  I have a HP Pavilion g4-1125DX with Windows 7. A few days ago while I was downloading the files that it hung. I was able to move the cursor, but could not close the browser window, nor could I stop him.   Start diagnostics is buit to check if there is hardware with computer problems.  He has failed the test of memory which means that one of the memory on the computer module has failed and must be replaced.

  A week ago, I posted the message that - at the start - I get a blue screen and the diagnostic utility says that start DST short Test failed...

• Acid3 Test Fail.

  Why I get 97/100 on acid3 test on firefox and the message in the left corner, 'you should not see this at all' and when I want to copy this text to mark it says FAILED. Settings are default and I use 17.0.1 latest firefox, I tried to disable the plugins and extensions same results

  I went to FF safe mode and start test again once and now it completes to 100/100 but in this corner was still this text "You should not see this at all" and that the FAILURE message when I select this text. I take screenshots so that you can see.

  I discovered that Greasemonkey 1.5 (latest version) is initially tested have a score of 97/100 when I disable him test is 100/100 but who do NOT have the message.

  The error message that you receive indicate that your laptop is trying to start the connection to the LAN rather than from his own hard drive or a CD-ROM.   Windows xp no my pc compaq v6000 not starting and bluescreen showed a couple of times. I ran the BIOS (phoenix) disk hard diagnosis and the test failed. When I opened my HDD I noticed green rust as deposits into the connector on the hard drive. After cleaning with a brush, computer loaded XP successfully. But an hour later, while I was surfing in mozilla suddenly the mouse pointer started late and showed computer blue screen saying that windows has been closed down to prevent damage.

  I would be grateful if someone can tell me if it's a software problem or hard drive error. If I need to replace my hard drive, what are my options, for example. rpm, capacity, provider? Thank you.

  The only way you could have rusted copper into the connector on the hard drive is if liquid got in there so I am reluctant to try to speculate how much damage has been done. I remove the hard drive and connect it to the outside to another computer and run chkdsk on it to see if the drive itself is bad. As long as there is a problem on the part of connector and the interface with the motherboard cannot really trust the onboard hard drive Diagnostics. You could also get an own another new hard drive adapter.
