  All my projects are starting about 5 min. on the timeline. Is it possible to make this start time shows in the timecode in zero display until the timecode shows the elapsed time of the project rather than the length of the line. My clients watch the blueray and give their notes using the bluray counter, it would be nice if I had a screen which was the same as theirs. I could use burned to tc, but that means make the whole 80 minutes. I could move the project from scratch, but that would spoil the audio automation.

  I am trying to decide whether to use the parameter Raster or vector in the States of the object when the majority of the screen is a picture (with a modest but important legend for children to read). The legend certainly makes it look more net as vector. But does the photo! The raster setting seems to make the lower-res images in comparison. In my first edition of my application, I thought that raster would be the best setting when the photo was the subject dominating the page. Does slow down load time/refreshment in frame, which is a little less. I also found that the drop shadows really bad that redraws effect in vector, almost vibrating in a slide show, for example. Thus, in cases where I need shadows, I'm sticking with Raster.

  The frame for you size source of material is HDTV 1080i (16:9). That only sets the size of the image, not the domination of the field, it's what makes progressive or interlaced. The reason it's labels with the 'i' is that when FCP7 was abandoned by Apple, they have never updated the software in order to take account of 1080 p contents.

  To make your progressive sequence, set the dominant field to None.

  It seems it would be an easy thing to understand, but I'm deleting so far:

  I have a video of the source of long, 10 minutes (actually a series of film clips 16mm which were telecined to a single uncompressed .mov 10-bit with continuous timecode by a film laboratory) on my project timeline.  I need to be able to export a small section of the timeline for individual .mov files - and I need to be able to open the short .mov files in a logging of film application called F5.  Currently, I'm making these videos in H.264 .mov files, since it is a format that F5 can read.  Rendering/export selection "work area" of my project works very well, so it's no problem.

  The problem I have is that timecode of the resultant .mov H.264 files do not match the time code on the timeline of the project of my first - they always start at 00:00:00:00.  I don't want that.  If I made (for example) a section of 00:05:10:00 to 00:07:00:00 on my project timeline, I need time to start exported .mov file code 00:05:10:00 and the 00:07:00:00, does not restart at 00:00:00:00.  Is this possible?

  I'm in first Pro CS6.0.2 on a Mac OSX 10.8.2, all installed updates.

  works by using "title" (cause its alpha) but does not work using the video black... I have to jump through hoops to do it this way... is nuts... so title works fast

  so you put cti where you want to start, updated title to the top he put above your video, timecode in, "generate", set the start time to slide the title at the end of your work for the export bar... and it should be good...

  You can not add logic in layouts automatically fill the time based on the clock. You will have to depend on a custom process to do.

  Less than entry delay is also day, not week. Look at the configuration of your test employee preferences.

  I currently have cable internet connected to a router (Linksys E2000 w / v1.0.03 firmware). This router is connected to another router, a Linksys E3200 with firmware v1.0.02. In order to correctly forward ports through the E3200, I understand that I need to set up a static IP address on the router.

  I almost followed the steps in this video, but when I enter all the IP addresses for the static IP address settings, it allows me to access the router configuration page. I try to get the new IP address that I gave (which he tries to move automatically once I have save settings) and the connection times out. I am able to access internet otherwise, however. From here, I have to do a factory reset on the router and start from square one.

  Anyone have any ideas? I'm quite frustrated and would like to get ports forwarded so I can get my server properly set in place.

  Note: must have green check mark on that Microphone icon. Is no green check mark, this means that it is disabled. If there is no green mark on micro it never works.   b. move the slider up to 100% of its range.
