  ACS v4.1.1.23 patch 5 is available then go for this new patch.

  You should have a pc that can access the ACS through the web interface. Keep the file of fix on the PC.

  Follow the steps below on the PC:

  [1] extract zipped file

  [2] get? Autorun.exe? file and double-click it

  [3] it will start a server tomcat on your desk and you? 'll see a web page asking ACS

  IP SE:

  Provide the IP ACS SE and the press? Install?

  [4] he will ask for ACS admin username and password as shown below:

  Specify the user name and the password and connect.

  [5] then he raise ACS GUI, then go to

  System configuration > device upgrade status > download,.

  Then we? 'll get a screen where it will ask for the ip address of the server to install:

  Provide the ip address of the system where we apply this patch, in our case our

  ip address of office, and then click on connect.

  [6] he will show us after screen:

  Click on? Download now?

  Then he? show us this screen:

  Press? Refresh? Until we see the following screen:

  [7] now, press on? Apply the update? Then he? He wants confirmation:

  Press? Update?, then we? 'll get information about the patch.

  Click on? Yes?.

  It? LL take a few minutes to apply this hotfix on the device.

  Then he? show us a confirmation message:

  Press? Fact?, then the system will restart.

  To confirm that the patch has been applied successfully, goto

  The manufacturer has replaced the HD on my computer laptop 64 bit Windows 7.  Update Windows shows about 100 updates important to apply.  I can't find patches that I had previously applied in the list of applied hotfixes or patches to apply list.  I don't understand why this is.  How would you recommend I do.  I'm afraid to apply the patches to 100 at a time.  Those who would be safer to start with?

  In order to apply the fix, you must first carefully read the "Readme" of the patch for instructions.

  To give an overview of the sequence of steps to follow to apply a patch in environment dataguard, here it is:

  1 reporter on the primary to the standby log shipping.

  2 cancel the MRP on the standby database.

  3. apply the patch of power supply on the standby server. -See the Readme for instructions.

  4. ensure that the standby db is mounted and the earpiece is in place on the standby server.

  5. do not run any script correction on the standby database.

  6. apply the patch of power supply on the principal server.

  7. make sure that your primary database and the listener on the primary server is running.

  8 turn on the primary to the standby log shipping.

  9 start the MRP on the standby database.

  10. run the script of correction (catbundle.sql) on the primary database and monitor the progress of the eve of the resumption.

  I am applying the patch 17529626 on platform EBS R12.1 Linux X 86-64. So I am facing the following problems:

  I answer 'Yes' to continue such patch recommended in some other discussions of Oracle.

  2: after spending the step that precedes the adpatch blocks in the following lines:

  I want to run my ADF application locally my JDeveloper and run in IE11. Here are the steps I followed:

  I closed JDeveloper and weblogic Server embedded

  3 - I opened the folder of his and I follow the steps in the readme file.

  Try to follow the same steps that you did but set ORACLE_HOME = C:\Oracle\Middleware\oracle_common and extract oracle_common folder instead of the folder jdeveloper OPatch.

  If you get errors while applying the patch in oracle_common try to remove the middleware House and re-JDeveloper Setup again.

  Hi gurus.

  I have an SR open the framework of this call, but its been almost 2 weeks and several calls of "escaclation" and still nothing from them...

  I must apply a number of patches in a range of products. Some of these products are 'shared', as in they need to be patched because they are dependencies on other installed products "full."

  What is the best way to apply these in the shortest amount of time?

  I'd like to just their bundle all in a merger and press the apply... but I'm afraid that this is going to work.

  They I think about it is to run each corrective product group in separately... This will take a long time as I have about 8 different prodcuts to patch for.

  Any ideas?

  If you have the wrong oracle_home then it will lift these errors

• Cannot apply the patch due to the error of the applet

  I am trying to apply this hotfix http://helpx.Adobe.com/ColdFusion/KB/ColdFusion-security-hotfix-apsb13-03.html but when I go to System Info > update file, I get a security error JRE. I tried Chrome, Safari, FF on PC and Mac without success. Is there another way to apply the patch without having stupid applet? UGH.  TIA

  I am new to ORACLE RAC, I just want to know how to install or upgrade existing oracle 11 GR 2 on CARS.
  
  We have RAC on solaris 10 64-bit. Here is the result of the database instance.
  
  SQL > SELECT * FROM SYS. V_$ ACTIVE_INSTANCES;
  
  INST_NUMBER INST_NAME
  ----------- ------------------------------------------------------------
  1 testdev1:DEVT1
  2 testdev2:DEVT2
  
  So on sever testdev1 whe running instance DEVT1 and break in testdev2 DEVT2 is running.
  
  Current database version is 11.2.0.1.0... I want to update, or apply the patches 11.2.0.2.0 scheme.
  
  I want to do the upgrade out of Place (i.e. create new oracle home and install oracle)
  
  I successufully standalone update DB (No. CARS) but I'm not having experience in the CCR.
  
  Can you please guide me, or send me the link of the document that I follow to upgrade database RAC 11.2.0.1 to 11.2.0.2.0

• Install RAC 11 GR 2 and apply the patches with the new Option of software updates YES

  Anyone tried the installation with the new Option of software updates?
  
  I'm going to install grid RAC 11 GR 2 and I intend to do the following steps:
  (1) install the Oracle Grid Infrastructure 11.2.0.2 patch group
  (2) make all configurations with YES
  (3) create ASM disks
  (4) install Oracle Database 11.2.0.2 software only
  (5) apply recommended patches 11.2.0.2.2 Oracle (12311357) and 12431716. (Ref. MOS doc [756671.1 ID])
  (6) create the RAC (advanced option) with DBCA database
  
  With these steps:
  Grid and ASM disks would be configured without the recommended patches, but the database will be created with applied patches.
  
  I would not do a "Software only" install IM and then apply the patches because later I would have to manually do all the configuration steps.
  
  If I use the Option of YES software updates to apply patches, YES makes the adjustment, and then I would set up the GRID with YES?

  'Use the feature of dynamic download and apply software upgrades of software updates as part of the installation of the Oracle database. You can also download updates separately using the downloadUpdates option and later to apply during installation by providing the location where updates. »

  Don't miss...
  * Error: INS-20704 while installation 11.2.0.2 with Option 'use downloaded software updates' [1265270.1 ID] *.
  : Note ensure that the user download the updates of patches have own/correct permission to download updates to patch to MOS (My Oracle Support).
  Do not use the directories/tmp/oraInstall * for the download location. New bug 9975999
