  Hey guys/girls,

  New to the forum - need some tech support.  I have a HP ENVY3D 1191-NR running Windows 7.  He recently began closing before you start completely.  I ran a Test at startup and for the following results:

  Memory test: FAILED

  FAILURE ID: QE40XL-5GE6G4-XD0141-400103

  PRODUCT ID: YL748UA #ABA

  Memory module

  Starting test: FAILED

  I wonder if that means the RAM of the computer has gone wrong and I need to replace, or else... ?

  Yes, that could indicate a possible memory module failure.

  What I would do is unplug the PC and remove the battery.

  If the laptop has two memory modules, remove one of them and plug the power adapter.

  See if the PC starts and works normally.

  If so, unplug the adapter, remove the other memory module, put in the first one you took, connect the a/c adapter and see what's the result.

  If the PC does not start, you have isolated the bad chip and you can just buy a new one with the same characteristics.

  If the PC is still under warranty, contact HP for a replacement.

  ICH nutze die CC und habe aber nicht alles runergeladen. ICH habe ein Abo und nun shows er mir PS, InDesign Arcobat PRo und mit dem 'Start Test' button a!

  Wie kann ich dieses problem beseitigen.

  Before had ich das schon problem mit meinen implementierten NIK filter in PS, da war die dann, alles zu löschen, alle Dateien und further instruction. DAS ich gemacht habe. Und seit dem includes problem nun auch das mit PS

  Zur Neuinstallation der NIK Filder bin ich noch nicht Australia. ICH denke auch nicht, dass das nun geht ;-)

  Was muss ich tun, damit die Cloud weiss, dass ich zahlender Kunde bin already?

• Starting test failed

  I have a HP Pavilion g4-1125DX with Windows 7. A few days ago while I was downloading the files that it hung. I was able to move the cursor, but could not close the browser window, nor could I stop him. I push the power button down for a few seconds for a hard stop, when I tried to connect the system to the top it wouldn't boot Windows. He gave me several options to save and I tried to perform a restore of Windows, which did not work, tried to start it in safe mode and still have the same error, I gave up trying to save my files that I have most of them supported anyway if I tried to perform a full recovery of the system to the factory settings. He went through the process of recovery worldwide and says that it is successful. When I tried to reboot after recovery, he hung up on the trunk again. He didn't try to make me the same recovery menu. He just hung. I tried another hard stop and restart to get to the HP Advanced System Diagnostics and tried the start-up Test and he FAILED.

  He gave me the FAILURE ID: M4H27W-5NR5SC-MFPV5G-60UQ03.  I don't know what to do with this information. I need help. I just want to get this thing back operational.

  An error 303 is a failure of the short drive self-test and definetely suggested that tough is a failure.

  Just had this problem with my HP povillian G6 A5M45EA #ABU whenever I turn it on it starts to load windows 7 64 bit, but then just stops with the blue rear windows to the ground screen. If I tell it to load recovery then it flashes a blue screen with the STOP of the VOLUME UNMOUNTABLE_ BOOT_ error code: oxooooooed.

  I can not get the HP system to load up or start in safe mode, I tried several times, but managed to run the test that was able to give me this start code GLIP8M-5SG6NP-MFPV4K-60VD03 fault has ANYONE GOT ANY IDEAS WHAT this CODE MEANS?

  305 error code is a failure of the complete (Full) disk Self Test (DST) and would confirm that hard is defective and must be replaced.  This is also consistent with the initial startup problem.

• My HP dv6t starting test failed. I can't start windows 7 USB/dvd-drive
