• Strange Desktop / Start Menu redirection problem

  Hi all I have a very strange problem on a field of 2012 server using Windows 7 desktop computers.

  When a user connects for the first time the office menu and start to not redirected and I have the following error

  You cannot apply policy and redirect the "Desktop" folder to "\\SVR\Desktops$".
  Options of redirection = 0x1000.
  The following error occurred: "unable to generate a list of known subfolders.
  Details of the error: "the system cannot find the specified file.
  ".

  However on 2nd session opening the desktop and start menu are redirected properly.

  Description:
  Applied with political success and redirected folder "Desktop" to "\\SVR\Desktops$".
  Options of redirection = 0x1000.

  This seems also only affect the recent HP Prodesk computers, we started to use.

  Desktop and startmenu redirects are configured for a group of users and permissions are the following

  Share permissions - full control everyone

  Folder permissions - UserGRP Read and Execute only

  I'm confused about how the system behaves with context menus: I have a class form that inherits from the screen, containing an ObjectList for which I have provided a makeContextMenu function.

  I expect makeContextMenu that will be called when the user clicks on the trackball on one of the items of an ObjectList, but it seems to be called when the user presses the menu button.  Confusingly, onMenu dominant in the class of the screen indicates that when the user clicks on the trackball, the instance parameter is INSTANCE_CONTEXT, and when it is INSTANCE_FROM_MENU_KEY on the menu key, so I expected makeContextMenu to be called when the ObjectList has focus.

  Am I missing something, or do I need to substitute the makeMenu of the screen to get the desired behavior (context menu only when the user clicks the track-ball, full menu when you press the menu key)?

  The location of the menu may vary according to the type of menu (menu reduced or full) and the current active theme on the BlackBerry.  The theme control where a menu will show.  The reduced menu is shown usually centered at the bottom of the screen.  The full menu appears on the top right or top left of the screen.  An application has no control on where these menus are displayed.

  Nope... it's the procedure. Both devices must be involved. I advise that they mark again each other as trusted. Then, on the BB receiver, you need to do the "Receive using BT" command and then only Initializes the sending of the transmitter unit. This is how it works. The error "Failed to find the service" is documented as happening when the exact steps are not met. Most people skip the step of "Receive using BT"... without it, nothing will happen.

  Simply choose 'onClick' in the list

  When you select an image the "onClick A" appears in the list BUT does not if you use just the text as a link. The two are the same and do the same work. DW is really say: apply the tag link "anchor" that surrounds the image. When no image is there no need to make the link will be attached to the item selected, which is the anchor tag.

  Could you give us the exact error message you are getting?  What perpheral device it tells you to install?  Is this something that comes with your Blackberry?  If you do not have the driver for it, you will need to download it from the web site of the manufacturer.  We can really help you if we don't know what the device is, what is the error exact messaqe or made by the unit.

• Strange cursor on menu items
