Stretch BG image in table for IE8?

I use a table that needs to change size on a regular basis, and this tag works perfectly

develop the image of BG in FF and IE9.  Unfortunately in IE8, the image of BG do not expand.

" < table width ="550"cellpadding ="4"border ="0"background =" http://www.peattiecapital.com/images/featuredbgNL.jpg "Align ="center"style =" background-repeat: No.-repeat; " background-size: 100% 100%; » >

There the CSS attributes that could work in IE8?

See in the table on this page:

http://www.peattiecapital.com/featured.php

Would be grateful of your lawyer.

Hi Ken,

Sorry for the delay in responding - zones!

I did 2 samples for you and put it on my server:

http://Sudarshan.me/adobeforum/samples/css3tablebg/index.html

http://Sudarshan.me/adobeforum/samples/css3tablebg/index1.html

To make it easy for you to see the code in 1 shot, I defined my css in the HTML itself. And I used an id to apply it to the table.

The difference between the two in a few lines of the table deleted in index1.html for you to see how the 'expansion' occurs.

I used pure CSS3 (no image whatsoever) to reproduce the table background color, drop shadow but also rounded edge you initially.

The advantage here being it loads fast, no image queries, lower latencies.

Also, if you notice your background image, when the table grows in height, the "rounded edges' no longer not rounded. With CSS3, it will remain pure rounded edge.

Feel free to enter the CSS code from the link I posted!

Trust that this assistance.

    How to make the image placeholder to not stretch the images by default and instead when I add the image using the + symbol, must preserve the proportions of the image and resize only based on the width or height?

    Or keep the proportions of the image but the culture of the surplus beyond the current size of the placeholder.

    I want this default because when I create my classes, my images vary in sizes and proportions a bit. So invest time on each image through "Edit image" in the properties is not effective.

    As Lilybiri, we never use the placeholder either, but you can create templates in Photoshop for your images that have the same size of canvas than your placeholders. We did when we created models for SMEs to use in one of our series of courses. The images are scaled and cropped in Photoshop, quick and easy.

  • Click on the image to change the same image through table of images

    Hello

    I have an image in a form. I want to click on the image and then change to the next image in the table. When he arrives at the end it would be just a loop around on the next click.

    My thoughts of code are lower, but it does not work - someone can help?

    var images = Array (Image1.value.image.value, Image2.value.image.value, Image3.value.image.value);

    for (var i = 0; i < images.length; i ++) {}
    If (projectImageField.rawValue is {images [2])}
    projectImageField.rawValue = images [i];
    }
    }

    The idea is so I click the image, it would check the table to the current position, add 1 and view the new image. If it is checked and the post was at the end of the table he could start again from 0.

    Seems easy and yet I am unable to make it work. Thanks for your help.

    Hello

    Here is a sample. The main script is in the click event of the button. Please note that there is a variable overall "vCurrent' in the form (file / form properties / Variables), which keeps track of the current image.

    Please take a look at the recent blog of John Brinkman on the incorporation of images and images of liaison (http://blogs.adobe.com/formfeed/2009/11/linked_vs_embedded_template_im.html).

    This example has nine embedded images, so the file size is reflected by the size of the nine embedded images OVER the size of the current image in the ImageField.

    Good luck

    Whenever I have try right-click & save an image, Firefox crashes for 8 to 10 seconds until the download window to appear, and then it goes back to normal. It does this on any website. It doesn't happen in IE or Chrome. I tried to clear all my history & cookies & restart and it still happens. I tried saving to different readers and it always happens.

    After you import an image (.jpeg) file for the Photos on my Mac app, can I safely delete this image file to save space on my hard drive?

    Yes, you can remove the file from the imported image, if you have imported the image as managed.  IE preferences in ave Photos settled on "import: copy items to the photo library" being the default.

  • If I copy and paste an image file (jpeg, for example) in the folder of photos on my Mac, is it automatically imported in the Photos app?

    If I copy & paste an image file (jpeg, for example) that I downloaded from the internet to the folder of photos on my Mac, is it automatically imported in the Photos app? Note that the picture on my Mac folder is the folder that contains the file "Library.photoslibrary Photos".

    N ° you must actively import photos with the file-> import... command.

    Given that you can delete the file as soon as it is imported - if you have the copy in the library checked preferences - I use a folder called 'imports' on my desk to separate files that I'm importing. Once they are imported files into the import folder can trash.

  • I constantly get a message saying "no support for IE8 and lower grades.

    * Original title: error message?

    I get constantly a message saying 'no support for IE8 and below' and its asking me to upgrade my browser... I don't have any idea what to do as a novice PC user... help please :(

    Hello

    Vista came with IE8 and the updated browser he received was the only one that ever. for IE9.

    But you need Service Pack 2 to install IE9 on Vista.

    Click Start > right click on computer > left click on properties > see if you have Vista 32 bit or Vista 64-bit installed.

    It will also tell you which SP you have installed.

    Then, choose the download of 'bit' OK to use to install Service Packs, installation of SP1 first if it is not already installed.

    Vista SP1 32-bit (x 86): http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30

    Vista SP1 64-bit: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=21299

    Vista SP2 32-bit (x 86): http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=16468

    Vista SP2 64-bit: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17669

    This Information Microsoft can help you resolve problems that you encounter during the installation of Service Packs for Vista.

    Your best option would be to install Firefox, etc. on Vista.

  • Image Data Converter for Mac rotation loop

    I have the latest version of Image Data Converter for Mac.  Normally I use Lightroom, but I wanted to try this software because it is designed for Sony raw files.

    The software works pretty well on my Mac Pro 2013, unless there are too many raw files in the directory in which I work, OR, apparently, in the surrounding directories (that is, a library of raw files. organized in folders named after the date  In this case, although the program opens very well (even if it can run for a while at the beginning, no doubt scanning the photos in the folder), attempts to change a raw file quickly causes the program to enter a loop of rotation.  The progress on the operation bar to progress issue (change of saturation, noise reduction, etc.) all the way to the right, then the program hangs forever.  In one case, I waited an hour to see if it would eventually take himself off, but no luck.

    If, on the other hand, I do a new folder outside the hierarchy of photo library, copy all the raw (40 - odd of them) files in the new folder, and then the Image Data Converter point to the new folder, it works very well.

    This is a really special bug.  This means that the software works for people who are only noodling autour, but if someone wants to do a serious blow to a large library of publishing, he can forget it!  This is really not the kind of behavior of Sony would allow.

    Hi mr_protocol,

    Thank you for that bring to our attention. We will send this for good service for future updates on the software.
