Now, I tried doubleclicking an old file. InDesign automatically tried to restore the file (it seems), but again without success (I've kept it running for more than an hour). So I can't even use Indesign.

  The file I was working on is a 800 page book, with a lot of exceptional items. I worked on it for 6 days now (and should deliver a part of it next Friday), so I'm not very happy at the moment. I just saved the previous version of the file with a different name, so I hope that one is not corrupted.

  So, my questions are:

  -Can I register the latest version?

  If the file still exists more than 0 bytes, create a copy somewhere.

  then on the copy:

  1. Change the extension of the .fla in .rar.
  2. Open it by using the WinRAR application.
  3. WinRAR get a warning indicating that you tried to open damaged archives, you can ignore the warning.
  4. Go to Tools->repair Archive. In this way, the archives and therefore, the FLA is repaired.
  5. Change the .flaextension.

  p.s., update your flash cs6, help > update

  p.p.s. make it a habit to save your work regularly using filenames with sequential access.  I like to use projectwhatever_01.fla, projectwhatever_02.fla etc.

  I am writing an Air application that creates and writes a HTML page in the user's hard drive.  If the file already exists, it must be replaced.

  I was wondering if there is a way via AS3 to stop the prompt that ask if users want the overwritten file and just do automatically each time?

  If you just open a file and write it AIR can't invite you - there is nothing to ask.

  The reason why you get the prompt is that you call ahead. There is no need for this, unless you want the user to choose the location/name of the file.

  For example the following will create a text file on the desktop without intervention whatsoever:

• How can I force image update sequences?

  I use first composite various sequences of images in one program 3D, Blender.  Several times I export a preliminary version of Blender, import the sequence to first place in the time line, so I find I want to make some changes in a blender and make a new made some executives.  Images that I have made a new, first update only some of them.

  I did a test where I got a new made a section with a different background color to the scene.  In the first three first executives set to date, then the fourth was the old image, 5th and 6th are new, 7th was old, 8th and 9th were new, and so forth.  He did for any updated image sequence, using a combination of old and new frameworks.

  I did the above test three times.  The first time I saw mixed frames, the second time that all imported fine, the third time I got the mixed frames again.

  If I restart the first, then it goes through the screen 'media pending' for all my media and then shows the correct update management, but it would be embarrassing to have to restart the creation each time I want to see my new frameworks.

  I use first Pro CS5.0.3, on a 2.66 Ghz Quad-Core Mac Pro with 8 GB of RAM.  The files are located on an eSATA RAID 5 array.

  Is there a way I can force the first to update the frames in image sequences?

  Does anyone else have these problems?  What do you do when dealing with many sequences of images that you frequently update?

  Three choices.
  1. do not leave the first opened during rendering in another
  request (it's what I do).
  Overwritten files will update when you first.

  2. right click your picture in the project window sequence,
  Select "make Offline... > Media files remain on the disk > OK.»
  Then, right-click in your sequence of image in the project window,
  Select "Media link...".

  3. close and reopen your project without leaving the first.
  File > close (Ctrl > W), then re - open the same project.

  21 FF doesn't seem to be reading or the application my file on the user prefs.js file user.js. I have installed 21 FF, entered: config, brought changes that I wanted to so they would appear in the prefs.js file. Then I saved the file as user.js and removed all the parameters that I care not. Then I reset my machine virtual, installed new FF 21 and saved the file in C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox\defaults\profile. When I started 21 FF it did not apply the settings and have behaved as if there is no user.js file. Here's a copy of my user.js file:

  This same exact file works fine with FF 20.0.1. I also tried this file with 21 FF with the comments at the beginning of the deleted file.
