Stop error in Windows 7 Professional

Hello MS supports,

My laptop gives me error Stop and starts Memory Dump out on the screen of the BIOS to restart the computer. At that time (before the Stop error occurs), my laptop is getting very hot near the evacuation zone. Yes, I had repair 2 months back that is clean the ventilation openings, keyboard etc. This happens usually if I watch a movie on any browser or any video player (if am online or offline). It would also happen if I play a game with good graphics. If I run any program that consumes a lot of memory, my laptop stops with a blue error screen Stop. The configuration of my H/W laptop is:

Intel Corei3 processor
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5145 512 MB / 1 GB memory card

2 GB OF RAM

HARD DRIVE 320 GB

I get the following error

I'll be very grateful if someone could help me understand why what is happening. Thank you.

Sudhir Santos

Hi Sudhir,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community. From your description, it seems that the STOP errors are during the opening of related graphics applications. It might be difficult when things don't work the way it should be on your computer.

Try to use the laptop under a fan and make sure that the laptop is more air into the fan then check you get the blue screen.

Also check the BIOS settings. Sometimes updates BIOS implement revised, temperature settings that can help you to optimize the cooling. Visit the Web site of the manufacturer of your laptop for a BIOS update.

Warning in the BIOS: BIOS change / semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

In addition, in each of the accidents the process that crashed was the avp.exe.

AVP.exe is a process of Kasperksy.

You seem to have an older version of installed Kasperksy then try uninstall Kasperksy and see if the errors to solve.

Subsequently, you can reinstall using the latest version of Kaspersky or consider the alternative security such as Microsoft Security Essentials software.

You can create a bootable XP Recovery CD of Console and replace the file, but it may be easier for you to make boot CD of a Hren.

When you start the Hiren's CD, choose the XP Mode of Mini and it has an interface in XP style Explorer where you can find and replace the winlogon.exe suspicious or missing file.

There should be a copy of winlogon.exe here:

    c:\Windows\System32\dllcache

Rename your current c:\windows\system32\winlogon.exe file (if it exists) and copy / paste the replacement of c:\windows\system32\dllcache.  If you do not see here, search your HARD drive and find one.  Another possibility (depending on your environment) is c:\windows\ServicePackFiles\i386, or c:\i386 d:\i386...

You just need to replace the file winlogon.exe somehow.

When you are finished replacing, restart as usual (remove the CD bootable of course).

With the help of Hiren, you can also copy offshore on an external device (USB key or HARD drive), all personal security files.

Do you have a Hiren BootCD you can download here:

    http://www.hirensbootcd.NET/

On the left, click on download, scroll down, choose the latest version, the download link is a little hard to see.  It is at the bottom of the page, above the drop for older versions and looks like this (click this component to download the ZIP file):

Direct HTTP mirror + Torrent, Torrent Magnet

Click the "Live HTTP Mirror" link to start the download and save the ZIP file on your desktop of somewhere that you can remember.

The ZIP file is large, so the download will take probably some time to complete.  Then unzip the download to extract the Hirens.BootCD.ISO file that will be used to create your new bootable CD.

Create a bootable CD. ISO file is not the same as simply copying the. File ISO onto a blank CD.  You must use software that includes how to burn a. ISO to a CD to create a bootable CD.

File ZIP the Hiren is the file BurnToCD.cmd that you can double-click to launch it.  The BurnToCD.cmd will use the file BurnCDCC.exe to burn the. ISO file onto a blank CD using your existing CD burner.  You can also use your own burning software as long as your software is able to create a bootable CD. ISO file.  More modern burning programs can create a bootable CD. ISO image.  Create a CD from an ISO image bootable is not the same as just the file on a CD burning.

If you need a simple and CD burning, this is a free software popular software:

    http://www.ImgBurn.com/

Here are some instructions for ImgBurn:

    http://Forum.ImgBurn.com/index.php?showtopic=61

It would be a good idea to test your new bootable CD on a computer running.

You may need to adjust the computer BIOS settings to use the CD-ROM drive as the first device to boot instead of the hard drive.

These adjustments are made before Windows tries to load.  If you miss it, you will need to restart the system again.

When starting on the Hiren's CD, you will see a menu of options.  Choose Mini XP.  It will appear while Windows is loading and you will be presented with a desktop computer that has the look and feel of the interface of Windows Explorer, you are already accustomed to using.

Using the Mini XP, you can access Internet, maneuvering around your system, search for files, copy files, replace the files and run the scans for malware, edit the text files (like the c:\boot.ini) etc.

There are dozens of free and useful tools included in the CD that can be used to repair your system or copy your important personal files on another device (like a USB device or an external drive) in the case where you just give up and decide to reinstall your XP (I hope that you will not make this decision).

Do, or do not. There is no test.

I need YOUR voice and the points for helpful answers and propose responses. I'm saving for a pony!

  • error c00000021A on my windows XP Professional after you install spyware and computer back reset

I reinstalled windows XP Professional ON MY DELL gx270s, I formatted the hard disk, installed the drivers from dell four with him, but after I installed my avast spyware on it and the computer comes back from.  I get the code on a blue screen "COOOO21A ERROR". Could you help me with this

I would say that Avast has quarantined (effectively deleted) some system files important XP (he is known for this).

I have a few dozen c000021a errors in my notes, you must provide the exact error message that you see.  Note that these are zeros, not OHS.  I have a curious why would you only provide part of the message see you and wait to help us?

If yous system isn't bootm, the response from the Microsoft support engineer doesn't help.  Even if your system does not start, it would be still useless.  It is however the first article of KB Microsoft coming in a Bing search engine, but that's not good.  Don't waste your time on these responses.

Here is an example, and we need something like that on your part:

    STOP: c000021a {fatal system error}
    The Windows logon process ended unexpectedly with the status of 0xc0000034 (0 x 0000000 0000000 x 0).
The system has been shut down.

Then, you will need to answer these questions to the best you can:

What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?

Your system have IDE or SATA disks?

The afflicted system has a working CD/DVD (internal or external) drive?

You have a true bootable XP installation CD (it is not the same as any recovery CD provided with your system)?

    Hello

Windows 7 Professional installed has been suspended or freezing occasionally in recent weeks and would appreciate advice on how to solve this problem.

Some additional details about my situation:

    • I've been using experienced PC (a HPw1907v with windows 7 Professional installed) for the last few months, but only the problem hanging or freezing in 3/4 weeks.
    • It doesn't seem to be common to the freezing episodes factors - sometimes I run a certain program - sometimes nothing at all.
    • When the PC crashes, I can not access the keyboard (Ctrl/alt/delete etc.) but audio will focus on the race.
    • The only way to get the PC going again is to pass the thing and the new (I know that's not good for the PC) and when the closing error screen appears it is often frozen (other than the countdown to numbers).
    • Sometimes I have to manually restart 2 or 3 times before Windows starts up again (in other words, it will restart but always show a frozen mouse).
    • I tried to install a Microsoft performance fix run and he seems to think there is a problem with programs running at startup-, but being not very PC to read and write, I'm not sure what programs to stop execution etc.
    • I already looked at several forum posts ""freezes"windows 7", but none of the other users problems exactly matches my problem.

  • Keyboard and USB mouse stop working correctly with Windows 7 Professional x 64

I originally had Windows Vista x 64 on my computer (he's 8 months old, CPU intel quad core 2.0 ghz, 6 GB of ram etc.). I installed Windows 7 RC in July (new installation) and used until 2 weeks ago when I installed Windows 7 Professional edition (I reinstalled Vista and then installed the upgrade to Windows 7 by using the clean installation).

In recent days, I had problems with the mouse and keyboard (the two connected USB). Entries to start acting strangely. For example, using scroll in firefox causes the font sizes change in firefox, instead of scrolling and clicking on links opens the link in a new window, not in the same window. Right click stops running. The keyboard input will simultaneously strange - I can type is no longer (for example in firefox search boxes, or WMP), of if I type, it uses another command to open something, etc. I don't understand what is happening! However, after the reboot, the problem disappears and everything works fine, until the next time it happens (has happened 3 x now). I tried my mouse and keyboard in my old laptop and they both seem to work well. I have not received any pilot error / virus messages / dysfunction (Bitdefender 2010) messages of any kind, and as far as I know, all the drivers are up to date.
Anyone know what is happening? Is there something wrong with my motherboard? And if so, why are there no error message? And why things work again after the reboot? Help, please!

     5. in the maintenance of function, select database engine and then click Next.

Current solution: download IE8 for XP, run who, follow the Setup Wizard, wait for his failure. Download manually upgrade restart, recommended.

Restart the installation of IE8, wait that he remove previous IE. Reset.

Installation of IE8 restart to restart. Let it run. May need to restart.

Try to run windows update again. IF it works, woot, otherwise download the SP3 of XP service pack from Microsoft. As the Windows update fails, you must not download an installer, but an ISO standard. Burn the ISO to a CD and install (way to go...) or download a free tool like 7Zip and unpack iso and install a go from there.

From there on, the installation of SP3 and hope this works...
