  If you are unable to connect to Windows 7 or Windows Vista, you can use the Windows Vista System Restore feature, or the Windows 7 system restore feature.

  I'm not able to get home' of the screen to show through my projector VPL-HW40ES-STR-DA2800ES.

  I have:

  1. Confirmed that the entrance of projector is selected the right input (HDMI 1).  Content doesn't circulate in the receiver and displayed on the screen.
  2. You press "AMP" on the controller and I see the "AMP" and "rm put in place" to turn on when I press the 'Home' button
  3. Button of remote control and 'Home' on the remote control work.   By pressing the 'Home' key turns on the receiver.
  4. Tried to hold the "Home" button for 2-3 minutes.

  I am looking for a solution that would not require me to do a factory reset.  I got a home theater company do the installation and do not want to have them come and reconfigure.

  Welcome to Apple Support communities.  I'm glad you brought your question to be able to respond to messages directly from the lock screen, it is a feature I use all the time and I know it's convenient not having fully unlock and go to the app to respond quickly to a text.

  Let's check some settings to make sure that we have everything set up correctly for you to be able to respond to messages from the lock screen.

  The application of settings:

  1. Touch ID & password (enter your access code)
  2. Scroll down to ALLOW ACCESS when it is LOCKED
  3. Don't forget that respond with Message is enabled and set to green

  It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, try to reverse what you did.

  Looks like you have updated to the point where the locking function changed. In older versions, you had an icon on the screen. In the latest versions, you use the power on top of the BB button do a keyboard lock. To get the icon back, you must activate a device password... then you will have an icon for Active password lock. How it works now, and the only way to change this is go back to a previous version, when the change was made.

  The double-click feature applies from the lock screen, not the home screen.

  To check that it is always enabled, go to: settings > portfolio & Apple pay > check that double click on the home page button is enabled.
