• When Outlook Express Mail compose the cursor suddenly starts moving across the page.

  When I'm composing an e-mail on Outlook Express if I stop for a moment the cursor starts to move across the page. I can stop by clicking 'End', but soon he begins to do it again.

  My OS is Windows XP and my version of OE 6. IE version is 8.

  If it is a laptop, make sure that you not brush your hand against the touchpad. If it isn't, try a new identity.

  You may have a damaged identity especially if it's the default main identity. File | Identities | Add the new identity. Create a new one and try it. If all goes well, you can import your messages and address book from the old identity and delete it.

  Note: Do not use the main word in the name of the new identity.

• Footer extend across the page on one page

  I added a new card into my page of Contact here: http://www.localcounsellingcentre.co.uk/contact-lcc.html and now the footer does not extend across the page. As you can see on the home page and all the others, the background on the footer extends all the way through: http://www.localcounsellingcentre.co.uk/index.html

  Well, a simple control of the code source tells us she is inside the iFrame for the Google map and inherits its width.

• Color printing: the print has colored lines across the page viertical obliterate the copy.

  I have a printer Officejet Pro 8600 working with my vista 32 bit.system.   My copies of original color print color strines vertical on the page. I have cleaned the print heads and aligned. Everything prints fine other circuits. What is the problem? Is there a solution? Is - it physical hardware or software?

• HP Envy 5532 Printing green lines across the page when scanning in color

  Hi, I'm Green striped wallpaper is the best way to describe it, when I scan a document color the entire page has this striped background green and the image being analyzed. The printer is around the age of 18 months.

  I tried all the diagnostic tools that are available through the printer, nothing seems to clear it.

  Any suggestions?

  I understand that your e-all-in-one printer of 5532 Envy is scanning with green lines. I can help you with that.

  To start, make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet , not a surge protector. Once it's done remove any paper flat from the printer and turn the printer off, then on again. Finally we will try to make a copy. If the copy has lines so you have a hardware problem. If you are able to make a copy without lines so you can have a software problem.

  If you have a hardware problem

  While the printer is turned on remove the cable at the back of the printer for a minute, turn on the printer and try to make a copy.

  If the copy always has lines in it then we will make a factory reset the printer. I'll send you some pointers on how to do so shortly in a private message.

  If after the reset you still have lines in print then the printer needs to be replaced. You can contact HP support by clicking here and filling out the form below.

• Black lines across the page

  Each page that print includes a greyish black line.  How can I eliminate this line?

  Your printer would require an intervention... If you get the patches even a photocopy of his problem with the printer... You can try to clean the cartridge of the printer and see if it solves your problem else, you need to get in touch with your retailer of printer...

  Remove the cartridge and try clean and then align.

  Maybe it's that you have already followed.

  You have a different magenta toner to try to see if the toner or printer hardware problem?

  Please provide the results of the paper.

  When you print the Diagnostics page do you have a red horizontal line?

  Did you run the clean up and calibrate the printer?

  Are you using genuine HP Toners?

  What kind of paper do you use?

• Style report (several sets of columns across the page)

  I have a report of responses which displays the 'top 20' and has only 2 narrow columns (name and total). In the dashboard, it looks like a vertical strip:

  It would look much more pleasant if it was a "newspaper" style, where you have more than one column of the whole page:

  Is this possible to be done using OBI EE? I looked for a checkbox style "journal" in the properties of the report (hoping it would be that simple) but no luck... I couldn't find all the messages in this forum either, maybe I'm using the wrong terminology.

  Hi Luis,.

  Yes, it is possible using a PivotTable. Assuming you want 10 records by column, you must do the following:

  (1) adds a column to your report with this formula:
  RCOUNT (Column) - 10 * FLOOR ((RCOUNT (Column) - 1) / 10)

  (2) add another column to your report with this formula:
  Floor ((RCOUNT (Column)-1) / 10)

  (3) go to the PivotTable

  (4) add column 1) lines section

  ((5) add column 2) section columns

  (6) add the other columns in the action box

  (7) add the aggregation rule to "FIRST" for all columns in the action box

  (label measure area to 8) in the section lines under column 2 area)

• Background image stretching across the page footer area

  On a pc with a screen resolution 1280 x 1024 and smaller through IE, when scrolling to the bottom of the background scales image to force down the footer elements appear on the top of the verses of background image on the background color. The background image doesn't repeat from left to right and SHOULD NOT extend to any down. However, it's what happens on the pc. Thanks in advance for the help!
  We'RE MAC - quote at the bottom under the background image and on the bottom. It comes be represented correctly.	We'RE PC - quote at the bottom to the top of the background image - this shouldn't happen

  If you remove 'fixed', does that help? I use browser tools and I'm not at home to work directly with Muse. Maybe someone else can give an idea.

• OPA BI Publisher - can show features in this form instead of to the bottom of the page?

  I want to show a list of left right through a form rather than one after the other to the bottom of the page of the entity data.  For example, I have an entity called "Code HW", each instance of the entity has a number of different code entered by the user.

  HW Code1: P001

  Code2 HW: F007

  Code 3 HW: U112

  Code 4 HW: H104

  etc.

  I would like that they print across the page rather than down and then move to the next line and continue until all are printed.  The number of codes, that a user can enter is unknown.  For example

   

  P001	F007	U112
  H104	etc.

  Is there a way to do this?
  

  Thank you!  It worked very well - just a tweak was to be taken to make it work.  In the first column of the table I had to add the around the child_name_value at the end (see below in bold italic).

  child_name_value	child_name_value	child_name_value

  Now another question - the customer wants the values sorted in alphabetical order from left to right as they print in the table - I played a little to put a sort command in the table after and before the XML I the first column, but who doesn't have the desired effect.  Is it possible to use the sort command in the table above?

  If this isn't the case, I'll try the OPA sort t instances before sending it to BI Publisher.

  For your APEX point, you have the SOURCE = "PL/SQL function.

  The SQL code in the "Source" for this element should have a "return" statement

  The SQL you provided (I suppose has the same value as 'Source') did not have a "return" statement

  interesting note: when I didn't have a 'return' for items with "function from PL/SQL ', I got a weird error.

• How can I adjust the shapes that overlap the page?

  I'm working on a holiday brochure 270 page. I usually work with Photoshop, but I know that's not ideal for brochures, then worked along side another designer with InDesign. I picked up almost everything to get me going which is great. However, I am stuck on best practices for the bottom.

  The idea is that each page with a hotel will have the same style of background, which consists of a few circle shapes that are slightly different shades. Circles leave the edges of the page, to just form a curve across the page. Each different destination will have these forms in different colors, so that the customer wants to be able to change the colors autour once I put the brochure their.

  I work with what I have now, but it is a little ugly looking having huge circles leave the edges of the page in "Normal" mode.

  Is it possible to cut the rest of the form that is not inside the purge?

  draw a rectangle the size of the page + bleed area. Cut your background of the circle, and then paste in the rectangle. Ideally, it should be on a master page (a master page by destination).

• Design element grid to cover the page using objects circle and the Toolbox align.

  I work currently through a tutorial in which I need to cover the entire page with a grid spaced regularly small circles. The tutorial told me to copy and paste the original circle then align to left and vertical and horizontal repeat. However what I'm left with are just two rows of circles, one on the far left and the other at the top of the page.

  What is the best way to cover the entire page with these circles so that they are identical and evenly spaced across the page?

• Help with drop IE the menu that spans the page, Chrome and Firefox work perfectly.

  I've implemented a spry menu in my page.  file:///C:/users/Kim/documents/PQH_xhtml/index.html

  Everything works fine in Chrome and Firefox. But not in IE.  The only problem I have is in IE the dropdown menus stretch out all the way across the page.

  I tried to change the width, but it messes up Chrome and Firefox.  IE just need to shorten the width of submenus.

  Any help is GREATLY appreciated!

  Thank you very much!  This setting in the style rules stopped him drop-down submenus to approach across the entire screen.  I was wondering... is it possible I can get IE to have the same width as the Chrome and Firefox dropdown?  These submenus drop down wonderfully, the same size as the button on the main menu.  I was wondering.  Once again, thank you for your help.
