Strange worker has no reasons when applying the patch 17529626

Dear all,

I am applying the patch 17529626 on platform EBS R12.1 Linux X 86-64. So I am facing the following problems:

1:

An error occurred during re-Association of the application programs.

Continue as if it was successful [No.]: Yes

I answer 'Yes' to continue such patch recommended in some other discussions of Oracle.

2: after spending the step that precedes the adpatch blocks in the following lines:

IMPOSSIBLE: folder ap_holds_all.xdf worker 1.

IMPOSSIBLE: folder zx_import_tax_lines_gt.xdf worker 2.

ATTENTION: Fix the worker failed above the Manager to continue.

I checked the logs of the worker, and I got the following:

1:

  • How to apply the Patch

    Dear friends,

My current database is 10.2.0.1.0. I checked my setting compatible file init.

I would ask my patch to upgrade to 10.4.

Its a file exe and when I run I don't know if I should install it in the same folder and the same House. I tried different location House and different but it says that it must be in the current House.

Otherwise, it shows errors awt.dll is not available, written by another process. I did stop my database and stop all the necessary services.

I also tried to use the same location but different host.

Please guide me on how to go about it.

I'm working on Windows Server 2003, Enterprise Edition.

    Thank you.

Yes. In fact, the section that you pasted said to do exactly this.

You must install it in an existing base of Oracle 10 g Oracle home.

The reason for which you found the file misuse is probably because you have some software running that uses binary files in the Oracle home. This could be a database, customer, no matter what.

If you really believe that you have everything off then the next action plan, I would recommend would be to put Windows Services to manual and reboot the server. So try and apply the patch. I've seen this behavior before in a Windows environment.

    1. not a correct way to apply the patch

    2. you must stop your database - instance. Since patch applies it would execute a re-release of links (as the binaries are access it would apply)

Look in your current patch its not needed

Skip [7 December 2015 02:07:01] patch 19504744 list of patches to apply: this patch is not necessary. (if you can't find the question)

The manufacturer has replaced the HD on my computer laptop 64 bit Windows 7.  Update Windows shows about 100 updates important to apply.  I can't find patches that I had previously applied in the list of applied hotfixes or patches to apply list.  I don't understand why this is.  How would you recommend I do.  I'm afraid to apply the patches to 100 at a time.  Those who would be safer to start with?

    Thank you

    Hello

I suggest you only begin to install the important updates (recommended) first and later if you want you can install optional updates. All Windows update are safe to install and it is important to install the update and recommended by Microsoft. It keeps your computer safer and your software current to date and if you want Windows to install important updates as they become available, turn on automatic updating. Important updates provide significant benefits, such as improved security and reliability. You can also set Windows to automatically install recommended updates, which can address non-critical problems and help enhance your computing experience. Optional updates are not downloaded or installed automatically.

For more information, take a look at the following link:

    2 - this patch has 2 patches (18277436/Yes & 18277436 / his). I opened me read file and I found that I have to use 18277436 / her for 11.1.2.4.0.So JDev, I'll use the patch 18277436 / his

  • apply the patches of several products

    Hi gurus.

I have an SR open the framework of this call, but its been almost 2 weeks and several calls of "escaclation" and still nothing from them...

I must apply a number of patches in a range of products. Some of these products are 'shared', as in they need to be patched because they are dependencies on other installed products "full."

What is the best way to apply these in the shortest amount of time?

I'd like to just their bundle all in a merger and press the apply... but I'm afraid that this is going to work.

They I think about it is to run each corrective product group in separately... This will take a long time as I have about 8 different prodcuts to patch for.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

    DA.

    11.5.10.2

    11.2.03

    ANY 5.5

Thanks for that - do happen to know if merge fails in the merge process tries to merge a patch that updates the announcement / DNF top? If so, then fine

-I don't want to just fall to half way through the application of patches.

So you should know at this time and before applying the patch merged, it will fail in the fusion process.

Also, if I use the merge, options usable with adpatch follows? options adpatch = nocompiledb, nomaintainmrc

Yes you can, a merged patch is like any other patch that can be applied using adpatch - AD Options from command line for the version R12 (Doc ID 1078973.1)

    Thank you

    -Source of the environment file
    -cd/u04/patches of $
    -Type "unzip .zip '.
    -cd
    -Type "adpatch.
"- When it asks you to enter the hotfix driver, type ' u.drv.

Apply the patch on the database layer first and then on the application tier.

Don't forget to "Activate the Maintenance Mode" of adadmin before applying the patch. Once you apply the patch successfully, "Disable Maintenance Mode" of adadmin.

How to apply the EBS 12i pathces in Linux and Windows
Re: How to apply EBS 12i pathces in Linux and Windows

  • Apply the patches to ACS 5.1

    Hi all

I hope someone can help with this problem.

I have an ACS 5.1 with the next load of S/W

Deploying applications engine Cisco OS version: 1.2
    ADE-OS Build Version: 1.2.0.146
    ADE-OS System Architecture: i386

    Cisco ACS VERSION INFORMATION
    -----------------------------
    Version: 5.1.0.44
The identifier for the internal version: B.2347

I downloaded 5-1-0-44 - 3.tar.gpg, 5-1-0-44 - 4.tar.gpg and 5-1-0-44 - 5.tar.gpg to a local directory on GBA, but every time I try to run the upgrade patch GBA fix install 5-1-0-44 - 5.tar.gpg repository_name repository get following error output...

chmod: cannot access at the "* .sh ': no such file or directory".
    Patch not valid 5-1-0-44-5.tar.gpg'-missing install.sh
% Error: failed to open / validate the patch

I have moved the 5-1-0-44 - 5.tar.gpg to a linux machine and tried to dencrypt the file using gpg d 5-1-0-44 - 5.tar.gpg but it invites then pass phrase, I tried a few guesses, but I couldn't decipher.

So what part of the upgrade process I am missing, or do I have to install some kind of password so that the ACS can properly decrypt files to fix.

I tried this with the patch 3, 4 and 5.  I need to start pathch 1?

    Thank you

    Cefyn Arch

    Helloz,

Form where you downloaded the patch. I suggest you download from cisco.comif you download before.

    http://Tools.Cisco.com/Squish/1D47B

No, you can directly apply the patch 5.
Correct the command that you run to apply the patch.
I wish allows you to check a few things

1 are you using TFTP? If so, then switch to FTP and try again.
    2. prior to apply the hotfix, make sure that you can see the file in the repository.

    Show repository

If you can see patch 5 under the repository then you're good to go.

  • How to apply the patch to power supply in an environment of dataguard

I need to apply a patch of power supply in an environment of dataguard. I would like to know the sequence of steps I must follow.

Can someone please help me on this? DB version is 11.2.0.4 and I need to apply 11.2.0.4.3 PSU.

In order to apply the fix, you must first carefully read the "Readme" of the patch for instructions.

To give an overview of the sequence of steps to follow to apply a patch in environment dataguard, here it is:

1 reporter on the primary to the standby log shipping.

2 cancel the MRP on the standby database.

    3. apply the patch of power supply on the standby server. -See the Readme for instructions.

    4. ensure that the standby db is mounted and the earpiece is in place on the standby server.

    5. do not run any script correction on the standby database.

    6. apply the patch of power supply on the principal server.

    7. make sure that your primary database and the listener on the primary server is running.

8 turn on the primary to the standby log shipping.

9 start the MRP on the standby database.

    10. run the script of correction (catbundle.sql) on the primary database and monitor the progress of the eve of the resumption.

  • lyingWhen application of a fix via ADOPTION, he failed with the AutoPatch error: you must be in Maintenance Mode to apply the patches.

Everything by applying the patch Patch 18345006 as explained in Doc 1981206.1 , in the phase to apply it, I get the error

    AutoPatch error:

You must be in Maintenance Mode to apply the patches.

You can use the AD Administration utility to set the Maintenance Mode.

I'm on Oracle EBS 12.2.4, Windows 2008 R2 x 64, 2 appl_tops not shared and the error occurs on the primart node.

    How I applied the patch

    source, run fs

adoption phase = apply patches = 18345006 = no allnodes

The issue was that my tns ifile was entered incorrectly for _PATCH entered tns. After having corrected the phase to APPLY fine.

Apparently, the maintenance mode error is just a smoke screen
