners the and remote start the instance, same no editing is required. Which is obviously stupid because of the error message you get when you try to connect.

797713.1 note describes your exact problem and a solution. I'd love to quote, but I'm not sure if this is allowed or not. So instead I'll summarize what I learned: the default service that you create during the installation of first CARS behave as in one instance. As soon as the instance starts, it will register with the other. This is actually intended for you can perform administration. When you create additional services via srvctl or crs, they will somehow managed by crs and only you sign up once the instance is 'up' (I guess they mean open).
So the solution would be to create another service through srvctl and use it for your connections.

  • This error: failed to start the Server Instance because the integrated Weblogic domain has not been built successfully.

    Hi Experts,

    JDeveloper 11.1.1.4.0 version, Windows 7.

I installed jdeveloper 11g Studio Edition Version 11.1.1.4.0.

«I'm trying to start the integrated by weblogic server: start run instancei Server weblogic the next ERREURLa get, Server Instance may not start because the integrated Weblogic domain was built not log successfully.the as a result of info"D:\Oracle\Middleware\oracle_common\common\bin\wlst.cmd ' C:\Users\aroy\AppData\Roaming\JDeveloper\system11.1.1.4.0\o.j2ee.adrs\CreateDefaultDomain.py «»

I tried searching but could not solve this problem.

Reinstalled Jdeveloper, formatted my system did not work. Different version of JDeveloper also gives the same error in my system.

One thing when I go to the folder structure, I can see the default domain contains only the config folder. The rest are missing.

Also, I have all the rights of administrator on all folders/subfolders. I can create a separate domain and run the weblogic. But I can't start the new instance of JDeveloper. I get the same error.

    Thank you

    Roy.

Also, what OS you are using?  I had a similar problem under win8
