    Hello Sugasaff,

    Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

    I would like to ask you:

    • The problem is specific to a single application?
    • Have you tried using Internet Explorer and check if it works well?

    You can try to uninstall and reinstall Chrome and check if it works very well.

    Refer,

    Uninstall or change a program

    To download and install again, see:

    https://www.Google.com/intl/en/chrome/browser/

    Hope this information was useful.

  • Writing a preferences file

    What I'm trying to do is very simple: I want to save the user's ' preferences' (at the moment, only two values of checkbox - this is it) in 'disc' such that the next time that the user running my app, their preferences are 'remember' by the application, I write.

    import java. IO;
    Net.rim.device.api.io import. *;

    public static final void readPreferences() {}
    int checkFullAuto, checkAutoSelect;

    The preferences file still exist?
    try {}
    FileInputStream fis = new FileInputStream ("prefs.dat");
    }
    catch (FileNotFoundException e) {}
    The file doesn't exist, then create it with the default values and return.
    try {}
    FileOutputStream fos = new FileOutputStream ("prefs.dat");
    DataOutputStream back = new DataOutputStream (fos);

    Based on the default values for the two check boxes, make calls like this:
    dos.writeInt (1);
    dos.writeInt (0);

    Finish by writing to the file
    back. Flush();
    back. Close();
    return;
    }
    {} catch (IOException f)
    return;
    }
    }

    The file * is * on the phone.  Finishing-opening then read its contents.
    try {}
    DataInputStream tell = new DataInputStream (fis);

    Please = dis.readInt ();
    checkTwo = dis.readInt ();

    based on the above two values, set the values of the check boxes - code omitted to shorten
    tell. Close();
    return;
    }
    catch (IOException h) {}
    Do nothing and get out this method gracefully if failure.

    return;
    }
    }

    I get the following errors to compile 3...

    symbol: FileInputStream (java.lang.String) constructor
    location: net.rim.device.api.io.FileInputStream of the class
    FileInputStream fis = new FileInputStream ("prefs.dat");

    cannot find symbol

    FileOutputStream fos = new FileOutputStream ("prefs.dat");

    symbol: fis variable
    location: Algorithms.Algorithms of the class
    DataInputStream tell = new DataInputStream (fis);

    I use BlackBerry JDE 4.6.0.12.  In the preferences--> Code signing tab, I checked 'RIM API of execution.'

    What I am doing wrong?  If you see a better way to code this, please tell me;  I'd appreciate very much all the advice that you could give me!

    Thank you very much...

    Joe

    Two things:

    (a) it is scraping the bottom of my memory, but I think that the mechanism that you try to use ("FileConnection") is a former mechanism that has been a specific phone and type and is not generally supported.  I think you really want to use the FileConnection API - see the FileExplorer demo for more details.

    (b) there are other ways to keep the user's preferences, in general, this is done using a persistent storage.  This has the advantage that you can store objects rather than having to serialize the data inbound and outbound bytes.

  • Delete InDesign preference files?

    If I click: delete InDesign preference files, I would lose other files (documents) in InDesign?

    NO.

  • Replacement of a few pages in my PDF is strangely small file size

    Hello!

    I recently reviewed a document 400 printing pages by replacing 7 pages in the PDF file and it is the strangely smaller file size!

    The original has been exported as a PDF of a book consisting of 61 files InDesign (184 MB) file.

    The review was one more round about way-opening and export files individual InDesign 6 to the appropriate output settings and replacing 7 unique pages in the PDF file and save as a new version number (108 MB).

    The reason for the series on how to change the project is because all files are stored on a server and it is easier to make simple changes while working remotely.

    No idea what is causing the size of the file to be much smaller?

    Thank you for taking the time!

    Probably you have registered under a new name (SAVE AS) and before you used to REGISTER. Save the leaves wasted space, save as it recovers.

    Maybe if you check Photoshop on the cover page of the victory 8 and choose Run as administrator from the options bar at the bottom of the page and then do the Ctrl Alt Shift.

  • Photoshop CS5 for Mac.  Is no longer able to open the program after reinstalling on MacBook Pro.  Download the message «end of file unexpected met»  Then get "failed to initialize Photoshop because the preferences file was invalid (it has been removed)."

    Someone at - it advice on how to open Photoshop CS5 for Mac.  Is no longer able to open the program.  Just get the emblem of blue PS and the message "unable to load actions because an end of life unexpected has been met.  Could not initialize Photoshop because the preferences file was invalid (it has been deleted). "I tried to reinstall the program from the original disc.  Is this a problem with the operating system?  Thanks for any idea.

  • Double problem: no printing and no preferences file

    When I go to print from Lightroom 5.7.1, there is no image of the photo in the upper left "navigation" box. The image appears in the middle of the paper as it usually does, but when the print command is given, nothing else blank paper comes out of the printer.

    Thinking that it can be corrected with a re - install, I uninstalled and reinstalled 5.7. When it does work, I upgraded 5.7.1 and installed. Still does not solve the problem.

    So I thought to replace the preferences file might do the trick. But it is not even an Adobe folder in the folder Win 7 C:\users\[user]\roaming. Te only one folder it is the Intel.

    I did a disk clean up without a change in the result. What is happening and what can I try next? I have the stand alone, not the CC version.

    In the print Module, this isn't a "browser" in the top left corner. It simply shows what model you use. The image will not be displayed at this location. Have you been to the page layout that opens to your printer driver and make sure you have set the options of the printer correctly?

    Important information for all platforms

    • The files and the locations of files given here are default values. Some of these places can be customized in the Lightroom \Preferences or the catalog settings dialog boxes.
    • While troubleshooting, where possible, rename the files instead of remove them.
    • If possible, back up catalogs on another hard drive or a volume of the disk where your catalog is located. For more information about the backup in Lightroom, read back up a catalog with Lightroom and look at the backup catalog on Adobe TV. (The video has been produced for Lightroom 4 but still applies to Lightroom 5.)
